Hey thank you so much for sharing your work, knowledge and, time. I just ripped the 4.0 out of my ranger and I'm going to tdi swap it. I came across your channel during my research and now I have more inspiration from this! Hope your swap is going well. Please do keep posting! 😊
@@nakulagoodine1270 I’m glad you’re liking the series so far! Definitely a lot more content coming your way. This thing isn’t even close to being done🤣. Everything is going to plan so far though
If that's a K and N intake lifetime, washable filter, you might wanna hang onto it. Kinda the gold standard in filters. Another thing to bear in mind is VW is notorious for crap electronics. They like an excessive amount of sensors and computer connections. The electrical components (door locks to window actuators) should be an easy sell as anyone who has a VW needs replacement parts...often.
Everything is going according to plan so far! Now the real work begins pairing down the wiring harness to the bare essentials. Thanks for watching! Great to hear from ya👍
I’d absolutely love to see the process of you selling the parts off the Volkswagen too. I’m sure a lot of guys buy parts cars and then don’t known how to turn them into profit once they scavenged what they needed from them. What’s your plan? eBay? Marketplace? Would love to know.
I actually just sold some parts off it 20 minutes ago. Haven’t quite broken even on the car but we’re gettin there. FB marketplace has been exclusively a winner when it comes to selling

@@nakulagoodine1270 Ya I got my start in diesels with that 7.3 powerstroke of mine. Glad to hear I’m not the only one who still wrenches on them🤣!
And away we go! Excited to watch this project buddy!
I’m excited to dive into it!
This is *AWESOME* Cody!! 😁👍 Glad to see you tear into this already. Happy wrenching my friend 🔧
Thanks Zane! I’ve made an absolute mess of my garage LOL. Absolutely no clue what I’m doing, but having a heck of a lot of fun🤣👍
Hell yeah, let it begin.
It’s gonna be a fun project! Thanks for watching!
This is gonna be awesome
@@maybestyles it’s gonna take a TON of work, but I’m excited to see it all come together. Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel!👍

I think I will hold onto that Intake. Might be useful down the road. Ya there’s definitely a lot of parts I don’t need.
K&N was top of the line filters YEAAAAAARS ago, they’re not even remotely close to good anymore let alone on boosted applications.
Coming along nicely.
This project is definitely a marathon not a sprint🤣
I saw a Dakota on the road yesterday and got to thinking “I wonder how that diesel swap is coming along?” Guess we have our answer. 😆

Nice progress! Beginning to wonder what you've gotten yourself into yet?
Oh ya! I have absolutely no clue what I’m doing🤣
@@ydocproductions5593You'll figure it out. I'm certain of that.
