I want to use this engine on a mobile saw mill, unfortunately the injection pump it is electronic controled. The only thing that you have to look out for is injector / pump tuning. Ideally you'd use the 1.6 injectors to start off with to make sure the conversion works as they will match how the pump is tuned, but could go back to the 1.9 or bigger aftermarket injectors that way you can lower the overall duration of the injector fire, and therefore you can reduce egts and up the power, but that is if you are trying to really tune it to how it should be, a 1.6 pump and injectors will make this 1.9 a dog but usable, but there is a plethora of modifications you can do to tune the pump with bigger injectors. Buying an old pump is risky, but an old pump can almost always be rebuilt and retuned, as long as there is a parts market, or you can learn to resource and reuse old parts, but that requires having a good amount of space for an abundance of good and bad parts to salvage from, which can turn into a cluster-phobic headache or an eyesore for most who don't see the value.

This is going to go into a JEEP YJ now. The YOTA has been abandoned due to the frame complications.
