When you get the std goggles foam there's a cut out centre section you have to remove. Don't throw it............ THAT forms the lens cover, easy push fit, stays put, fuzzy side to lens to protect. Why 3D print, etc, something else? I'm not using the normal padded surround, it still fits fine.

Is there a good website or video for how to setup HDzero? I am saving up for an HD system. Looked at HDZ and was intimidated by the price and complexity. Also DJI integra is half the price of HDZ now in the USA. I also not super interested in racing but more freestyle and long range. Currently have the tiny hawk freestyle 2 rtf.
I really want to love HDzero (currently using the VRX with my skyzone 03O''s). The sad reality is that I want to switch from VRX to a HD goggle and the HDzero goggles will cost me 680 euro while the DJI Integra cost me 450 Euro... I find it really hard to justify HDzero goggles over DJI Integra for my FPV style (A bit of freestyle, cruising and racing) when I can just use my Skyzones for racing and DJI for everything else.
And the HDZero system performance isn't in the same ballpark as DJI's is! Not even close! And, HDZero VTX's burn out like matches in a matchbook! Seriously all the Friggin' time! People have stopped using HDZero because of that reason! SERIOUSLY. That, and the fact that the image quality is barely better that the best analog gear! Go buy the best analog camera and the best analog VTX and compare it to HDZero. HDZero will be slightly sharper, but THATS IT! NO better distance you can fly to. No better penetration, heck there's virtually none... Especially when compared to DJI! Can't fly into a forest, a tree, or around any objects. You get 3 trees out 30 meters in front of you and you get snow! It's a joke! All for the most money of any FPV product! Goggles $600, antennas, about $100, a battery for goggles about $25, analog adapter?, etc, etc. Nearly $800 for a slightly sharper image than the best analog gear! Nah. Too much for too damn little! All hype and no delivering! I'd stick with great analog gear. Hardly any difference! FACT. It's why it's called ANALOG2! 😂🤷🤦
