- I've created this in depth FULL BODY stretching routine for much greater flexibility! This works for dancers, gymnasts, cheerleaders, figure skaters, fitness lovers, yogis, ANYONE!!
I wanted to give you guys some different variations so you don't have to do the same old routine every time : ) This routine is NOT for beginners!
Make sure to warm up before the video! I recommend doing 150 jumping jacks.

I love how this is actually FULL body stretching, not 13 minutes of legs/hips and the last 2 minutes basic back stretching. I actually feel fully stretched after this. Thanks for this amazing routine!!

I remember doing this 2 years ago,i did it everyday and it stopped being painful.But after a year I stopped,I couldn’t force myself to do anything and I didn’t want to even get up and wash my face.I still feel that way but today,when I was scrolling I saw one of ur videos and it reminded me of times when I was full of energy and determined.It made me want to return that “me”.I just want to say thank you,every your video motivates me to do something with my life :)

I've also been doing this routine every day in quarantine:) it's helping me a lot not to lose flexibility and I've even gotten a lot more flexible.

wow im not even close to this level. im a dancer and i can't even sit up straight with my legs out without my hamstrings screaming at me
:( i recently started doing alivia's beginner routine every single day. sometimes it feels like I'll never be able to touch my chest to my knees like everybody else. it just feels like ill always have tight hamstrings and I'll never be able to do my splits or even do a pike. but im trying not to lose hope and believing that every day will get me a step close to getting that perfect pike or perfect split like all of you beautiful people and alivia. pray for me guys 💗

You WILL get it. Push past your limits (not to where it's painful) and DONT QUIT. You got this! Every night before bed, I do Alivia or Anna McNulty's streching routine. You got this.

you can do this!!!!
you will most likely get your split first then your pike but i dont stretch my hamstrings because im not really focusing on my hamstrings right now i will start my stretching rountine on November 1st and I was supposed to start October 1st but then i got a cold so im waiting to get back to normal so i can do it fully and then im doing gymnastics so yeah just go at your own pace and you will be fine but dont go to slow like stretching once a month like i used to before i started gymnastics
I'd say the key is warmth and warming up your hamstrings before the pike etc.
I sometimes used a warm bottle to massage the back of my legs (using like a foam roller) to warm up the muscles and relaxing them even further. I am very unflexible but this trick actually helped and I didn't get that much muscle soreness afterwards :-)

pro tip: If any of you already have your splits but they hurt a TON, try stretching your oversplits (Even if you dont go much lower then your normal split) and that will make the pain in your regular splits go down by a landslide. :)

Girl I’ve been following your beginner stretch routine for months and it was getting way too easy...... THIS IS Exactly what I’ve been needing!! You are my favorite flexibility *coach* and I just wanted to say how much you’ve helped me- I’m able to do both my right and left splits ( still can’t get my scorpion for some reason ) but I can do handstand and working on my front and back walkover! Honestly I feel so much stronger and like.. ready for more... like the grit thing you e said in older videos.. so thank you ;!

There are many instructors online with different methods of stretching myself included and you can use my safe tutorials, I've been splitting for years and I have never been injured. experience at the end of the day counts
I actually did this entire stretch because I had lost most of my flexibility so I've been stretching lately and I'm just starting dance again because I stopped for 2 years due to my foot and I've been dancing since I was 2 and this stretch really helped thx!

I have literally been working on my middle splits for 3 months now the 1st month and half I was not consistent but every since September I have remained consistent and I have started seeing progress . I am so close I can feel it ,(Literally ;in terms of pain ) I just hope everyone trying to achieve a flexibility trick/ stretch will get there and remember If it doesn't challenge you it won't change you

I came to this to use as a deep stretch before a workout. And let’s just say I think this was my workout. I’m tingly lol. But what saddens me the most is that I used to pride myself on my flexibility and now I see that I have really lost some of it after graduating high school (ergo not being on the dance team dancing and stretching every day) and I am really inspired to get my flexibility back. So I will be continuing to use this. Thank you Alivia you always come through

I just wanted to say that I absolutely LOVE this mini split routine in this video. I've always had problems with leaning lower in my split and I've always been inches from the ground and felt that I wasn't improving anymore. Now I've improved :D

-3 In the middle of the routine I started laughing because I cannot believe how good my straddle/splits are today! 😂I am almost in the ground in the frog position
-4 Left splits hurting, knees hurting from middle splits
-5 ouch my harmstrings! maybe I should start triying oversplits

7-YASS I SURVIVED THE OVERSPLITS EASILY!

-9 WFT 15 cm or less in my middle splits, yesterday i did the middle split stretching routine and somehow went from 30 cm to 15 cm
10- Had to stop in the middle of the routine, my hips are really really sore! 😯 They just don't stop hurting, and it has been almost a week since I did the middle splits routine but still hurts
11- Days go by and the pain doesn't go away... so I'm back stretching but with alternatives, my straddle still hurts, my front right split still hurts however my pike and hip flexor doesn't ¿? I've also overstretched my back aftee so many days without legs... auch

This is a bit late but if you aren't warming up before this video then that's why it's painful! Before doing intensive stretches always warm up - for example jumping jacks or running on the spot. If it feels like a good pain then that means you are doing the right thing and it is working. I hope this helped!
@@jaimiedelittle1873 Sorry, I forgot to write that I stretch after 40 min of working out legs/arms/core and I warm up before so I thing that is not the problem😕 Thanks for the suggestion tho, I've seen lots of comments complaining about why they are able to split a day and not another ones, and that is the absolute reason. Stretching without being warmed up can lead to really serious injury! (And it seems that overstretching too)
Alivia is great but I feel like she should stress more that you should not push past your limits to the point that it hurts badly because it can be dangerous.

this is by far my favorite full body stretch video ever. i love how the splits are all held for a minute, the front splits even have different variations to them while stretching. i also love how she added “warm up” stretches to prepare you for a middle split, it makes a huge difference, i’ve even gotten my middle splits from it. there are just so many aspects to this video making it easily my favorite. the motivational messages, it really got me through my middle split as that’s the most challenging split to me. i love u alivia

For the past 3 years Alivia has been my go to for follow along stretching routines. I've always taken so much pride in my flexibility but after the color guard season ended in fall 2020, I stopped stretching. Life got busy and I lost my motivation for it. Lately I've noticed how much of my flexibility I've lost and I started being unkind to myself because of it. So today has started my flexibility journey. Ive always wanted to be able to have all 3 splits and be able to do a needle. So here we go. Day one I have a flat right split, and an almost to the ground left and middle but still a lot of work to do. Im not close to a needle, I can do a pretty good scorpion but my back isn't flexible enough for a needle. But I want it and im gonna work for it. Let's do this, Alivia!

honestly alivia ur stretching videos are the only ones that have ever workef for me. i did ur leg flexibility stretches thing for a year and i got super happy with my leg flexibility but then i injured my hamstring and stop dancing for 2 years. i just came across this a week ago and im already almost where i was before my injury!

There are people that were born very flexible, and there are people born with regular flexibility, but I, even when I was little couldn’t bend my wrists back, my shoulders and knees. I was just born with -100 flexibility😂 I’ve worked so hard on my splits, back flexibility, and yet I can just about get into my front right splits... I can do a bridge, and it’s not my back that hurts, it’s my wrists. It’s the worst thing ever, but I’m determined to get more flexible and work on my wrist flexibility. I’ve being doing your stretch routine for a week now, and I am in love!! I hope I can archive my goals one day! Thank you so much❤️❤️

I used to do this 2 years ago? Don’t quite remember but doing this now brings back tons of nostalgia. 2020 was a rollercoaster and I didn’t exercise nor stretch much. In result, I lost some flexibility and core strength. It’s alright though! 2021, i’m regaining it all and coming stronger!
