- Here’s a little trick I did for changing out the grill ring inserts on a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel WK2
How to change grill inserts on Grand Cherokee
Worked great on our 2014. A little learning curve but able to swap them all out in 20 mins

You’ll have to take the front bumper off to change the honeycomb.

Can’t wait to do this on my white GC! I have been stuck on what to do for the fog light bezels and the fascia on the front. If you haven’t already done it, you should make a video plastidipping those parts!
I did it one day on a whim and didn’t think to record it lol. They didn’t turn out great, but I’ll redo it sometime.

I just plastidipped them flat black. It looks better than the chrome in my opinion.

Try vinyl wrapping the chrome trim black... works much better then plastidip
Only reason I’m thinking plastidip is cause I can do a glossifier and metallic flake on it to match the paint.
I might have to try the ones from the link you posted. I just tried this today with some random ones that "fit" my year but unless I'm installing them wrong, they do technically fit they just don't fit completely? Idk how to explain but I can tell they aren't perfectly like centered into each slot.
There’s specific bezels for each hole. Just make sure they’re in the right spots might need to switch some around here and there.

Does anyone know if this will also work on my 2017 Grand Cherokee? I am going to paint them gloss black. I'd prefer not to remove the bumper cover.
I don’t think it will I think this grill was from 14-16 years.
@@highclasstrash3596 you where right it didn’t so I removed the bumper cover and removed the grill rings and fog light trim. Painted them all gloss black and then reinstalled them.

How do you like the eco diesel. I just bought a 2014 eco diesel about a month ago and haven’t had any problems plus great mpg’s.
Love it! Only draw back was some acceleration issues after the big recall they did, but other than that it’s a great vehicle...plus I love the looks I get when I pull a Jeep up to the diesel pumps lol
I had the recall AEM done a couple weeks ago. I did notice a little Acceleration loss but everything else seems ok so far.
I’ve also noticed it doesn’t use 8th gear as much, but once the renewed warranty is up I plan on deleting and straight piping it.
I spoke to soon, today the engine light came on and I drove it to the dealer. Catalytic converter code popped up. Ugh, it ran great until today after I got the AEM emissions thing done.
Oh no!!!! I had the exhaust filter regeneration light keep popping up afterwards, that sucks about the cats!!!

They were just overlays with tape on the back.
In your opinion, how do they fit? Nice and snug? Do they make the handle feel goofy?
