Great video John. I think Dewar’s is the most underrated brand out there. The 15 at St. Albert Costco is $68 for a 1.75 litre bottle. That is 2 and 1/3 bottles of a 15 year, can’t beat that. It is also great with an ice cube on a hot day very refreshing. For a go to to have on hand, and you won’t worry even throwing it in a cocktail it’s just best value around.
I get that artificial cola in the 15 too...add a splash of craigellachie 13 and problem solved. I prefer the 18 but can't find it since the pandemic started. The 18 with two little drops of Laphroaig 10 is nice.
This is the beauty of blended whiskey; they can really control the flavors throughout the line. I really enjoyed this pack, and was pleasantly surprised by the 18. I probably wouldn't buy the 18, unless it was available at a discount. The 15 is one I consistently keep in my cabinet. I can find 1l bottles on sale very consistently. The 21 double double is excellent as well. Reviews suggest the 32 is really good, so I am keeping an eye out for that one.
The 18 continued to evolve and I quite enjoy it. However, the 21 is actually one of my favourites and one I always keep on hand. I have seen the 32, bit is is more than twice the cost of the 21. A little high!
$60 for the 3 x 200ml tasting pack here in Ontario. I've never had Dewar's, and I'd prefer to try before I buy. Would make a great stocking stuffer though. Maybe a few hints dropped...🤔 Enjoy the decorating, always brightens things up in this darker season! Cheers Jon 🥃🥃 "m"e 🇨🇦
Wow! that is a price difference. I have seen it as high as $45, but it usually sits on the shelf for $35 here. The $25 comment in the video, was a sale. I really should have bought myself a couple of these at that price! I think this was an excellent example of what age might do. The core of each is clearly present, but evovles across these bottles. I hope you have brought some cheer to you place too. It does make a bit difference to have lights and sparkle around the house. Cheers!
Got a bottle of the 15 several years ago. It's a delicate dram that was blended for the asian market. Would be a good one for giving a dram to someone who new the whisky. The 18 looks interesting. Cheers Jon
Loved this, seeing how it evolves over time although I also dislike a metallic note in my whisky so even though it’s exceptional value I might give this one a miss. Cheers!

Awesome! A would agree. They have a good house style, and release some variety too. That is a crazy value! Cheers
I have't seen the 15,, but the Dewar's 18 is quite nice... Still, the Chivas 18 blows it away for me! I will be trying the 21 year old Chivas soon...
I have not had the Chivas 18 yet. I might need to try a bottle!
Believe it or not, I've never had any Dewer's! That said, it's great to hear your thoughts on these. Cheers Jon.
I went a little too quickly through these. Coming back, I definitely enjoyed the light chocolate and deeper oak on the 18. Cheers!

Great idea to add a splash of Craigellachie! When I came back to enjoy the rest of these, the 18 continued to evolve. A nice dram for sure.

Sad Ontario pricing :(

Thanks for sharing some extra information on the 15. Delicate for sure, but I enjoyed it. The 18 continued to evolve. Very good. Cheers!
Great review WN thank you very much
Glad you enjoyed it.
Definitely watching this tonight!!
Cheers brother🥃🥃🥃🥃
Thanks. It's a little too quick, but I had family waiting upstairs!

It is not strong, just ... well there!
I've had Dewar's 12, but not the other two.
The 18 is significantly richer. It evolved as I was relaxing after this shoot too
Hi Ronald, it's good to see you here! Cheers!
@@GregoryKodolanyiRitter Hey! Gregory! Cheers, back to you!
Sir which is good to buy for a gift to my friend this coming Christmas? 12 15 18?
I personally enjoy the 15 and think it would make a fine gift. The 18 is great too, but you pay a fair amount more.
@@WhiskyNeighbour thank you sir
