I just bought 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Loredo X last month, its the same as the altitude features. I’ve been wanting to do this looks like a pain in the ass but totally worth it.
I've been looking into an intake once I get my exhaust in and on. I actually was trying to record the Crux Motorsports tail light overlays you recommended today but I messed it up bad so they're sending me another haha
What year jeep is this? That would be super helpful before attempting anything that you did! I own a 2014 GC and it doesn’t have screws holding the grill plates.
My inserts have the outer trim in silver & black in the center. Opposite of yours, this is a project I will be doing soon also. This video helps so much. TY for posting this.
@@BJPLIFESTYLE hey thank, I actually checked my car and my grilled is black already I got a bit confused. The frame around the grill is chrome, on another note I am thinking to work in my truck a bit and make a bit more custom. Too bad I can’t share photos here, I’ll like to hear your input on what to do with a 1k budget.
To paint that area without getting any overspray / sanding that area would be a lot worse. Plus if it’s not a perfect paint job (it won’t be if it’s still in the vehicle) it will chip and break down over time
@@BJPLIFESTYLE it would not take long to tape that off and throw a plastic sheet over the surrounding exposed area, you probably wouldn't even need to sand. Whether its plastic or metal you could just clean prime and paint. If done right it'll last years. Would also look cleaner in gloss.
You’re from RI? That’s dope I’m actually gonna start work on my jeep I picked up was wondering if you had any places where I can pick up parts besides pick n pull
The white with black looked better and all you had to do is remove the grill,so easy you worked to hard and spend money you didn't have too.thunds down 👎

It's not too bad, it's definitely worth it!
Just installed a k&n intake on mine and I highly recommend it. The improvement in sound is insane!

BJP LIFESTYLE lol yeah they definitely aren’t an easy thing to do.
I just put mine on a week or so ago and it makes it sounds like a v8! So happy with it!
@@tylernoice8770 Exactly! Insane
Do you have a link for the K&N Intake?
Buying a 2019 jeep grand cherokee altitude in two days. This page is gonna help a lot!
Tons more coming!
I have the inserts and plan on doing this soon. Thanks for the advice.
Did mine w a 12 $ craftsman ratchet w screw tip head, had to take out the hood latch and horns took 1 hour start to finish

It’s a 2018

Watch a video on taking the bumper off. It's easier.
Do you need to remove the screw in the middle, or the ones screwed in upward from the bottom?
Would I need to follow this process to change the outer trim as well? I want to have a couple red accents on the grill.
I believe so, I think around 8 minutes in the video I show the removal of the trim ring with the insert!
Welp, I bought it....so I'm here for good now lol 😆
Congrats!!
You hurt my hand. 🤣🤣
I can’t find one for my 2011 ? Any other ones fit the same ?? Or
You nailed it. This does suck ass. Going try to just take the damn bummer off.
How'd it go?!
What about replacing the rings? My rings are chrome but the honeycomb is black. Please help!
Same process! When you remove the inserts you remove the outer rings as well
I have a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude and this Amazon link says it won't fit. Can you confirm yours is an Altitude?
Yes it’s an altitude!
@BJP LIFESTYLE thank you!!
Thanks for the video man 🙌🏼 Looks great. Forget all the haters on here telling you to spray paint….
Appreciate you!
Why did you stop using the drill extension and switch to the rachet? Is it because it wouldnt fit into the space?
I didn't have a good magnetic bit that was short enough to hit the angles to the sides unfortunately.
Will this fit the 2022 grand Cherokee Laredo WK?
I don’t believe these exact ones will fit it, but they might have similar ones. Probably only MOPAR brand ones for now though
Jeep is the most complexly put together car I’ve ever owned. I just want to install lights but I need a whole jackhammer and a crowbar.
I feel that lol
What grill inserts did you buy? I can’t seem to find the link!
Updated the link in the description!
Hi, did you keep these grill Inserts by chance?
I didn't! Sorry!
@@BJPLIFESTYLE ok thanks anyways!!
I know im a little late, but i just replaced my chrome grill and replaced with the black ones. were you still looking for these?
Hey is this compatible with my 2017 limited jeep?
I think it should be the same! Check the Amazon link in the description to confirm it fits

Did u colour your callipers
I can’t wait to do mine
Too many delicate parts to break and lose. I taped, primed, then painted 3 months ago. Took 30 minutes and is still holding strong
The route I’m thinking about taking…
Niceeee!!! Your a life saver !
Looks like taking the bumper might take the same amount of time and be far less of a hassle.
It takes a lot longer & you need some special rivots to put it back - kind of a pain
Damn!!! Bought the wrong ones
I've heard people are ordering the plastic ones and getting some sort of overlay or something. Super unforunate
Thank you for making these videos .. I've been watching them enough to do these mods myself..
It would be easier to tape, sand, clean, and paint! Why are people going through all this trouble.

A painters tape, brake cleaner and black paint spray can could save u time, work and money...
Until the paint starts chipping
Save the money. Just paint them.
Bad video my guy.
I don't remember asking
@@BJPLIFESTYLE yeah , so bad he watched it and commented lol

Do you think this grille would work on a 2013 grand Cherokee limited 🥹 Ik you said it should work on most grand cherokees but just wanna be sure 😭
It may be slightly different, but you should be able to find one that’s similar for yours
