Did mine and it looks good during the day but at night you can see how bad a job i did putting on even coats. Do i have to wet sand the entire thing and start over?

Probably would be the best bet for clean results.

    No sanding?

Sanding or some kind of adhesion promoter.

I probably should have. But I wanted to revert back if I didn’t like it. If I sanded the light, I might of had to clear coat it if I stripped all the VHT off and it was sanded.

That's how you recondition older yellowing headlights. You sand them clean, Polish them and then clear coat them. Nothing wrong with clear coating headlights, as long as you Polish them nicely before you do it.

If I finish following the steps, and I decide I want the tail lights to be darker after i polish them, can I just west sand them and go over it with another layer of VHT and clear coat? Or do I need to remove all of it?

I think you should able to re spray them. I’m not 100% sure tho
