Can’t believe you have been using that charger for so long. Makes sense to upgrade from that but the PSU looks really bulky and not at all portable. I think I will end up buying a parallel charging board to use with my HOTA d6 to get best of both portability and speed. Totally agree that a quality lanyard is essential, personally i prefer to have a short on and rest the radio up high.
Haha yeah the power supply isn’t super portable but I got it for pretty cheap off of a friend so it made sense. Could be worth me looking into another one for travel, but hey FPV isn’t portable anyways 😂😂
Hey, he made a video about this, the drone bundles at every budget one, he said to start with a Radiomaster pocket m2 elrs with 18650 batteries and to just start in a sim, because with 100 bucks, you can get even an okay one. I recommend DRL for the sim, it’s the best and has the best training program, and it’s the one both Brodie and I started with. Hope this helps!
Hey there! Thank you for this amazing channel and the content you do with that passion! I'm just in the beginning of this journey and I see you have the standard version of TX16S. What would be your advice on the MAX version of this controller (or the Boxer MAX)? Should a complete newbie go for the more expensive version or the standard TX16S/Boxer versions are enough? What goggles would you recommend for them meaning I would mostly need them for analog drones (not cinematic, but more of a competition/military usage)? And what small training drone would you recommend for home training (within a house)? Thanks for your answer!
Get a cinder block at the hardware store for $4 and turn it sideways so the two hole are facing you then run you balance board / xt60 through and charge you batteries in side of the cinder block If I battery were to burst into flames the cinder block would most likely contain the flames
Yeah good idea. I tend to charge either within a LiPo protection bag (Not fully sure of how fireproof it is, but sure it is better than nothing) or otherwise my garage floor (Concrete)
An inexpensive tabletop grill works pretty well too. Or just an oven broiler pan covered with a disposable aluminum pan. I put a smoke alarm directly on top.
a more expensive piece of gear is a Bat-Safe its a fireproof box with air vents with filters for smoke, lipo bags do not work, my Bat-Safe saved me from an angry 4s battery.
I felt like I was in a loadout screen of an arcade game with the music and pace…. Also I love my Ethix strap it’s the best upgrade other than the foam for dji goggles
I guess I have to pay for the insults at some stage.
Let's go dude! Appreciate the support a lot✌️
how much does youtube take from NZ$10.00?
@@flat-earther I think maybe 30% or something?
Yep I believe that is correct! 😁
Thumb grippies come in a range of shapes for different grips as well as different colors.
They sure do!

I have the HOTA D6 PRO and it is soooo worth it😄
I strongly advise against buying the ISDT Q6 charger.
Just today another reddit thread popped up warning about a defect that destroys battery cells.
Hmmm interesting! I haven’t previously heard about this and have honestly only heard good things from friends who own them 👀
I'm really wondering if my ISDT K2 has a bug with LiHv packs. Have you heard anything about that?
Great video. Are you not worried that a crash with the stubby antennae will damage the screw thread instead of the sacrificial bendy wire?
I LOVEEE those ripsticks!!!! adds some colour
Hell yeaaa
I’m a new starter and all I have is 110$ I rlly wanna start but idk what to get any help?

Can you use DJI goggles with non DJI drones? Sorry. I’m a newbie.
No you cant
The charger is a no no. Get urself a hota s6. Very good charger and worth the money without needing an external psu
I’ve heard equally great things about both, and within my experience + friends experience have had no issues with the ISDT Q6 Nano ✌️
nothing wrong with the isdt q6 nano

I miss the sweat shirts.
I highly recommend not using that damaged battery anymore, even if it continues to charge. Shes well gone mate
Agreed - that cell is dead and is 🔥 waiting to happen if charging. If you want to salvage it remove the dead cell and convert the pack to 4/5S
Heard and understood ✌️ Battery is gonna get recycled
That nothing bro can get much more uses out of that just don’t charge it indoors, & don’t fly your most expensive build with them
6:47 Those pants are criminal.
..
Useless...
Agreed
