You know, before I watched this video, I knew something was up with your Raptor and I had no idea you color-matched the fenders until you mentioned it. I think its a great look!
The only thing I modded on my raptor is fog lights and did the rear wheel wells this truck don’t really need anything else it’s beautiful the way it comes
I love my AMP research steps... i added a kill switch so i can leave them down when washing, or up when offroading. I haven't had issues with them freezing up in the ND winters. But I did have issues with slush and ice building up and making it to heavy to pull back up to the body. I just scraped off the slush and ice and no problems. Ive had mine for over 8 years now, no issues, well worth the money!
Great looking Raptor. I myself love that color the best. I would paint the flares, black wheels, tires and remove the steps too. Besides that I would add a kick ass sound system because I want to take my truck to México to visit my family and music is part of our life and so are trucks. Great mods though some of them are a personal taste but overall it looks way more aggressive yet refined. The Raptor is a Super Truck that can easily be sold for super car money, it truly is that capable at what it does that it deserves such label
This truck is absolutely beautiful. I am really sorry to see you selling it. I doubt next owner will take a better care of it then you did/do. Stay strong
The front is awesome.... For those who know... Appreciate it. For those who don't know, it doesn't matter. I can't afford the front bumper and will just upgrade my XLT to a stock raptor grill. We all have our struggles. The off axis turning in the back and stability you should look into air bags. Great idea to soften the ride and to gain handing performance in the rear.
Important thing to note is that the tint doesn't effect the radar detector only because of the kind of tint it is. It needs to be ceramic for it to NOT effect a radar detector!
Damn this raptor is legit; balls to the wall in mods but tastefully configured. I'm a big fan of this thing and I would be interested in seeing footage of it being tuned however unicorn e92 m3 is equally appealing. Loving the content Matt keep it up!
My thing has been the older Ford trucks for a long time, so the newer body styles have never really registered with me and especially the Raptors. That said, the way you set this truck up is very well done and makes it look good. Only thing I'd change, and you even talked about it, is the front bumper. I'd have left the OE one on. BTW - with as many truck shows as I attend, the "rhinestone jeans" description was so on point that I found myself laughing...
Amp research released dual motor sidesteps for that exact reason got em on my brothers 2019 Ram and no issues of sticking or freezing over plus added insurance of if one motor goes out the other pulls it’s weight
My white 2018 super cab raptor has never been washed. Its been damned dirty, but sooner or later it rains. Have a little green algae in some of the body seams. Pain was and almost is flawless, some vague brush scrapes in clear coat. No mods at all, it is great the way I ordered it. It has everything except the carbon fiber junk and sun roof. I never opened the sun roof on my previous 150, a Platinum crew cab. It is really muddy right now, but it is raining and I will drive home from work in pouring rain and it will be clean enough to head to Canaan Valley this weekend to refresh the mud. Oh, and the optional front axle is GREAT!
I thought about amp research powered steps on my Raptor but realizing how effective the stock steps are at preventing inept careless drivers when parking and exiting from the heaps from swinging their car doors at my truck, those turkeys can watch their doors get damaged on the extra rough powered coated stock steel step edge...
LOOKS CLEAN BRO.. I WANTED THOSE STEPS...BUT DECIDED TO KEEP THE OG... IT HELPS WITH PARKING...LOL WHEN PPL PARKED NEXT TO ME AND OPEN THE DOOR... THE SIDE STEPS STOPS THE DOOR FROM DIGGING MY TRUCK...HAHA
Factory exhaust sounds as good as you're going to get. Good advice there. I'm not a big fan of the color matched flares, but that's just personal preference. I'm also not too into the front end... I'm fine with the stock one on that. But I like the wheels / tires and the ride height and all of that. I enjoyed the video.
Installed Borla ATAK exhaust on my ‘17 Raptor and that is good as you’re going to get! I drive the hell out it like it should be driven and like to hear what the engine is doing. Married up a Roush CAI with it and it’s all music to my ears on and off road. Many 4get that this is an OFF Road vehicle and Ford Performance paid a lot of attention to detail with that in mind. If you want a high end truck designed purely for the pavement, get the new Limited and personalize it with the “pretty” truck mentality that still performs well.
Only mod I would do is RPG Bump/Brace kit and would consider is Deavers +2(stock height)... I like the rake... I like the look of that ADD bumper and ADD has a new one that does not require frame cutting and relocating different intercooler, but good with stock bumper with Baja Designs Fog Pocket lights in place... no paint matching wheel arches... no window tinting... no tune... your truck came out nice, but I think the RPG Bumpstop/Brace kit was unnecessary since you were not planning to ever take it off-roading.
Tint is a must here in Florida! I have lumars 5% on my sides and back. Front have a clear tint with a 5% strip. There are some great exhaust options for the raptor.
Tonneau cover - the Bakflip MX4 version has a different seal at the tailgate to the Ford version, so you can close the tailgate with the cover in place.
If those side steps are anything like the ones on my Harley Davidson F-150 (which they look identical) there should be an “Always Down Mode” you can set it to 🤙 other wise. Nice Truck
Should have left the gloss black grill. It looks killer in that blue. The back Appliqué looks awesome. That thing is giddy ugly too. Did they take the rail gate thing off to paint it?
Why was it about 9k to do the bumper and intercooler upgrade? Isn't the bumper like 1500 and intercooler 1300 plus 250 for the bracket to relocate sensor so that would put you at about 4500 with install? I'm about to do this exact modification so trynna get a good understanding. Thanks!
I like everything, except the color matched fenders. Prefer those to be OEM black. Same way with Jeep Wranglers - prefer the black versus painted; looks more rugged than luxury that way and also serves the purpose of absorbing rocks or nicks without worrying about pain chips.
Thank you for so many quality videos! Sorry if I’ve missed it, but have you come to any conclusions about Dr Beasley’s Nano Pro? I’m considering using the line myself, but it’s hard to find any feedback.
If you don’t mind me asking, what do for work that allows you to afford the truck and all of the expensive modifications? I’m asking because I graduate from college soon and will be looking for a new job shortly thereafter. I’m hoping to get a Raptor in a few months, and want to make some mods as well. Thank you!
One of the best looking Rapper I have seen, n u did a very good job on the video 👍, ps i can here u say aaaaa he gave me a thumbs up mojo im not that guy 😆
Is there a module or a hack to lock the rear differential in 2wd? I test drove a Raptor with intention to but but was very disappointed ( didn't buy it ). The E-LSD is extremely slow to respond and with all TC off its a one wheel peel machine. I know there is no aftermarket LSD available..
Do you get any rub with those tires at all? I want the same wheel and tire combo but I don't want to have any issue with rubbing on front bumper or back of wheel well. Hope you have an answer for that so I can pull the trigger and order the same wheel and tire combo.
I didn't have any rubbing with them even before I did the leveling kit and rear suspension. They are really close in overall diameter to the stock 17s.
You should start buying all sorts of cars, giving them the "OG" treatment, selling them and making some money for yourself! The truck is legit, as was the S2K!
I can definitely see an "OG" spec being a thing in the future and have a great reputation for it, dare I say something like RWB and Porsches. Extreme example I know, but I hope that paints the right picture. You know there's gotta be other people out there who would love your setups.
All you need now are the Carbon Fiber Hood and Fender Vents and Door Pillars. Too bad you're selling it. I consider that the do it all vehicle. I love mine. I'd sell the white one and keep that one. It looks way better.
Hahaha only names Northern states when he’s talking about cold weather?! How about us up in northern Alberta where it‘ gets wayyyy colder 🤣 my power running boards have yet to freeze even in minus -30
AMP research installation and user manual (last page) describes the feature to manually set the deployed step, by using your foot to firmly hold the step out when closing the door and this allows you to access the roof...
All those mods and havent tuned it. My man 510 wheel hp and 900plus torque doesn't get you wet and motivate you I'm not sure what will. But why is the question?
Good day/evening from Canada, great videos. Definitely have my attention on the Deaver leaf springs. The issue is that you have to buy the springs from Deevers, send out somewhere to have them coated, then sent back to Deevers for reassembly. At least I think that's the process. You'd want to call RPG to ask them how they have it done. I never headed down that path.

Seriously the nicest, cleanest Raptor I’ve ever seen. If I had one this is almost exactly what it would be.
Your Raptor by far is the best looking Raptor I have seen. Hopefully you change your mind and keep it.
I love my AMP research steps... i added a kill switch so i can leave them down when washing, or up when offroading. I haven't had issues with them freezing up in the ND winters. It would be great with a legit audio upgrade.
This truck is absolutely beautiful. I am really sorry to see you selling it. I doubt next owner will take a better care of it then you did/do. Stay strong

Going to miss seeing this beauty on the channel, but looking forward to the inevitable "dialing in" series of a used BMW!
Wow I love the way that thing sits Matt!
This is a sleeping video. I fell asleep watching this.......
Invasion I sleep to all his vids lol
agree 100% smh
The bugs and nature sounds probably add to it…
No 🧢

Very Clean Mods, Great Video. I will miss this truck on your channel. I love my 20 18 Raptor.
I´m 6´8 and the first mod on my Raptor was AMP Power Step. It is so much easier for tall people to get in & out.
Love your truck. Especially the color.
Thanks for the walk thru of the mods!
I like the gloss black.
Great truck, upgrades, color make the total package really nice...you are blessed to have it...I would keep it...Kent, Texasroper
I thought about amp research powered steps on my Raptor but realizing how effective the stock steps are at preventing inept careless drivers when parking and exiting from the heaps from swinging their car doors at my truck, those turkeys can watch their doors get damaged on the extra rough powered coated stock steel step edge...
Personally a fan of stock cars with only OEM dealer modifications
LOOKS CLEAN BRO.. I WANTED THOSE STEPS...BUT DECIDED TO KEEP THE OG... IT HELPS WITH PARKING...LOL WHEN PPL PARKED NEXT TO ME AND OPEN THE DOOR... THE SIDE STEPS STOPS THE DOOR FROM DIGGING MY TRUCK...HAHA
JOJI KIM that’s awesome I hadn’t thought about that. Lol nice to give careless a holes some payback.
I just purchased a 2019. I like the stick running boards for protection from door dings.
Yeah, Wisconsin baby!!!!!
The quality/ angles of this video is out of this world. Hopefully there’s more to come like this. 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks to Kyle for shooting this with limited gear. Just wait until you see what we have planned.
Factory exhaust sounds as good as you're going to get. Good advice there. I'm not a big fan of the color matched flares, but that's just personal preference. I'm also not too into the front end... When you get into your wife's Gen 1 you most say "Ah, V8 sounds". Love the Gen 2 but not a fan of the 6 cylinder sound. BUT....she's a beauty!
That is exactly what I think.
Only mod I would do is RPG Bump/Brace kit and would consider is Deavers +2(stock height)... I like the rake... these mod vids are great, thx, esp for someone who either has or wants a Raptor. love that blue too !
Thanks Dave!
Beautiful truck. I think the white letters on the tires would add a real nice look.
i stopped watching at 1:12
Tint is a must here in Florida! I have lumars 5% on my sides and back. Front have a clear tint with a 5% strip. There are some great exhaust options for the raptor.
There are lots of options, but all they do is amplify the not so good sound.
Awesome channel and Video of the Raptor. I'm sort of a Raptor connoisseur myself. New Sub here man. 👍
Nice!
Sad to see this thing go. Someone is going to get a hell of a deal. It will probably be sold by the end of the week.
Tonneau cover - the Bakflip MX4 version has a different seal at the tailgate to the Ford version, so you can close the tailgate with the cover in place.
I love the build man, Im getting this exact spec.
Robert Lutz you can probably buy it from him when he finds his E92
I think a front bumper which was lightly chunkier and not quite as skinny it would look great, but overall it's better then stock.
The kiss of death before the vehicle is sold!!
Ha, ha... Exit interview coming.
My factory tint is starting to peel, the car is only 5 years old. Thats the Australian weather for you!
That is not factory tint its aftermarket the dealer must have put it on if the car is brand new
Great video, thanks.
Still the cleanest Raptor build out there. OE Plus.
I wouldn't change a thing on that truck except MAYBE the front bumper. That thing is definitely dialed in.
cant change it now since the frame horns have been hacked back
Excellent build sir.... Just picked up my 18 Raptor from getting my flairs color matched next suspension.
you're 6.2? and the truck is still taller than you? dude, that's a big lift! nice, I love the raptor!
So this is an exit video ? Lol
Ha, ha... It might be.
If those side steps are anything like the ones on my Harley Davidson F-150 (which they look identical) there should be an “Always Down Mode” you can set it to 🤙 other wise. Nice Truck
Bummed to see this potentially go. Hopefully that means more gen 1 content?
It will be nice if they put the new 7.3 in the next Raptor
I wish this was like facebook and I could put a love emoji.
CVPI FANATIC will never happen they won't put 8 back into raptors
Not my cup of tea for my Raptor. Some good info about the devers, would like to know the version you ended up going with.
On Gen 1 and Gen 2, leveling kit in the front, remove rubber block from back, and do Deevers +3.
I had that exact same spot on my truck in Leadfoot.Just polished out and it was fine.
Mine was spongy and needed to be repaired and filled.
Next video: and the car is gone!
*truck
Its already sold.
Much better towing rig?
Incredible detail to your vid. Nicely done!!
At 0:1 I was sleeping
Raptor definitely would looked sampler and more fitting without the rear "appliqué"!
Should have left the gloss black grill. It looks killer in that blue. The back Appliqué looks awesome. That thing is giddy ugly too. Did they take the rail gate thing off to paint it?
"I don't want to amplify crap"... LOL!
Thanks!
Awesome color raptor ! Thanks for the video!
I really love that front bumper! 👌

What do you think of the raptor S by Salomondrin? Would something like that fit in with your lifestyle? Is something you would ever consider
Amazing truck!
Thank you for so many quality videos! Sorry if I’ve missed it, but have you come to any conclusions about Dr Beasley’s Nano Pro? I’m considering using the line myself, but it’s hard to find any feedback.

Matt is someone helping you film? Seems next level lately
Around the 3:00 mark you can see a few other people's reflection in the headlights. You can see one guy filming the b-roll stuff.
You can also see at 17:50 there are 2 other people in the paint reflection
Do you get any rub with those tires at all? I want the same wheel and tire combo but I don't want to have any issue with rubbing on front bumper or back of wheel well. Hope you have an answer for that so I can pull the trigger and order the same wheel and tire combo.

@@ObsessedGarage Thanks for the response. I'm ordering these right now.
Any issues with cruise control due to changing the front bumper?
You should start buying all sorts of cars, giving them the "OG" treatment, selling them and making some money for yourself! The truck is legit, as was the S2K!
The making money part is the hard one here. I keep losing a bunch of money on each one of them.

Do you think you would go with the 2020 Raptor with GT500 motor?
He literally bought another car while im watching this video. Lol love this guy
Update: Still watching and now hes offering raptor lol i might buy
Done watching. Please keep and tune it.
Boom!
Obsessed Garage 😂inevitable 💨💨
I think if you would go with Matte Black that could've look also good.
Factory front bumper without a doubt
All you need now are the Carbon Fiber Hood and Fender Vents and Door Pillars. Too bad you're selling it. I consider that the do it all vehicle. I love mine. I'd sell the white one and keep that one. It looks way better.

I like your style. Subscribed
Nice!
Hahaha only names Northern states when he’s talking about cold weather?! How about us up in northern Alberta where it‘ gets wayyyy colder 🤣 my power running boards have yet to freeze even in minus -30
Would you recommend painting the fender flares on a race red 2018 raptor with same wheels and tires, or do you think it would look weird?
I think that would look great.
Hey Matt, if you don’t mind me asking, what short Antenna did you install on this truck?
Did you ever have any issues with the lumar Ctx? I hear you could have issues with cellular reception
I've never had a problem.
Wide hip slender look .. you just described and good looking gal lol
Take a shot every time he says “stout”
"I'm not offroading in this thing".
Goodbye
Soooo,,,,,who’s your Shrink?
AMP research installation and user manual (last page) describes the feature to manually set the deployed step, by using your foot to firmly hold the step out when closing the door and this allows you to access the roof...
Front bumper and intercooler run about $3k total, how did you get up to $9k for the upgrade? $6k in labor or am I missing something?!
New intercooler, labor, relocation and bracket for speed sensor. It's $9,000ish with labor and light. I didn't get the lights.
Hey Matt, do you recall if you put on the Deaver +3 Standard Duty (SD) springs or were they the +3 Heavy Duty (HD) springs?
They were SD, I believe. Part of the RPG stage 3 package.
All those mods and havent tuned it. My man 510 wheel hp and 900plus torque doesn't get you wet and motivate you I'm not sure what will. But why is the question?
Fog lights?
where are you from and what shop did your body fender paint match?
Orlando area. Ultimate Auto fixed it.
Definitely looks good buddy. You still have it?
I don't. I sold it last year.
@@ObsessedGarage Darn. You still have a bunch of cool stuff though. HA! Wish you lived closer so we could take our Porsches out.
Sad ,,,,,, ya turned a brilliant off road vehicle into a street car.
Good day/evening from Canada, great videos. Definitely have my attention on the Deaver leaf springs. Roads are pretty bad were I work, and the Raptors rear end definitely comes alive going around bends in the road(potholes etc). So I’m going to upgrade my 2018. You were saying something about DLC coating? Is that something that has to be applied just over top of the whole leaf spring assembly? Or does the whole assembly have to be disassembled leafs apart from one another then coated? Then reassembled. You were saying it’s not that bad??? I’m keeping it all original ride height.
