This brought a tear to my eye, I love The Muppets with all my heart. Thank you Brian Hull for making this Irish girl proud. Plus you made me laugh so much and your Fuzzy was so funny, Jim Henson would be proud.
Rizzo isn't part of the Muppets anymore because he was voiced by Steve Whitmire (who also voiced Kermit from 1990 after Jim Henson's death), who was fired by the Henson family in 2016. The part just hasn't been recast.

And Danish a worse version of Norwegian that sounds like a worse version of Swedish = Danish chef.... because most Swedish don't understand fluid Danish but hear Swedish like words in it

They actually used Rizzo a bunch in the 2015 ABC muppets show but they haven't used him since due to Steve Whitmire's firing

I would guess that when Steve was responsible for the very in-demand character of Kermit the Frog, his schedule became pretty busy and his other characters suffered for screen time.
He's also in the Muppet babies 2018 series
His Gonzo kind of reminded me of early Gonzo, before it settled into his modern voice.

Rizzo really does need to come back, even if it's in his own origin movie.
They would need to recast/find a new performer for Rizzo because they fired the guy who used to do him (Steve Whitmire, who was also the voice of Kermit after Jim Henson died).

There's no doubt that the muppets is one of the undisputed champions of kid's entertainment.
The muppets is able to remain endearing, charming, heartwarming, with it's lovable characters and story. And the muppets is also known for it's powerful emotional moments. The funniest of comedy.
Steve Whitmire said this about the demand for Kermit on The Puppet Tears podcast, "Just the performance aspect of Kermit alone and the demand for that took me away from almost any other character I did so suddenly there was no time to do Rizzo."

Well, back in 2015, Steve Whitmire and Disney had a bit of an ultimatum about the Muppets going in a nasty direction due to Disney’s decision. He was then fired. While Matt Vogel took his place on Kermit’s part, they were not able to find a replacement to do Rizzo.
All your impressions were amazing! Especially Honeydew and Beaker with the hilarious editing!

A difficulty with Muppet voice impressions is that the characters have passed on to second- and third-generation performers. It some cases is hard to know which performance you are imitating. I've heard many of the performers make it clear that while they try to approximate the voice, they really try hardest to capture and carry forward the character's heart, motivations, and history.
Yeah I agree fozzy and gonzo isn’t quite there but the rest was impressive
Fantastic video! Most of the impressions were pretty spot on and the skits Brian created were awesome too! Also, I've always had a soft spot for the Muppets but I don't think I've ever seen another impressionist other than Brian Hull do impressions of them so this was pretty cool!

Jimmy looks amazing! Your impressions were spot on for most. Kermit and Miss Piggy were fantastic. The Sam Eagle, Stanford and Waldorf, and Fozzie could use a little more work. I feel like Fozzie is really close. Please keep practicing his. Even Frank Oz didn't have his voice down pact the first episode.
Those were all really spot on! I think the weakest was sadly Fozzie, but still super impressive!!! And Honestly, I think your impression of Kermit is SOOOOOO much better than the new guy they got to be him ever since they fired his voice actor.

The character of Rizzo the Rat was retired in 2018 after his only performer, Steve Whitmire, was fired by the Henson family amid controversy (as Whitmire also had voiced Kermit the Frog ever since Muppet creator Jim Henson's death in 1990).
Dude! I am LOVING the new studio! We saw a glimpse of it in the Encanto Impressions video, but it looks so much better now! Like you said, it’s actually decorated and there aren’t any blank walls, either! 😊👍

Hey Brian! Just wanted to say that you are absolutely phenomenal! Love how you keep going strong and produce such great and entertaining videos. Also, a tip for doing Fozzie if your stuck with his voice. Make sure you add a slight stitch (back of your throat) sound. I build Muppet replicas, so that's my tip for Fozzie! ;)

Regarding Swedish Chef, I remember some comedian saying in one of their performances (I think it was either Will Anderson or Adam Hills) that they'd asked a few Swedish audience members about in during their show there and they told him they didn't even know his name was Swedish Chef, because he went by another name (I don't remember which nationality it was) in the subtitles for their broadcasts and the comedian had then joked, posing the idea of (the nationality I don't remember) knowing him as Swedish Chef, thinking that's how they talk, only for Swedish people to go to their country and talking like Swedish Chef for fun, making the (nationality I forgot) think that's proof Swedish people talk like that.
The comedian made it sound way funnier than I did.
Wow. Just wow. I am an aspiring voice impersonator and I pride myself on my muppets voices, but wow. Those just blew me away. Statler and Waldorfs voices were ok, but their laughs was so good. Don’t be too worried about fozzie it was good. Amazing job.

I also wonder why Rizzo hasn't seen used since the 90s.
Last time Rizzo was used was 2015. In 2016, his performer, Steve Whitmire (who was also the voice of Kermit since Jim Henson died), was fired by the Henson family. It was a whole big controversy. You can look it up online if you want details.
@@AJ17_ rizzo was on the James corden show in 2020 or 2021 and In the muppets haunted mansion in 2021 and the muppets take the Hollywood Bown in 2017 so he has been used but he just gets no lines just mainly cameo appearances

The whole situation was just super weird tbh, and I have to assume that there was a lot of behind the scenes drama that that isn't known publicly. Apparently the Hensons were having issues with the guy even before Disney took over, but everyone involved seemed to have a different story, so I don't think we'll ever know what actually happened unless one of the other performers decides to talk about it.

Hi there Brian Hull, my name is Sabrina Griffin and I'm a fan of yours. Your channel makes me very happy, because voice impressions are my favorite thing to do. I can kind of do voice impressions like you do and I know that it takes a lot of practice for anybody to do them. I can do Star Wars, Pokémon, movie voice impressions and cartoon ones too.
Most of those were really spot-on, and really hit the vibe of the muppets (in sound and gags)
