  • Here is my very long and rambling first look at the HDZero goggles.
    I’m calling this Part One because I stopped trying to make content to focus on doing some beta testing of the firmware as that’s much more important to ensure that users of the production units get the best experience possible.
    I’ll get to making Part Two with more info and flight footage of both HDZero and analog (I’ve also got a Walksnail VRX module on the way too) as soon as I can.
    Thanks for watching, especially if you made it all the way to the end!

HD Zero is it for me, I'm gonna be switching come summer from Dom v3 to these then I can stay analogue and also upgrade to HD, think I'm binning of my QX7 aswell and getting a jumper T pro, sort of like I did with my fishing gear conglomerate and go light weight lol, I'm rambling but anyway great video I'm now gonna sub and dig through your channel if you don't mind lal, thanks again.

    I really love these goggles. They're in the same league as Skyzone. Being that both HDzero and Skyzone listen to the needs of the FPV community. And perfect their goggles accordingly.
    The display image is equivalent to the Avatar HD. But this HDzero goggle is so far ahead of the Fatshark designed goggle in features, that it's not funny.

    • @eatyourvegfpv
      @eatyourvegfpv  Год назад

      No, it does take 6s but they're worried about anyone using an overcharged 6s, which is a valid concern so I wouldn't risk it.

    OMW, the fan noise lever is very very loud.

    • @eatyourvegfpv
      @eatyourvegfpv  Год назад

      Yep, I agree. The video makes it seem a bit worse than in real life though and I don't notice it while flying but in a quiet room, you definitely notice the fans.
      They really move some air through the goggles though so I doubt they'll ever overheat.

  • @RubenCaser
    @RubenCaser Год назад +1

    Nice video man, do you know if the goggles have a setting that stretches the normal 4:3 image from the camera out to 16:9 on the screen, without any clipping or cropping? (Similar to how the Skyzone 04x can display it)

    • @eatyourvegfpv
      @eatyourvegfpv  Год назад +1

      I don't think so at least at the moment, no.
      Why would you want to stretch and distort a 4:3 image to 16:9 though? I'm curious.

    What size lipo are you using to power it now?
    I power my Fatsnail goggles with a 3s LI-Ion and got decent flight time with it.
    I am getting the HDZero goggles eventually so wondering how you did with other lipo's.

    • @eatyourvegfpv

    Great video. It's certainly got me more interested in the goggles. I wasn't sure so didn't order in the initial run.
    At the moment I have EV300O (similar to the Skyzone 04X) at the moment, I often can't see the far corners of the screens with those on. Do you think these will fix that?
    Also... I don't know much about the analog modules. I see they controls on the outside. But can you control the module channel (etc) from the goggle menus?

    • @eatyourvegfpv
      @eatyourvegfpv  Год назад

      Thanks! 👊
      Well for me at least, the screen size (FOV) is spot on, and corner to corner is in view and dead sharp. No pincushion effect either.
      At the moment, there's no way of controlling an analog module using goggle controls, but all the Fusion menus display on screen in the goggles so there's really no difference when using the Fusion joystick.
