Yes it does cost some money, getting a good donor car is your best bet to offset the price, I have made almost $2k before parting out a car I paid $800 for. Keeping in mind this truck weighs 5400lbs empty, nearly 6k loaded, and lifted about 12" on one ton axles, I am shocked to be averaging nearly 21 MPG mixed driving. Most vehicles this size in my area struggle to get 15 mpg
