This shows an issue with recording using headphones and no amp. You can't get the interaction between the amp/speakers and guitar to get infinite sustain without the aid of vibrato or any outside tricks or tools.
Bravo! Celui qui n'essaye pas ne réussira jamais. Quelle grosse pointure tu as chaussée! excellent!!!!! tu as mis beaucoup d'heures pour en arriver là.
Hi tks for your comment! No tab (unfortunately) this is my version to replicate by ear. Quite affordable in the first section while in the final part i put a little more improvvisation
Sto studiondo questo assolo seguendo il tuo perché è il più simile di tutti quelli che ho ascoltato su youtube mi sfugge solo la parte da 2:10 a 2:15 davvero impressionante complimenti ;)
I keep seeing comments like: "pretty close man". What if he didnt intend to play an exact copy of the original, but instead free flow his own interpretation? Id say this sounds markably better that the original, even the original is superb. Hat off to this wonderful talented musician who for some reason I never hear on my radio.
Finally a nice cover, pretty close, still need to practice just a bit but very good, I wish I could play this solo :( I'm just a fan and I can't find the tab :(
hai solo un modo per imparare certe canzoni devi usare l'orecchio, purtroppo è lunica però quando ce la farai, oltre alle madonne, tirerai giu tutti i soli del mondo
you have only one way to learn songs like this you have to use your hears, that's the only way... but when you will get it, you will earn a lot of money
I think, I just think the proper way to begin the solo is to play the highest E on 2nd string, using swell volume technique and bend it to G, then release it to F# and E, then slide not. I don't hear a pick or termination in the solo, it's smooth. But of course, it's real hard.
My first thought was an eBow, although (as an eBow user myself) something about it doesn't sound exactly like an eBow tone. Digging around I found this video from the engineer who recorded the solo: ruclips.net/video/2-ekY6X19UM/видео.html. In the comments, he explains that Govan used a "LaRose sustainer" for that track (and, amazingly, that it was the 1st take of Govan's first try with that guitar). I'm not sure what a "Larose sustainer" is, but the Sustainiac web site lists LaRose Guitars as one of its dealers, and the LaRose Guitars site shows some one of their guitars (ClassicJazz) with a Sustainiac, so I'd guess he used a LaRose guitar with a Sustainiac in it.
Sounds are from Bias FX Plugin: I tried to select hi-gain amp with boost in front of it. This strat-style guitar has MAMA Pickups that are really tone full.
Hi many thks for your feedback!! all the guitar has Mama Pickups and the effect is a Rig from Positive Plug in: not really customized. the chain is: boost+overdrive+ high gain amp+reverb in the end. The tricky thing is to make the sound feedbacking in the first part of the solo.
Zyphon he plays harmonics to get that crystalin sound, excepted he plays it on a note. So the harmonic you play for example when you lightly touch above the 12th fret on an open string, you can find those spots when you press down a case. But since you only have one hand, the other busy pressing the case you have to do both with the right hand, so picking and tapping lightly or tapping directly at the right spot.

One of my fav solos, very beautiful played! :)
That solo makes me want to install a sustainer!
Dont need either if you're in front of an amp that can sing. The ebow is nice for airy flute like sounds, though

Pretty close there.. Are you playing this in a different key? Or have you tuned your guitar down?
What pedals did you use
Nicely done!, Whats your equipment?
Lucho Graterol hi thank RUclips feedback. The Guitar is a Bruno Traverso Joy dire model. Sounds are directly Made By Bias Positive grid fx app

I think guthrie did it with some kind of sustainer
Sherly Nisix he used an e bow originally, doing the solo without one is an insane feat

insane vid!!
can you plz tell me how can I get that tone?
vishruti joshi ho it is from bias fx positive grid app
Nice cover. Do you have tab?
Rob Holley ho no tab unfortunately...all done By Ears
How did you get this tone and sustain with a strat?
Sounds are from Bias FX Plugin: I tried to select hi-gain amp with boost in front of it. This strat-style guitar has MAMA Pickups that are really tone full.
Killer playing and beautiful tone! Could you tell me which pickups you have, specially the bridge one? And which effect did you use here. Please :)

The tricky thing is to make the sound feedbacking in the first part of the solo.
What do you do to get the sustain in the intro of the solo? I'm new to guitar and seeing someone play this solo so well is quite inspiring!

duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude that was epic !! where did you get the tab !!
thks a lot! all done by ear no tab unfortunately!
Ste Guitar you have a very good ear sir.
pretty close.. still great

Not bad. You need an E-Bow for the first part though...

@@TLMuse other notable users of Sustainiac is Synyster Gates. Worth mentioning.
awesome , but imagine being the creator and not the copier ?
lol. try better next time
