I didn't know that. She was very sensitive to the need for privacy at moments of tragedy. After the school shooting at Dunblane, she went there with Princess Anne and met parents and teachers privately.
From an American, I'm proud to call Great Britain our ally. Even though we argue a lot, we can look past our differences. God save the Queen and God bless America!
@@katew.176 exactly, the song was written about union soldiers fighting to ensure freedom for all men during the Civil War. "Let us die to make man free".
I lost my brother on that terrible day at the Pentagon. I was unaware of the at the time it happened, we were in such grief. But I just want to say how very much I appreciate this. We all have to stand together.... Especially the UK and the US.... Sisters always!
I grieve with you Ms. Godwin, I was in the Pentagon that day. Everybody in my office, we were on the ground floor, A & B rings, got out okay, but we did lose friends in other parts of the Pentagon.
This is the anthem of Lincoln, our greatest President as he sought to abolish slavery. A great man. By the grace of God we live on. And what this man did and the people that died will never be forgotten, on both sides.
Hugh Franklin Yes, the U.S. is still the daughter nation of Britain and, as you say like all teenagers, thinks she knows everything and sometimes tries to get as far away from mom as possible. But her mother is a thousand years older and wiser. Thankfully, in times of real pain mom's arm's are always open when her little U.S. is really hurting, just like my wife, although the girls are now 25 and 29. Of course little U.S. maybe wasn't so little in the 1940s and helped save mom and that funny talking cousin across the channel. Of course little U.S. was so glad that mom didn't hold a grudge too long when we were in our terrible 2s those 230 some years ago and took us back in the family so quickly.
As an American, it is very touching to see British citizens singing one of our songs for us. As a southern American, watching Brits sing The Battle Hymn of the Republic leaves me speechless!
The evening of the Queen's death, the Prom concert by the Philadelphia Orchestra at the Albert Hall was cancelled snd the Orchestra played the National Anthem then Elgar's Nimrod, which was favourite of hers and was played at Prince Philip's funeral. It was beautiful. At the end there was total silence.
As we Americans are quickly approaching the 20 year anniversary of that horrific day, I would like to thank all of you from across the pond and around the world who prayed for this nation and for those who lost their loved ones, friends and fellow Americans. Be well all and thank you Lord Jesus for your mercy and grace.
There isn’t a country that doesn’t need to be better ... we live in a fallen world that is why we need to look toward God and His perfection- Be well and stay safe ☺️
The UK did more than that - The UK went to war in response to the U.S being attacked. We love our family even if we do fall out every now and then we will always stand up for our own.
I love the American people but your politicians, that's a different story. Reagan and Haig seriously discussed giving Argentina sensitive military information about the Brits plans to take South Georgia in the Falklands War.
Twice in US history, we were reluctantly drawn into world wars thousands of miles from our shores. Pacifism runs through our bloodstream. But both times we were headed over to assist the free European nations and were victorious. More recently we decided to crush ISIS and other terrorist forces because they attacked us. What we do whenever we are victorious is rebuild the countries of our enemies and leave. We helped rebuild Germany and the rest of Europe via the ‘Marshall Plan”, saved Japan and exited. Donald Trump is working to do exactly that from the Middle East. Europe is about due for one of their world wars, correct?
Great Britain was the parent, and the thirteen colonies were our teenage child! In the latter part of the 18th century, our child decided to find its own way in the world. The parent looks with pride at some of the things that the child has achieved in its 246 years!
As an American I remember seeing a British band play our National Anthem "Star Spangled Banner" that day and it moved me to tears. It's not every day that you see a British band play an American patriotic song. For a shell shocked country that meant a lot to us.
Pablo, the Star Spangle Banner was a poem written by Francis Scott Key, it didn’t turn into a song till much later but likely caried similar tunes to some British medleys. The song was about the British trying to thwart the American resolve during one of the last battles of 1812 at Fort McHenry in Maryland (that’s what we call it, the British don’t seem to recall they were also at war with the US while battling against Napoleon), right after Washington DC was burned by British troops. The British navy attacked the fort expecting the Americans to quit and lower the flag in defeat hoping to use the bay to reach Baltimore. In the morning, despite the onslaught of bombings in a rough fort that likely didn’t have the updated weaponry to defend itself, the flag was still flying above the fort demonstrating the pride the people had defending the flag and victory. That’s why the American flags are cherished to certain patriots, the average flag represents a government of most countries. While the American flag is different because it represents the spirit of the country, not necessarily the government. The anthem is about honoring those willing to fight for the US despite the odds. Also, Battle of the Hymn is a different song, it was written during the American civil war used to rally support for a united country. Star Spangle Banner was played at Buckingham Palace, requested by the Queen, and it was such an honor that she asked for it if one actually understands the song. Just as it is touching to see our close allies sing a song of supporting our nation in a time when we were questioning if we were that detestable to have those attack on us. There is a story with each of these songs, but it carry’s a different meaning the way how the Brits, and some of our other allies, reached to give whatever condolences they could convey in an emotional time period.
The fact is that we would not have done this for any other country together with playing the USA National anthem at Buckingham palace without your President being present, an honour that has never ever in our history been carried out before shows the deep affection and respect we carry for your nation and her people. God bless the UK/USA
Further emphasised by the fact that HM the Queen sang both the Star Spangled Banner and the Battle Hymn of the Republic at this service. Something that she never does, she will never sing a foreign anthem, yet she did here
It is so heartwarming how close all British people stood by America in those dark days. Britain, please know we have your back just as much. May our alliance last forever. 🇺🇸 ❤️ 🇬🇧
The standard Brit sees you as our kids that's left home. We love you, want you to do well, and want you to come back and look after us when we age and become infirm. The important thing is though, that despite 200 years of us being technically separated, we're still part of the same family with the same values. On a global scale, we're the same people
@JTCanuck86 So , what's your point ? I remember when in Camp Lejuen, NC. we started sending a lot of Marines to Vietnam and we had a couple of Canadians in our Company, who joined the Marine Corp to get CITIZEN SHIP in the USA , if they completed their enlistment. Well , they decided to DROP OUT and go back to Canada. Looks like they just wanted things in a peaceful situation . Lot of that was going on back then ( draft dodgers fleeing to Canada etc. ) It was a wastful war , just like the current ones . 20 years later, I am sitting here crying. Thank you for your solidarity with us. I am an American who very much feels the deep connection between our two countries, our two people. God Bless Great Britain and God Save the Queen.
I may not be an American nor British for I'm a Filipino. But nonetheless I am also in solidarity with US regarding this. I was only 5 when 9/11 happened. My memory at that time was vague for I was only 5 but I still remember that my Dad was watching our evening news back then while I was playing with my toy soldiers in front of the Telly back then when an emergency live broadcast of the 9/11 suddenly popped out. At first my dad thought it was only part of the movie he was watching in CBS that night but soon realized that it was a live broadcast of a terrorist attack and told me that I should go to my room. Fast forward years later, even though I was only young at that time, when I got older, I felt the sadness, fear and anger that the american people felt back then because of the countless lives that was lost during that horrific day.
High Marshall Helbrecht Thank you so much, that was a beautiful post. I want also to say that I know many people of Filipino descent. My favorite cousin's beautiful bride is Filipino. They are all lovely people and I am proud to consider them family. God Bless you all.
well yea...the UK is our older brother/sister....but they werent the only ones to do this...but no mention of them or the other Nato Nations and our other friends around the world eh?
I'm from the UK. I was around 20 at 9/11. I can tell you, we felt what happened on that day, like it happened to us as well. If you're ever interested look up the British parliament (our government, politicians) reaction after 9/11. You can find it on youtube. Some of the most moving and rousing speeches you'll hear. Put it this way, our bayonets were being sharpened...
There's something about this that just really makes you feel emotional as an American. Another country, that your history is based around defeating to make your own country, showing you respect and solidarity during a dark time. This is incredibly moving. As an American, I will always stand with the UK.
Think of it as England is the father, Canada is the polite lovable younger child and America is the older independent son that left home but no matter the distance, that parent still loves their child.
@Calvin C. Couldn’t agree more! And to whoever put the example with us as America as the independent child and Canada stayed, I think that fits perfectly. God Bless you all. And please have a good week!!
I was there. I had moved to London for a year of study abroad. The kindness and solidarity shown by the good people of England is something I will never forget.
The United Kingdom did so much for us on that terrible day and the weeks afterwards.... To anyone from Britain, or anywhere else that did good for America on that day, thank you. You showed us exactly who our friends are. :) We're forever in your debt.
I heart Lyoko your politicians chose to support us in 2 world wars even though it was unpopular with the American public, we would have been reduced to a pile of a rubble without your support in WW2 and I'm very proud that our politicians decided to support you in your war on terror when the rest of Europe turned their backs and said "that's America's problem" well look at all the terror in Europe now, I bet they wish they would've recognised the severity of this back in 2001 as Britain and America did.

Nineteen years after that terrible day, I still find comfort in what the great people of the UK did for my people during that horrific time. Thank you is truly insufficient to express the level of sincere, heartfelt respect I have for the UK and her people. God Bless the United Kingdom and God Bless the United States of America.
23 years and 14 days removed, it still moves me to see such tributes and respect for our fallen citizens. Thank you, Queen Elizabeth, please continue to rest in peace, and know your kind gestures are still remembered. 🖤
As I watch this some 20 years after the fact, with the current state of our countries (and the world), I can sincerely say I have never been so inclined to utter the words, but truly God save the Queen!!! I am an American. I am a Texan. I am very proud to be both. But I cannot fully express how touched I have been throughout my life by the things Her Majesty has done. I was fortunate in the early 90s to see the Queen's motorcade after she landed at Love Field in Dallas. The streets/sidewalks were lined with little British flags; we were oblivious. Then the cars began streaming through the gate and I was shocked to see Her Majesty and Prince Philip in the back seat of a limo. There they were, waving at little old nobody me. It probably dud not mean much to me then, as a 19 or 20 year old, but now, at 49 and having witnessed the events of the last 30 years, I can fully appreciate it. This few seconds, those little waves -- I know there are citizens in the UK that have/will never seen their own queen, but I did. I must say, ESPECIALLY after all her support over the years, even if we haven't always agreed, she has seen to it that we had her support. I feel privileged and honored to have caught even a glimpse of her all those years ago. If only she could live 150 years and reign throughout my lifetime. Again I say, from America, God save the Queen!! Please!!!!!!!!!
The ocean dividing America and Britain is insignificant compared to the blood and tears that unite us. No nation is more privileged, more bounteous in friends, than an ally of Her Majesty's United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Watching this brought tears to my eyes. As an American, I know we have our differences. We fought a war for independence and won. But through the years, we have become the closest of allies. We fought together in 2 World Wars and remain close to this day. God bless the people of the United Kingdom. You will forever be our friends, allies and brothers! 🇬🇧
Queen Elizabeth loved the USA. And we certainly loved her. England, once we got over out little squabbles in 1765-84 and 1812-15, has been our staunchest ally. This was our Mother Country. Our bond will never weaken. This service is an example of the Queen and country showing America support in our dark hours after 9/11.
Dont forget the diplomatic Squabbles in between 1815 and 1868. Mainly just territorial disputes, and people in the US wanting to seize Canada from the British after the Civil War since they supported the Confederacy.
@@terrybrowning-e9b I don't think so. After all, this was written during the American Civil War when young men were called on to die to make men free. It's only recently in our snowflake -infested society that we hear "Let us live to make men free." At Churchill's funeral the lyric was certainly "die."
@@Sheila02181 you are wrong. i looked it up it is as he died to make men holy, let us LIVE to make men free. and if you think about it it makes more sense to live
Why this came up today, I don’t know. But 22 years on I cry thinking about 9/11. It was a horrible day, yet so much of the world mourned with us. Thank you.
My affinity for all things British began when I was eleven years old, watching Dr. Who, Monty Python, Dave Allen at Large, Fawlty Towers, the Two Ronnie's, and many others on PBS. It was cemented by my British councillor's when I went to camp in my teenage years. We're two people separated by a common language. I had nothing but love for you then, and now at 53, I have nothing but love for you still. God bless us all.
I don't care what anyone says, I've learned a few things over the years. 1) The British are awesome for this display of camaraderie. Thanks from America! 2) Those who are arguing that America deserved this really need to learn some cultural sensitivity. The terrorist attacks on September 11th were unprecedented, and if you think otherwise then you are poorly misinformed
The attacks weren't unprecedented. It's just that war and mass death isn't familiar to Americans. Tragedies far worse than 9/11 happen all the time in war-torn regions of the world. That's not to downplay the tragedy of the 9/11 attacks, but nobody seems to care about war and terror unless Americans are killed.
@@idot3331 dude, there is a reason why we aren't familiar with war and mass death....it's because 9/11 was unprecedented. Nothing like that had ever happened before on American soil.
@@idot3331 the atrocities of evil tear this American's heart no matter where or when it took place. I feel rage and horror for the Holocaust, the slaughter of the victims of Stalin, the savage butchery of the wars when Yugoslavia shattered, the massive genocides that vile racists and zealots have poured out throughout human history, and yet 9/11 shocks me as it was out of the blue and staggering in single day losses. Yet it is again an act of evil, planned by a cabal of evil men. If it and the rest are not horrific to someone then I feel horrified by that individual.
This just made me weep, all those years ago. I was working as a brand new graduated RN and watched the smoke from the parking deck roof of a hospital in New Brunswick NJ. Remember as if it were yesterday. My childhood best friend was in a office across the street from the Twin towers and my big brother was on the path train on the way there! So many never came home again. Prayers for their souls and God's comfort to their loved ones. Thank you England. My mother's people left England 1633 and settled in America, proud of my English blood. Her grandfather fought for the union to free the slaves. This was the union army's song!
The organ playing and choir is magnificent and the congregation is equally worthy in this wonderful display of raising the rafters of the venerable old St Paul's cathedral in London. Truly a great musical show of respect for the 9/11 tragedy. Simon Johnson was the Organist and Assistant Director of Music at the service. He deserved a medal from the British and the Americans for his tasteful but powerful playing! Thanks from Canada for posting this.
Wow, 20 years later I am just seeing this for the first time. Incredibly honored by our English brethren, emotionally moved. One of our nation's most treasured songs.
He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat; He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment-seat; Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! Be jubilant, my feet!
America and Britain must always stand together...Our ancestors left Britain to build our great nation...starting with the Mayflower...we have fought each other..but we are really brothers united in blood.
Twenty-two years later, and this still brings to tears to my eyes. As an American whose parents were from the World War II/Pearl Harbor generation, this struck deep and resonant chords in my soul, even more so knowing that Queen Elizabeth was behind this memorial service to reach out to the UK's American allies in a time of pain and anger. Out present administration in Washington would do better to remember who are our real friends and allies are in this world, and with whom we most closely share ties of faith, democratic values and kinship.
Thank you, once again. We in Boston have not forgotten the massive outpouring of sympathy and support given us by the people of Britain, and we will never forget.
I’m originally from one of the colonies--Massachusetts. Thank you, Great Britain! We still think of you as the Mother Country. What a powerful statement of parenthood these memorial events of 2001 were!
This song... not only did I lose my aunt in the North Tower but a few months ago I laid my grandfather to rest with this song. This is the first time I'm listening to this song since then and it's still hitting me.
As a United States, American Patriot with 29 years of US military service. Whom will always be proud of our United Kingdom cousins. Who’ will eagerly defend both your shores and mine when ever danger comes or tyrannical factors decides to attack us!!! 🇬🇧 🇺🇸
I remember being quite numb and overwhelmed by the events of 09/11/2001. On Fri., 09/14/2001 I was working from home due to a tropical storm watch (I live in FL), and I had FoxNews on TV. There was a story of world reaction to the 911 attacks; it then showed the playing of the Star Spangled Banner at Buckingham Palace per the direction of Queen Elizabeth, because "she wanted Americans to know they have friends in the world". I was no longer numb, but moved to tears by such kindness.
This SHOULD BE our national anthem instead of the common bar tune we adopted as our "national anthem" and still hold on to it. This is so historic, so fine-sounding and sooo American! Just fit the lyrics of the Star Spangled Banner to this tune, and we will have a historic beauty
+Abigail Wise Because I'm a pedant at heart, we don't have separation of church and state, but we DO have the Establishment Clause of the First amendment. They're not the same, but The Battle Hymn of the Republic would be iffy, not to mention inappropriate historically.
+clarence spencer This is a fine anthem, but who would sing it as a dirge like this. It must be sung with strength and passion,.as is ' Land of hope and Glory' at 'The Proms''.. However on listening to the news from UK, as we do, it seems there's not much Hope there and very little Glory to sing about It breaks my heart!
+Michael Zaman actually i agree Mike. Or even "When Johnny comes marching home" (the tune that is). any of these would be better than the present one. Hurrah, hurrah for your suggestion. Just transfer the historic lyrics to one of the fabulous tunes
It makes me sad watching this, and I swear to never forget this for as long as I live. Should I ever come down with a horrible diease that makes me forget, I ask to be shot for it

"As He died to make men Holy, Let us Live to make Men Free." Has got to be the best verse of the entire Hymn besides the grapes of wrath part which was basically saying that someone was messing around and about to get a can of whoop ass.
Many of my fellow Americans are too ignorant to realize what compassion is. Many of us have become blinded by our own self-interest and never seek to look on and who never seem to care for others. However, many of us will stand with you forever. From your companion, America.
Anytime we feel divided in our own country or abroad I go and look up 9/11 tributes whether it be baseball games- or congress singing at the steps - or this- it makes me remember being 16 and feeling how together our whole world our whole country felt. We loved one another so fiercely and it brings tears to my eyes and a prayer we someday feel this way again. Sometimes I think we truly are in so many ways minus the few who just hate our institutions or find only flaws in our government. I choose to see the beauty. When the 20th anniversary came around (god I feel old) it took me right back to sophomore year, watching the tv and seeing that second plane go in. I cried and gasped in disbelief. My teacher had friends who worked in the tower. He ran out of the room to call. We were crying and frozen. The next day, we all stood for the pledge and didn’t realize we said it so LOUD and so PROUD. Our teacher pointed it out to us, that we for the first time, spoke the pledge versus just standing (too cool for school to say it before) We all looked at one another with tears in our eyes. It was truly a scary and uncertain time but beautiful in so many ways. It made me focus on history and literature which I studied and majored in at college and graduated with my bachelors. I remember like a light switch in my head, probably like how so many young and women felt when they signed up for the military after 9/11, that I wanted to consume and learn as much as I could about our government, and where we came from, who we came from, and how we came to be in detail. I just play these moments in the times of peril and strife, and it instantly fills me with nostalgia loss, but hope.
Almost 20 years later, and you got me in tears UK!! I'm from Texas but I'll never forget what happened that day. I was in the 6th grade...about 12 years old at the time. I was in class at the time. My mom was the school nurse and was in the office watching the TV. They tuned into the news after hearing about the first plane hit. They told all the teachers to not turn on the TVs in the classrooms as it would upset the younger kids. I found out after school let out what had happened. She still remembers watching the news in horror as the second plane hit. We were miles and miles away and just as scared cause we didn't know what was happening. That day, lots of parents got off of work and picked their kids up early....and I mean a lot. There was so much news about the attacks that I didn't even know that this happened. This really brought me to tears and is much appreciated even almost 20 years later!
An event you'll never forget, defining a generation. I grew up in SE Texas and remember the day President Kennedy was shot. I was in 2nd Grade, 7 years old. School let out early, and I walked the 2 blocks home. I turned on the TV (I guess I had a house key) and watched the profile picture of Kennedy as no one had words to say. Then Mom came home from work and went to her bedroom to cry. I didn't know much geography, but I knew I lived in Texas, and Dallas was in Texas, and I couldn't understand why someone in Texas would shoot our President. We Texans were all nice people.

I was barely 14 when that morning dawned. In the first few days that followed, I learned a couple of important things....firstly, that I was a patriot. Secondly, I was a member of an international community. Thirdly, I was human rights advocate. Finally, because of this broadcast, I learned that this song existed, where it came from and what it meant, not just to my country, but to me, personally, now that I identified as the above. A year later, my choir adopted this song as the official finale of our joint high-school musical performance each spring. So, thank you, Great Britain, for introducing me to something that means so much to my fellow citizens and I. God bless the USA. God Save the Queen.

The UK did more than that - The UK went to war in response to the U.S being attacked. We love our family even if we do fall out every now and then we will always stand up for our own.
As a Veteran of America, If someone ever tried to hurt the UK, I would come over there and fight side by side with you to the Death, I Love you All.
But what if the USA tried to attack Britain, lol
I love the American people but your politicians, that's a different story. Reagan and Haig seriously discussed giving Argentina sensitive military information about the Brits plans to take South Georgia in the Falklands War.
You said, man!
Right! I saw that and cried. We didn't forget them either when Manchester happened either!!

Glory, Glory Hallelujah!
Our God is Marching On!
It's actually, "His Truth is Marching On."
Final verse is 'Our God is Marching on'
Wayne Marion yeah but everywhere else in the world it's known as mine eyes have seen the glory
There is only ONE, no ours or theirs!
Plenty of illiterate, ignorant masses in the good old USA!
He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;
He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment-seat;
Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! Be jubilant, my feet!
This song is so dear to my heart ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸
America and Britain must always stand together...Our ancestors left Britain to build our great nation...starting with the Mayflower...we have fought each other..but we are really brothers united in blood.
Shut up .. those unintelligent Americans
@@An-lv9vwCough cough. Where did we get our "lack of intelligence" from? The Brittish.
Out present administration in Washington would do better to remember who are our real friends and allies are in this world, and with whom we most closely share ties of faith, democratic values and kinship.
i can’t help but to cry when i see such a beautiful display of solidarity, love, and allegiance as this. God save the queen, and God bless america.
God Bless America and God Save the Queen
AMEN
GOD BLESS US ALL
Fine thoughts. For many of us on our side of the pond England is our chief ally .
mary jane Prouty Indeed it is, spyder-buddies.
At times it seems that few grasp the incredible relationship with the US and Britain in the middle and late century which still obtains.
mary jane Prouty Yeah, especially us Germans don't grasp it...
Thank you, once again. We in Boston have not forgotten the massive outpouring of sympathy and support given us by the people of Britain, and we will never forget.
only Winston Churchill was missing.. wonderful uplifting sermon..
Now I can't help but wonder, how Winston Churchill or FDR would have reacted to 9/11?
Gob bless Sir Winston a British/American. The best of both worlds and we are joined at the hip.
richard thompson no doubt the man would be ready to go to war
They got us through WWII.
But Queen Elizabeth was there! Thank you Britain!
I’m originally from one of the colonies--Massachusetts. Thank you, Great Britain! We still think of you as the Mother Country. What a powerful statement of parenthood these memorial events of 2001 were!
As an American, I was very moved by this. Thank you for putting this video on RUclips.
Moving to see the UK standing by the side of the US in such a time of tragedy
Hopefully we will have sort of cricket season this year.
You can tell that pipe organ is a massive old beauty of a beast.
Isn’t it just beautiful.
+clarence spencer But it's so entertaining to try to get people to spell 'Anacreon in Heaven.'
also we have this whole thing known as separation of church and state....
Not gonna lie, I shed a manly tear while watching
nothing non-masculine about it
swimmer8585 me too. I love my Country. 🇺🇸
It makes me sad watching this, and I swear to never forget this for as long as I live. Should I ever come down with a horrible diease that makes me forget, I ask to be shot for it
You are allowed it's the manly thing to do ! God bless
I will never forget this.
This brings tears to my eyes. As an American I want to thank the British people and the Queen for their unwavering support and admiration for our GREAT Land. God Bless the United States of America and God save the Queen!
Here here Peyton, God bless America and our Sovereign The Queen.
This brought tears to my eyes. It is one of my favorite songs of all time. When all of the British people sung it with such determination in their voices it stirred my soul! Thank you truly.
I remember seeing this when it happened. It still warms my heart immensely to see our British cousins in such solidarity with us. May that great relationship never end.
the pride I feel for all of them sharing our pain. It’s still a comfort after all these years
Makes me cry Everytime. You guys are truely the best Ally's. May God save both of our Nation's! May we all want for now on stand in solidarity. I have a deep love and respect for you guys!
To our brothers and sisters in the U.K. we are privileged and proud to have in our corner , We stand with you united as one .
"As He died to make men Holy, Let us Live to make Men Free." Has got to be the best verse of the entire Hymn besides the grapes of wrath part which was basically saying that someone was messing around and about to get a can of whoop ass.
Nearly twenty years ago ...
And the memory of that day, and the outpouring of support from other nations, still brings tears to my eyes.
This is absolutely incredible. Thank you for posting this!
“America has no greater friend than Great Britain.” ~George W Bush 2001 ❤️
A mother singing to her child
Many of my fellow Americans are too ignorant to realize what compassion is. Many of us have become blinded by our own self-interest and never seek to look on and who never seem to care for others. However, many of us will stand with you forever. From your companion, America.
BILL
"Nobody bulls my brother, except me!"
Bill Williamson Thank you Sir, That means a lot to me and mine, God bless you.
Bill Williamson very true, brother. God Bless America and the UK. Love the name you have there too man. Gotta love Red Dead.
Bill Williamson very true, brother. God Bless America and the UK. Love the name you have there too man. Gotta love Red Dead.
Wonderful gesture indeed some 15 years later this still brings up emotions as a British Citizen in the USA!!
For as long as I live, I will never forget this moment and this gesture.
From an American, this right here is true British Class!!! With thanks and help from our older Brother!!!
We are Cousins and no one can break that ever....
Your welcome friend.
I'm watching this video and commenting on it again since today is Patriot Day!
God Save the Queen and God Bless America
Thank you for your support during our time of despair and utmost grief. From your COUSIN across the pond 🇬🇧🇺🇸🇵🇷
In the eyes of God we are all family. Please let this remain in our hearts and souls forever and ever.
This is really moving. I don't know that anyone can watch this and keep a dry eye...
You really can't!
It's 9-11-21, and I can't. God bless america.
Nothing has ever sent chills down my spine as much as this did. Truly amazing.
Americas mother country singing them their hymn in such a sorrow time. Like a mother nurturing their child after the child has gotten hurt.
God damn, this brings tears to my eyes. This means a lot to many of us Americans.
Its what family do when shit gets real, we go to war, we grief together, we fighter together, we die together, like we have done since WW1 until now like no other two countries.
