Growing up in New Shiloh Baptist Church was a blessing...witnessing this God-given talent every Sunday was a divine gift. Sherry Hunt is the foundation of my passion for music. It started with her, simply put.
I spent 2 hours honoring and paying my respect to Congressman John Lewis. Afterward, Spirit directed me to listen to the Battle Hymn of Republic, while I 've heard it several times, this rendition touched my soul.
I remember being really young I stumbled across this on PBS. Even from a child this version haunted me and I searched for years to find it. What an incredible arrangement and gift. This will always be a fave of mine please don’t ever take it down.

At this same event he sang "Great is thy Faithfulness." I'm trying to find the video of him singing that song (at the same event). I found him singing the song at a different event in which he is wearing a blue choir robe. Its a good version of Great is thy Faithfulness but the version from this event, is beyond awesome.
