I have a lower back injury and I’ve been doing this video a few times a week to help slowly strengthen my core. Great video to help get your form correct before getting into more comprehensive work outs!
Not really a beginner with abs but I always love short routines for warmups or finishers. Enjoyed this and we sometimes don’t think about really pressing the lower back CONSISTENTLY into the mat! Thanks Maddie! ❤❤ p.s. Great instruction as always!

This workout is awesome because the exercises are simple and easy enough that I can do them with correct form and not cheat, thus I end up with a better burn than I would’ve if doing harder workout routine! Thanks for putting it together!!
Excellent workout. I loved all the moves you incorporated! I also like how you explain how to modify the moves. You also like how you remind to keep your lower back on the floor! Love all your workouts!

This is a good one for me because I have a natural pelvic tilt. It has taken me a long time to learn proper form for someone with weak lower abbs so I gave up a lot. If you are like me, only lower you legs with things like leg drops or dead bugs slightly if you back starts to arch and really think about using your abbs muscles to bring you legs back to the starting position. Squeezing your abbs and lowering your legs slightly, is better than over exerting what or your body can physically do. 😅 lots of influencers do not explain the importance of this and it’s puts people off. Thankyou for making an actual beginners video ❤

It really is a perfect beginner ab workout, and I've always admired how you strive to work each muscle and not just the "cool" ones. Re-Starting my fitness journey today. This was tough for me coming out of not working out for a couple months but I will try this 3 times a week til it gets easier. I tend to have pain in my lower back to butt region whenever I do abs.
After having Covid last week and not working out for 3 weeks due to vacation, sickness and helping my other in law move, I needed to get back in without over doing since my energy level is only about 70% of what it was, this was great! It was jsut hard enough to challenge me and not waste my time but not enough to kill me!

love you Maddie, I've falling off my workout wagon and have been having a super hard time getting back into it, but I always know that I can come here for a quick fun workout

I did t25 before and I’m So tired of the excessive crazy workouts sometimes it’s discouraging especially starting from scratch def will be doing this 2 times a day and more on great days definitely not going to miss a day this was amazing!! Thank you u made it so soothing and encouraging
I started on a simple five minute workout routine and for the first few days I was in so much pain from working those abs but now after the next few days I didn't feel much of anything so I moved up slowly to a harder routine like this where I do ten minutes instead of just five and the same thing. It's always good to alternate between sets so you can make sure your feeling it at the end of the day and know it's working. I'm not someone who usually works out like this but it's not that bad after the first weak and it only seems to get easier with time unless you challenge yourself to something more difficult.
Thank you for this short beginner workout❤ I'm very much into running (up to 38km) but my upper body muscles and core are WEAK. I cant talk myself into long workouts because running already takes a lot of time and thats my priority. I really do want to make a habit of training abs/core/back/arms too.. Im thinking full body with weights once a week and short workouts like this one a few times after my runs.
Thanks for the beginners workout, this is good for me since I can't do your strenuous workouts (no spring chicken 🤣)-So far these last two will be a plus for me.
Thanks for this! Been following for a while but am now postpartum and find it hard to find the time! Short videos like this make it easier to do something to ease my way back in
Your workouts are amazing!!! Love your Chanel! I have been doing a workout with you almost everyday for 3 weeks. Already seeing definition in my arms and abs. Thank you!!!
I love this! Going to do this workout today. After quitting smoking ive gained a lot of weight, so its time to start working out a bit more. Already almost got my front splits thanks to your video from a long time ago (only a few cm left to go). Now its time to gain some muscle and if this workout works as good as the front split one im sure we will get this done too. 😁
I just tried this workout & it's perfect. The pace is just right but the one thing that I thought would be helpful in future workouts especially for beginners is how to apply the breathing techniques when doing these workouts.

I did t25 before and I’m
So tired of the excessive crazy workouts sometimes it’s discouraging especially starting from scratch def will be doing this 2 times a day and more on great days definitely not going to miss a day this was amazing!! Thank you u made it so soothing and encouraging
This exercise is good for my back. Thank you. After 2 weeks of doing this daily I don't see any changes. I do sweat but nothing changes.
I love all your videos!!! They are so helpful!!!💕💕💕
Thank you for taking the time to correctly explain the positions.
Thanks for the beginners workout, this is good for me since I can't do your strenuous workouts (no spring chicken 🤣)-So far these last two will be a plus for me.
Definitely beginner-style with a few longer rests, but still a great ab workout! I still felt the burn! Thanks for another A+ 10 minute core workout!
loved it getting back into shape I use to be a synchro swimmer 15 years ago and want to get back into it thanks so much for this work out
Wonderful workout Maddie. It's the first ab workout that I was able to fully complete. Thanks 😊
Thank you for this workout! I finally understand the true meaning of an “engaged core”.
Thanks for this! Been following for a while but am now postpartum and find it hard to find the time! Short videos like this make it easier to do something to ease my way back in
Oh my goodness. I live the beginner abs. I feel they target my abs so much more since it's slow and controlled. 😊
Thank you so much! This is a perfect beginners video.
I haven’t done abs in a while, this was a great way to work my way back, thank you
Hi. I liked the workout. It was really good for someone who is getting back into developing abs or someone who is new trying to exercises their abs.:)
Thank you for always explaining proper technique 💯💯✊🏾
I just tried this workout & it's perfect. The pace is just right but the one thing that I thought would be helpful in future workouts especially for beginners is how to apply the breathing techniques when doing these workouts.
thank you so much for explaining each exercise, I am begginner and i need a leader like you 🤍
Did this workout three times with a 2 min rest in between each. Amazing pace ❤
Maddie this was amazing 🤩
Great loved it, I skipped the gym today so had to get something in 🙈
I am doing this 'no excuse!' 10 min ab workout everyday and adding it to my daily other routines (running or tennis). It's making a difference!
I loved this! My abs are burning right now
