I say this as a Buster blader player. But dragon buster destruction sword, especially when union carrier was still legal… No one is going to have fun absolutely nobody even the person who attached the sword.
I play the lock in Dragunity because for some ungodly reason Levyaten can equip ANY Dragon from the GY, and I absolutely agree. It sucks and anyone who uses it is a bad person That being said, nothing will ever be funnier than seeing the opponent go: Normal Summon Sunseed Genius Loci, Surrender
Even though destruction sword was a broken floodgate I would say union carrier, its enabler, was much worse. It can work as a foolish burial and remember when people were attaching Buster Drake to herald of ultimateness in drytron to be immune to DRNM? Union carrier was madness
At a Locals I brought a deck inspired by Playmaker from Vrains. It had Cyberse Clock Dragon in it. I was still trying to figure out how to use it, so after I lost my tournament round I passed the time with my opponent playing a fun game. My opponent went easy on me so I could practice my combos, linking off monster after mnster and even summoning Cyberse Magician. And then I got Cyberse Fusion in my hand and JUST as I was about to summon the Clock Dragon my opponents eyes grew wide and he immediately Ashes me. I asked him why he did that and he said "if that clock dragon got out on the field I would've lost." I'm still scratching my head as how that could have happened.
I have tuned in to exactly several Peeps streams and don't recall seeing Ruinforce (I think they Earth lock too early?) so I can only assume it's sole purpose is to FTK with that silly R10 Dora loop. Actually, Monster Gate and Reasoning are probably the bigger offenders, though they're occasionally played just as Grass stand-ins.
Yugioh really is the game of two extremes, sometimes you have the game i had this weekend with me playing Purrely vs Tear with a 45 minute game 1 that only ended because time was called and sometimes you just see a board with more interactions than you have cards to use and you just lose.
7:00 God do I miss my three copies of gateway. And I know it will never come back to three and be relevant at three ever again, because if they did, all it would mean is that somehow the card had been power crept into oblivion.
Who else remembers the darkest time in Buster blader history when people would link summon union carrier and immediately ruin your life by attaching Buster sword to stop you from being allowed to play
Master Duel example. You see someone with a 6 card extra deck summon ZS Ascended sage and you have no handtraps, prepare to die (these are bots that run a program to always have mystic wok in their opening hand)
Any card having to do with the Egyptian Gods, I know they’re not playing an Egyptian God deck. They’re playing a lock with Ra’s Disciple and then summoning out Baronne + an Egyptian God, just to say that they won using an Egyptian God card.
Mine is Worldsea Dragon Zealantis + a WATER lock.🐉💧If you use Marincess Blue Slug, Marincess Coral Anemone, or Marincess Coral Triangle effects beforehand, you WATER lock yourself with summons. Gateway of the Six is basically I summon Kizan to summon Kizan turbo that ends in a Trishula loop.
It is also the closest you will ever get to performing Electric Wind God Fist on Master Duel.
I say this as a Buster blader player.
But dragon buster destruction sword, especially when union carrier was still legal…
No one is going to have fun absolutely nobody even the person who attached the sword.
I play the lock in Dragunity because for some ungodly reason Levyaten can equip ANY Dragon from the GY, and I absolutely agree. It sucks and anyone who uses it is a bad person
That being said, nothing will ever be funnier than seeing the opponent go: Normal Summon Sunseed Genius Loci, Surrender
Even though destruction sword was a broken floodgate I would say union carrier, its enabler, was much worse.
It can work as a foolish burial and remember when people were attaching Buster Drake to herald of ultimateness in drytron to be immune to DRNM? Union carrier was madness
It was only in History of Jank, since the combo was so complicated and time consuming, but say the line MBT.
Oni for Oni
"Effect of Numeron Wall in hand..."
Scoops and leaves the locals tournament without a word
Surprised no prediction princess, only ever used to flip guard dog on the opponents turn
one of my favorite war criminal applications of summoner monk is using him to summon out ZS-Ascend Sage and doing the Utopia FTK
Surprised to not see blaze fenix tbh.
I remember using Toon Table to search for itself and Toon Cyber Dragon in Striker Train to fuse into Megafleet and set up Engage.
Back before the errata "I activate Future Fusion to send all 22 of my machines and 1 Cyber Dragon from my deck. Set 1, go. Gg"
Honestly surprised Telephon wasn't on here.
I've not once seen anything fair that damn card is doing.
As a Morphtronic player I'm sorry, but it's not my fault that konami doesnt give us links nor synchros, so we gotta adapt
Joseph, it's the middle of the night. This has better be good.
2018 when the pendulum plaayer activates instant fusion and you had no hand traps
Joke between my friends: “When the Old Entities wake up, you fall asleep zzz.”
7:00 God do I miss my three copies of gateway. And I know it will never come back to three and be relevant at three ever again, because if they did, all it would mean is that somehow the card had been power crept into oblivion.
I know it’s more of an engine than a proper deck but if I see any evidence that my opponent is playing Predaplants my soul just exits my body
Magma in Bishbaalkin a while back was one of those "aw fuck" cards
Who else remembers the darkest time in Buster blader history when people would link summon union carrier and immediately ruin your life by attaching Buster sword to stop you from being allowed to play
Master Duel example. You see someone with a 6 card extra deck summon ZS Ascended sage and you have no handtraps, prepare to die (these are bots that run a program to always have mystic wok in their opening hand)
S.Monk is slept on
Any card having to do with the Egyptian Gods, I know they’re not playing an Egyptian God deck. They’re playing a lock with Ra’s Disciple and then summoning out Baronne + an Egyptian God, just to say that they won using an Egyptian God card.
Now that YCS Indianapolis happened, we can add Neo Space Connector to the list.
Intro caught me off guard. Didn’t expect TADC
Fitting release timing given what happened at the recent YCS
I think I put Reasoning cuz like holy shit I LOVE watching people mill their entire deck to set up Gustav Max FTKs...
Seein Cherubini in Master Duel with no handtraps in hands was a signal from the heaven to just go outside and touch some grass
Machu-Mech / Mini Guts OTK was my shit for years
Was thinking Darklord Nurse and the continuous trap that does the same thing.
You could make an argument for Union carrier used outside of ABC's
Bro you should do a ten minute testing over plunder patroll + chimera fusion, I think it's decent and really fun
Mine is Worldsea Dragon Zealantis + a WATER lock.🐉💧If you use Marincess Blue Slug, Marincess Coral Anemone, or Marincess Coral Triangle effects beforehand, you WATER lock yourself with summons. So if your opponent isn't playing a WATER deck, you can play Zealantis and only summon back your WATER monsters, wiping out their entire field of monsters!
I got judged called for this play because it was such a clutch game-changer 🥰
Guilty as charged for using Cupid Pitch into Corridor in my Tomahawk Turbo deck in Master Duel
Joseph seems like the kind of person that would be Jax if he was in the digital circus ngl
1:45
Hot take: Master Duel is unironically healthy for the game.
No normal monsters surprised me. Was expecting to see Jerry or some equally shoehorned vanilla
Gimmick Puppet Nightmare. Basically scythe for Branded but on steroids
1:36 and as of this weekend, Acid Golem
th outro played, i clicked on my home feed, rememered dire always puts a post outro joke, went back to the video, scrolled to the end, no outro joke. thanks dire
If you remember symbol of heritage being on the list you qualify for senior discount
3:56 [pukes], and I didn't bring my bucket.
"He does not need a non-Tuner." H... how did I never realize that? What the fuck??
Special Grinder Golem, bounce Grinder golem, Special Grinder golem, bounce Grinder golem...
7:27 i fucking love the person who put this in and im glad its being brought up now by someone who isnt circle jerking over blackwings or the new raidraptor support. i tried this out with blackwings for. 3 weeks cause i love BW and wanted to see how good i can make them. and fucking HATE this line so much i swapped over to mellfy spright and i swapped right back to a pure synchro varient for the deck. in summary. fuck kali yuga turbo
i am losing my mind
Telekinetic Charging Cell, 1copy of PSY-FRAME Omega, Armageddon Knight and Phoenix Blade is also worth the mention.....
I have never seen anything good come from the activation of Red-Eyes Fusion
Even MBT has been affected by The Amazing Digital Circus
My face when my opponent summons bone tower and I didn’t open any hand traps:🗿
I was surprised to not see Silva on the list here
Seeing Gale Dogra reminds me when people were using it in Shaddolls of all things?
