Optimal is 2-5S. If you use 6S on this goggle, make absolutely sure power is off when you plug in, or you might damage some components. And 2x18650 is unfortunately not enough to keep these goggles going.
Nice! I'm hoping my Jan 7 order gets shipped soon. I want to give HD Zero another chance, after experiencing worse range than analog on Emax's goggles.
Website now says (but it did not when we ordered) "Expected to start shipping in mid-March". Note the word "Expected". Add to that the 3 to 8 weeks shipping estimate. This is the HD Zero business model. Take pre-orders, order parts, build then ship.
Hello , the last couple of week two events occur to me . The first was i got to view BOX goggles and i was not impressed . The image itself was clear and crisp BUT the image appeared off at a distance , like watch a TV from across the room . The other was a grandson showed me his Quest 2 VR headset .... WOW !!! The image was very good and " In your face " very Immersive !!! I am half way interested in FPV but i would want goggles that showed an image like the Quest 2 has . If i were to take my index finger and thumb and put them together and hold them up to my orbital sockets , would ,let's say HDZERO ? goggles give me THAT image ???
I have a PSVR2 and recently bought the HD zero goggles. The quality of the HD zero goggles I felt is even better than the psvr2. The field of view is not as huge as the psvr2, but it is fairly large and immersive. I would highly recommend them. (These are my first fpv headset)
Congrats! You are the 800th RUclipsr to show the same stuff. How about doing a video about the process of buying these? No one is talking about how long and the process of getting these. And why it take so long? Do this and you will have a video worth watching.
Just because every other creator did it, doesn't mean another should not. I personally want to share my experience, hence why my content and channel is based this way. The perspective of a content creator is also different. My goal is to have a library of FPV content, regardless of the recency of said product. Think of it as a resource rather than a competition. Having said that, you did give constructive advice. I think showing the purchase process would be difficult to illustrate, and irrelevant to most viewers since there are too many variables. Should I demonstrate 1st day pre-sale purchase, purchase from a retailer, do I use a credit card or Paypal. What about shipping times(express vs Standard) and factors like Covid or Chinese NewYear. You get the point..that video could be complicated and never-ending. I think that why it hasn't been made by any other creator either.

I understand.. these are great so far. You'll have to choose/buy your antennas though. So far so good. 👍
