Can you share step by step your training practice from beginner to pro pilot so we can try it?
I have both the Pro and the X. I love them both. The X is definitely better for ripping outdoors, but the Pro is a blast outside when there is no wind on a sunny day too. Both work great with my FatShark goggles.
@@quoll4961 honestly 2.5 minutes is about average outside with little wind. The Cetus Pro will just land when the battery is consistently at 3.3 volts. Kind of a pain but I understand why they do it. For the money just buy the Cetus X I am using it with a ELRS Zorro and FatShark attitude v6 googles and love it.

I'm glad I took the X because that's how you can reflect on your flights because of the recording. The advantage of the Pro, however, is the sensor for the altitude. If you want to fly indoors or playground with ANGLE mode, such an altitude hold is really great... Actually you should have both. :) Maybe you can connect a barometer to the X ?

I subbed. I appreciate this video. I wan't looking for a full spec breakdown of these rigs, I wanted to see a basic performance comparison. Looks like the X wins. I have a couple rc helicopters, and multiple rc cars/trucks/tanks/etc., but, the FPV stuff would really expand my appreciation of all things RC. From the rc monster trucks, to trail rigs, tanks with a camera where each person in the tank would be... Scale life on slow-mo looks stupid great.

Thank you, good video, but there’s a problem, I want to buy a Cetus fpv, version X, so that I can hover in place like the pro version. But this feature is only available on the version with the frsky protocol which is not the best to use, I want to use elrs. Any ideas?

Hi am your fan for 3 years recently bought the Cetus x after a year of saving broke my Cetus x camera requested beta fpv unfortunately they told my I have to get a new unit after talking they agreed to sell the whole cam unit C04 but it costs 50 dollars with shipping I live in a 3rd world country so I cannot afford 50 dollars especially as I used my savings on the drone if you can could you find me discounts or gift coupon codes to help me out so I can continue my hobby of flying fpv if you don’t believe me I can send all proof of chats with beta fpv and my drone camera so if you can give me some support it would be great currently on 20$ hole me the best

I bought the BETAFPV Cetus Lite on 'Prime day" used a 20% discount and got it for $123.88. it shipped, but I guess the package was damaged before it even got to its first stop (I never saw it). So it was automatically returned to sender. I was never given the choice of refund or replace. they just refunded my $123.88. I would rather have had it replaced. Now if I want the thing it will cost me $157.99! So now I will never do business with them again

Там за камерой плату передатчика надо укрепить/приклеить. Она вообще не закреплена к корпусу и держится совсем на соплях. Производитель специально сделал слабое место чтобы от ударов ее нынешнее крепление вырвало и люди купили бы ещё один дрон. Выкрутите полностью винтики у камеры, выньте ее и увидите о чем речь.

Noob question but the website for the Cetus X lists the Cetus FC and the Betaflight FC. Is it safe the say the Betaflight version is more of a pro version than the other?

I still dont understand the voltage? i thought if it went to V0.00 it would be out of juice? Also any idea why two of my batteries are only charging to V3.70ish? only used them once with no crashes/impacts

What is the brightness in the room have to do with reception? That makes no sense
i fly in N mode and slow, but my cetus pro has a very bad drifting to the right when i do nothing and when i move that causes bad crashes to the wall etc.

If you don’t want to spend 1000 bucks I would go for it, but if you want something that will not just be as a first but also as a pro drone I would go for GEP RC ROCKET with the DJI Air unit.

What the difference of cetus fc and betaflight fc on the cetus x

From my experience, the Cetus Pro is an alright option, with the stock goggles the video range was my biggest problem, then what killed it was when I was flying it outside in the winter once the snow melted and dried up and flew it through my neighbor friends open garage and chill spot connected to their trailer and I tried to do a punchout straight up once I was out from from underneath the ceiling, well I did it too early and clipped the roofs shingles, last thing I seen through the video was it hitting and flipping before the video signal faded out to a complete black screen before hitting the ground, I walked over thinking it disconnected the battery but it wasnt that and I flew it over towards me, turns out the vtx shorted out on impact and there was no video or osd display onscreen, and there was no exact replacement all in one flight controller specifically for the Cetus pro so it was a line of sight flyer before it was parted out, before the vtx short it was only 3 weeks old and had around 30 flights or so. Get the Cetus X instead it seems like a way better option
Hello friend, I want to buy the cetus x but I am in doubt whether to buy this or the meteor85, I have a Frsky control that would work for the X and in the case of the meteor85 I need a new control since it is ELRS, the meteor is considerably better for buy it and a new control too?

How to record the Clip?
I don't get why everyone is recommending this on youtube. I get its cheap but isn't 4-5 mins of flight time very low? for me its a deal breaker and I am not sure why this is okay for others.
4-5 mins is the average FPV flight time. How long did you expect it to fly?
I have since 2023-04 an antenna mod video. In my opinion, the perfect antenna for the Cetus X FPV kit suitcase and for other quads with a circular antenna !

hey, i have cetus pro and i have hard time flying inside or outside. its ok if i am gentle with throttle. The problem shows up when i punch it and than lower throttle and i get hardcore oscillation while falling down. the drone cant recover until it hits the ground. my question is: did you change PID and rates on pro version and if so, to what? I love fpv but cant fly like than. I hope you answer and i will be eternally grateful.

In my last video from yesterday (Final episode of my very first FPV) at the very end of the video, you can see in a picture what I will do with the parts of the Cetus X soon. (2,0 inch Twiglet Mini 2S). I only had to change the camera and the VTX, because the camera and VTX from the Cetus X are not compatible with the BETAFPV Micro Canopy 2022 that I really want. It would also be possible to use all parts of the Cetux X with the Crux3 canopy, for example, but the VTX would be loose in the canopy or is more difficult to attach and would probably need an insulated foil so that the VTX does not touch other circuit boards... However the advantage with the Crux3 canopy would be that you would be independent of the BETAFPV ecosystem…

What kind of batteries are you using on both the quads? Ever tried the Tattu 450 mAh/75C 1S battery?
