I LOVE U SO MUCH do you know you gave me courage when I first watched you I was like okay I'm not going to give up and I'm going to be who I want to be and guess what now I can do the splits I can do the needle all most close and other tricks I am so thankful than you so much😭😭❤❤ my main goal is the medal splits which I am a little close thx to your amaizing videos !!
"The pain you feel today is just weakness leaving your body, and it will be the strength you feel tomorrow." I think that is the best piece of advice I've ever heard.
Dear people who don't have all three splits: instead of attempting an oversplit, just do the split again. Doing an oversplit when you don't have a split will just damage your knees. X
i did this everyday for 3 months and here is my progress in a nutshell: i couldn’t touch the floor. my legs weren’t straight. it hurt a lot. i couldn’t breathe while doing the stretches. my body was sore. my legs felt pain the following days after doing it and it lasted for weeks. but even with the pain and struggle i still did it every day (with rest days bc those days are very important as well). and now i can do both right and left splits, i can lay on my back, grab my left and right foot, and pull it back all the way, and i’m so close to getting my middle splits.. my point is i can do every stretch in this video almost perfectly. i want whoever reading this to use my progress as their motivation to keep chasing after their goal. if you want to be flexible, why haven’t you started? it’s never too late. make that desire become a reality, i believe in you
nehir yılmaz. i’m currently 16 years old. i was naturally more flexible than an average level of flexibility a person but it was never anything too special. so it really was just my dedication and patience that got me to where i am now :)
So many more people need to see this comment like that is dedication!! Even though you felt pain and felt like giving up, you still did the stretches and looked toward your goal! You have definitely gave me the motivation to do this and get flexible! Thank you and you did great! Great work! Please don't ever give up! You can do it!
when I was a kid I was very flexible and did all kinds of sports but as I got to my teens I became very depressed and ended up quitting all the things I was doing (gymnastics being one of them) and I ended up just no confidence in myself, I wanted to die, went through years of drug abuse and living on the streets. Fastforward 10 years Im 3 years sober and just had a baby. I still lack confidence in myself, so I find it hard to start exercising because I always compare myself to how I used to be flexible blah blah blah I just get discouraged easily. Anyway this video is just what I needed. it pretty much brought me to tears and were exactly the words I needed to hear for the past few years so THANK YOU 💜
I love how she did this in real time, I hate those videos where they say “do this for 2 minutes” and they only show you ten seconds of them doing it. So I really appreciate these tutorials.
Especially the last exercise, right? She just bend space and time, and thats why she was in oversplit for 30 seconds, not that video is in slow motion (about 1/8 normal speed). Even though - great work and nice job.
Guys please dont give up. I have been stretching for 6 months and i finally got my right splits with my hips squared. Being unflexible is such a bitch so lets get flexible together. FIGHTING!
Sorry to discourage yall but shortly after I wrote this I stopped stretching because I didnt have time to anymore and now Im back where I first started.
Things I have achieved in 3 months by this streching routine 1. Right splits 2. Middle splits 3. Left splits 4. Hamstring 5. Scorpion 6. Full lunge 7. Over splits 8. Tilt 9. Right Leg hold 10. Left leghold 11. Firebird 12. Cartwheel 13. One handed cartwheel Thank you Alivia for helping me ☺
@@anitagupta169 try your best never give up. When I was 5 yrs old I started going to taikwondo classes. I became really flexible but then when I turned 7 I quit going to taikwondo. I lost all my flexibility. Some months ago I was' nt even able to do splits. One of my cousin sister she was showing her flexibility in family gatherings after that I realised how much flexibility I have lost. I tried to regain it I started watching alivia d Andrea, Anna mcnulty, soffi dossi, elliana walmsley and manymore. I streched every day and then after some weeks I was able to do splits. I was so happy but it was not easy to become a flexible person i am not insanely flexible but I am trying to become more flexible and now I feel like I am amazing I achieved so much in 3 months it was not easy specially my back. Remember never give up.
I've been doing your stretching routines for 5 months (started at February 2021 almost everday, never skip the routines more than 2 days in a week). I can't even do a split at the first time, but now i can do front split, middle split, high oversplit, straight needle, leg hold, teardrop backbend. Thank you so much, Alivia! You're my angle❤️ I hope that you always be strong, positive, and confident as always, and i wish that you always be happy. You're motivations save my life. You're my inspiration! Thank you so much ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍
@@amelia_324 Yes, I also did Alivia's back stretching routine. But I want my back to be very flexible like a contortionist. You should check out Anna McNulty's videos, she has so many amazing videos stretching routines. Alivia helped me in the beginning my back flexibility progress. Until now I did Alivia's leg stretching routine, and Anna's back stretching routine. (Sorry for my bad English)
I knowwwww like when I do like it is when they let you rest and then I add pops up for me because then I get extra rest but I do not like it I mean don’t like I’m in the middle of splitting and then the pot and add
For anyone who isn’t a dancer, these are exercises that’s we do often to keep our flexibility. These are exercises that are safe to do and encouraged even if you aren’t a dancer yourself, as you body benefits regardless. Try not to over-stretch, because that can cause pulled muscles, and in extreme cases, torn muscles and ligaments. Listen to your body and stretch responsibly!😊
Sorry was camping! I couldn’t respond sooner! But yes, I stretch everyday, so this works for me. But if ur in LOTS of pain, tone it down. But yes :) I do this stretch’s so as long as ur dog or little sibling doesn't push u down (I was out for weeks lol thx to my puppy)u should be good! Just be careful if ur not a trained dancer. I have been dancing since two and a half and I’m eleven. Almost 9 years. But if ur not a dancer start out every other day. Or not ur choice! Sorry for the rant boba angels :)
*Boba Angels* I used to be a dancer at age 2 and a half too! But I had to quit in order to make my love of music a wanna-be career of mine :( (I’m also 11) Also funny we both involve boba in our names! I never knew how to do splits and I still don’t though 😂
Quick tip! Always warm up before stretching! If you stretch with cold muscles you are more likely to get an injury, plus you get better results with warm muscles!
Just wanted to share my experience:) i tried this routine about a year ago, i did it almost everyday and at first it was reaaaaally painful, but then as i kept going, i started noticing improvement, slowly, but i was getting there. Then i finally got to do my middle splits and some other forms. (Note: i was kinda flexible from the very beginning but i improved a lot and i also did some of the middle split routines) So, I can say that this video is really helpful and if youre thinking of trying it, start today!
Day 1: ouch.. the pain Day 2: hurting less than day 1 Day 3: i rlly need to learn to have patience- Day 4: Getting closer! Day 5: almost! Day 6: not yet (Like to remind me to continue this)
I just need to say that after doing this for about 3 weeks i was a lot more flexible and then i took a very long break and am starting all over again, so this is a reminder: STAY CONSISTENT
ive been doing these stretches for 10 days now and logging my progress on the notes app. thought i'd share with you all! day 1: i felt really motivated. some of the stretches i couldnt do but i kept on going and did the ones i could to the best of my ability day 2: sore from yesterday. i could actually do all of the stretches today. i lost a little bit of motivation because i realized just how much further i need to get before i can even do my right splits. the stretches were harder today but at least i completed them day 3: did this late at night and it felt great! i saw so much progress and was super motivated day 4: for some reason the stretches were kinda difficult today. i wasnt very motivated and i felt like i even lost progress day 5: omg i felt so good today and i can really see progress especially in my right split. super motivated day 6: sharp stabbing pain when i do stretches on the right. im gonna take a rest day tomorrow and once a week from now on! day 7: rest day day 8: the sharp stabbing pain in my right leg is still there, so i go as far down in the stretches as i normally would day 9: stabbing pain is still there! i think it might be sort of starting to go away but im not sure. idk if i should take another rest day or keep stretching and just see if it goes away because im feeling super unmotivated and like ill never get my splits :( day 10: the stretches actually felt really good today! the only thing was im STILL feeling that sharp pain in my right leg especially when i do my straddle stretches. it doesnt really affect any of the other stretches so thats good but im a little bit worried. ive noticed a lot of progress in that i can go a lot further in all of the stretches involving leaning or bending over. not much progress with my splits though. day 11: the sharp pain is pretty much gone! all of the stretches felt amazing today and i saw a lot of progress especially in my right split and middle split. my left side was a bit tight but its ok. im feeling motivated day 12: ok so i didnt really do the whole stretch routine today since when i got to it it was super late at night and was super tired. i only did up until the straddle but it was still nice to stretch a little. day 13: everything was so tight today and the stretches were really hard. im assuming this is because i took an almost complete rest day yesterday. since i basically took a rest day yesterday i will not be taking one tomorrow day 14: two weeks done and i really am not seeing much progress. the stretches were easier than yesterday but still pretty hard. im not feeling very motivated because i dont think im getting anywhere but im going to try to keep going day 15: rest day (i was super tired) day 16: omg. yall!! i can see soo much progress in my right split!!!! im about 2 inches above the ground which is really really good considering where i started!!! i have progress pics and you can really see how far ive come. i think that if i really push myself, i can get my right split this week :) super pumped! also seeing a lot of progress in my middle splits, and we're def getting there with the left
Don't worry when I was not much flexible I also felt that I'm never gonna get my splits but now see me I can do my right splits and I'm gonna get my left one so DO . NOT. GIVE. UP.
The sharp pain means you pulled up a tendon which is bad . If this ever happens to you again let your body rest because its dangerous and it sabotages you progress.
@@lindsypham3909 i think I injured my right leg so I'm now doing it not that often as I used to (I used to do it every day) since the beginning of July (and I'm still feeling that awful pain so idk how much time it needs) In June I could do both my splits on a matress (if that's what you call it in english? you know those things you have in your gym and we use them in cheerleading) and I also once did my right splits on grass right now I can do neither of the splits because of that weird injury or whatever that is, it's just that one muscle on my right leg hurting as hell when I stretch or try to do a split on my right side and I just hope it gets better and yeah that's what I have to say basically haha
Lucy T. It took a month and a half to get proper high over splits. But I got the others in one- two weeks of regular stretching. It takes regular practice though. I got my splits in 3 days and stopped stretching for a while and lost it . I had to restart again.
You told me to hold middle splits for 45 seconds. I said I couldn't do it. You told me to push on, because of I wanted something I had to work for it. I held my middle splits for 45 seconds. Thank you Alivia, you are changing my perspective, my perseverance, and so much more.
I’ve came to this video time and time again for the last 3ish years! One time I did it consistently for 3 months and the progress was absolutely crazy. Needless to say, this is the video to get flexible! Period.
Alivia, do you realize how much effort and caring u have for us?? U spend forever editing this video just for us!!! You have changed my life!! And I want u to know...... THANK YOU!!!
j0j0f0 OMG YES. You know Alivia’s intense middle splitting routine? I’m doing the wall splits 2 minutes and then the ads kick in and I’m stuck on the wall. It hurts 😢
Doing this stretch everyday! I really hope I can get flexible until next month. I only have 1 month to get flexible. Day 1: completed (keep liking so I can remember) Day 2: completed Day 3: completed I have my spilt :)
This works really well to get the splits. I've being doing this everyday since January to get the splits. I have my left splits and a little left over split. I'm so close to a right split. The middle split is getting there. DON'T GIVE UP.(I know have my right splits).(I posted this comment a month ago and now I really close to my middle split). Update: still trying to get my middle split I'm very close.( June 17)
Good joob! I've been doing this every day for a week now. I've never been really flexible, but when I was younger I managed to do my right splits once! This year, I really wanted to get more flexible again and I'm already getting better💕
@@spilltheteasis5078 I've now been doing it for 3 weeks (sometimes I don't stretch for 1 or 2 days if I have sore muscles). What's you Instagram? I could send you a picture of how far I am?❤

this is ur reminder not to give up!! this video is what got me all my splits!! i got my right splits in just 2 weeks of doing this everyday! left splits and middle splits took longer though, middle being my last split to get. but it all depends on how flexible you started off as!! i started this like three years ago and i stopped doing it after become really unmotivated, but i’m back now hoping to get all my splits back and even better this time ❤️
Who is here to do it in the quarantine to be more flexible and to surprise your friends 🙉🙋♀️ Edit : omg wow thanks G3 this is the first time I have 1.3k like omg I am surprised I was a little bit more flexible but I get injury in my left knee so I stopped pls pray for me
A trick I learned from one of my teachers is that you should do your least flexible side first so that way you have your better side to look forward to.
@@maddie8281 I’ve always been more flexible on my right side than my left and I do everything on the right like cartwheels, splits, round offs, etc. And I wanna get more flexible on my left side. Will this video help?
Bro frrrrr that mess be hurting sooooo bad! My face said it ALL 😂😂😂 I posted my split progression video on my channel for anyone who wants to check it out
Guys im a normal 14 years old girl . Like you, at first my body is really stiff and cant even touch my knees. But now i can do my split. You know what the secret i can go through all this? First, i kept practicing to touch my toes. And after 2-3 days i made it even it hurts a little. Second i start to sitting straddle and push my body onto floor. At first you cant do it. BUT im slowly push my back even though its hurt like hell. And finally i can do half of it, But i stop because to much pain. Next day, i do the straddle and try to push my body onto the floor again. Its a pain but i kept on practicing. So after a week i can do it. next i want to get my leg flexible so i stand up, go the the nearest wall and lift my legs as high as i can. When i first start i cant barely lift my legs. So i cant stand it and stop. Next day i watch 'how to get your splits down fast' and i found this beautiful girl. I kept on following her routines on stretching even though she already flexible and make it look easy And i remember her word saying' " pain is somewhat who make us weak" something like that. It was so tired and i almost stop. But things change ... after a month i kept doing it i realized that my legs improved on flexibility. And add more on it my best friend knows split while i cant. I get jealous. So i trying hard repeat the same routines over and over. You KNOW WHY IM SO PROUD? BECAUSE MY BODY ISNT THAT NORMAL AND I CAN DO A SPLIT THAT MOSTLY EVEN SKINNY PEOPLE GET FADE UP EASILY. I AM 95 KG AND 165 CM TALL THATS WHY I WANNA U GUYS TO KNOW PRACTICE MAKE PERFECT SO STOP WHINNING AND DO IT! ALIVIA I LOVE YOU!!!
Being a really thin girl I can say it's also very hard to stretch and hurts a lot too, also considering my legs are too long to reach even though I'm reasonably flexible
guysss for me it's been like 2-3 months and I can TOUCH the ground with my left and right splits! I just can't straighten my front leg just yet but I aim to do so by the end of this month, it took a super long time but I was consistently following this routine and I almost got it! My aim is to get into the Junior Dance Team so I hope and pray all of this stretching (and other practising) was WORTH IT! CONGRATS BTW
Things I have achieved from doing this stretch routine for 6 months : 1. Scorpion 2. Left splits 3. Right splits 4. Middle split 5. Heel stretch 6. Tear drop 7. Firebird 6. Tilt 7. Elbow stand 8. Contortion handstand 9. Needle THANKYOU!! Aliva you so sweet and it’s so nice how you want to help people improve ty ty :)
A NEEDLE, ALL SPLITS, A SCORPION, FIREBIRD, A CONTORTION HANDSTAND, AND EVEN A YEAR DROP? IS THIS THE ONLY ONE OR HAVE YOU BEEN DOING OR BACK STRETCHES- WOWOWOWO YOU JUST MOTIVATED ME
been doing these stretches ALMOST every single day in the past week while still incorporating intense leg days and I can say its been helping so much with recovery and Im seeing a big difference in my flexibility!
I watched this video all the way through and thought there is no way my obese body will be able to do even one of these... I tried anyway and was so very surprised at how much I was actually capable of. With a few tweaks I was able to do 90 percent of the stretches. I’m jello and sweaty. But really proud of what my body can do. Thank you ❤️
this is the best stretch routine i have ever seen, my right leg was extremely flexible before this, but my left leg has caught up in less than 2 weeks. this video is amazing! i would definitely recommend trying this routine!!
A tip I learned was to stretch your less dominant side before your dominant side for flexibility. Also the longer you hold a pose and consistent stretching can be useful to loosen tight muscles so they become flexible.
Yup. Usually you want to hold the position until it doesn't hurt anymore. And then push even further and hold until that doesn't hurt anymore. Otherwise it's pretty stagnant.
Yo guys I have hardly done this for 20 days and I wanna share the results. Initially I wasn't able to do most of the stretches in this video and my splits were so bad I wasn't even doing the right way ( you need to keep your back straight and u can use blocks or a chair for support) anyways coming back to the point I am almost reached to my left splits and right ones not much flexible so I am trying my best and middle will take a little more days so please don't quit and give up start doing these even if you are doing little or wrong just do it everyday. Beginning is the first step of success right? Thanks alivia ❤️
Lexi C i did gymnastics for 6 years off my life, i was always the flexible friend i would walk around in a brige😂 now it hurts to do a cartwheel, I’m trying out for my school sideline cheer soon and the couch it strict about flexibility and form so I’m like oh shit flexibility come back
Guys, I honestly have to say that this is the most helpful leg flexibility I’ve come across. I used to do gymnastics and lost my bad leg split and my middle after I quit. Now I’ve nearly gotten my right split and bad leg and I’ve got my oversplit back for my left split. It might not work out for everyone because we are all different but seriously, give this a go. It really helps a lot🙂
This is a great routine for begginers, but for God's sake don't even think of doing an oversplit if you are not guided by an instructor or a professional! It can be really damaging if it's not done properly and you will be able to do it with less risks once you get your splits down to the floor. Also, don't push yourself too much: our body is wise and results will show when you are truly ready! Be patient and consistent. If you are reading this, wish you tons of luck!
*I'm 18 and not flexible at all. I get cramps almost every day and doing this whole workout was really painful. I've been doing this for 3 days. I'll keep y'all updated* 😳 Edit (26/09/2021): I couldn't get this done I kept getting cramps on my feet, I recovered but nothing helped me do it, I'll search for some gym toolset to make it easier. I'll update this in a few weeks.
I used to be so flexible, but I just stopped stretching over the years and I lost all of my flexibility. Hopefully these stretches will help me get it back soon!
Me three! I'm so disappointed that I have trouble with flexibility that used to come so easily. I'm sure we'll get our flexibility back with a little time & patience.
Me four haha I was a fast runner in middle school for a 4'11" girl but it's been around 3 years since that time, so hopefully we can all four get it back soon :)
Me five! Getting my flexibility back is what motivated me to start streching again and I was so close in getting my right splits but I stopped because I didn't have time due to school amd when the summer came I thought that I could start again but I didn't want to feel pain again so I stopped. Now I want to try again but school starts and I really don't know. What should I do?
i was inflexible and combined different routines to make my own,, and i became quite flexible after stretching everyday for a couple of months I think,, not completely flexible but i was at a good level. that was last year tho but now i havent been stretching and im back to where i was skfjdk but im planning to achieve flexibility better than I have before I even joined taekwondo skdkdkd
i just really wanted to say thank you, i started this routine in april, needing a new hobby, and i have continued this for about 9 months, i am extremely flexible now but i am also happier because finishing something you started is quite hard and usually doesnt happen, but alivia taught me to pull through and commit to something and i thank her for that!! you are extremely inspirational (with your glow up diary's as well) so thank you! 💖💖
Yeah I feel like having a breakdown every time Im hugging my legs cos I know whats gonna follow and Im just sitting there like..cmon..u can that..DONT CRY xDD
Updating: I'm doing Chloe Ting's 2 week shred at the same time START: left- 13" from ground right- 14" from ground middle- 16" from ground Day 1: PAIN. Can't even touch my toes smh. I didn't attempt the splits to avoid injury. Day 2: Same as day 1. I didn't attempt my splits again, I couldn't even do some of the modifiers. Day 3: I attempted my splits and MY GOD I was so far from the ground. But hey, progress!! Day 4: The pain was a little easier to handle today, I'm noticing improvement! Day 5: Rest day :)) Day 6: I did an abbreviated version but everything hurt less! Day 7: MEASUREMENT DAY. left- 12" from ground right- 12" from ground middle- 14" from ground Day 8: Done Day 9: Rest day! Day 10: Done Day 11: Done Day 12,13,14: Done Final: 11” across the board
I highly doubt anyone will see this considering this is such a old video but ive been trying theese stretches daily and I'm so close to my splits! Thank you! ⭐⭐⭐
Kennadi Brooks Its different for every person, but I really started to see the results in my left leg splits (which was terrible) after stretching every second day for about 2 or three weeks.
I just started doing this but: Day 1 Right leg split: On the floor, no over split Left leg split: Extremely close to splits. 😁 Middle splits: Close but can’t do.. I can do: High kick, straight 180 penche in a kick (180 degree arabesque ) Working on: Straight Y stand on right leg Like for Update!
Update 2: I’m about to do my third time (One a day) I held my splits for 45 secs 😁 (couldn’t do for more than 10) And I got closer in my left leg splits 😆
Progress! (Forgot to Edit) Day 1: Not flexibile at all so it hurt a lot. Day 2: Still Painful..But still going! Day 3: I did it with one of my cousins but had to stop in the middle of it bc i wanted food. Day 4: Did it with my little cousin! It was painful. But we had fun sharing pain:)
I thought this wasn’t gonna work (because most tutorials don’t) but I’ve been doing it for the past two days and I have gotten so far (note I’m a complete beginner) let me tell you guys, as long as you do it consistently you can do it! Thank you do much 💓💓💓💓💓
Shahara Ali never mind I just had to comment sorry anyway never mind I’ve been doing my stretches for 30 days and Im getting better firstly I can almost do the middle splits and my other splits too ! Also the part where she sits and has her legs spread and leans forward so she can get flat down I can literally do it now ! It still hurts but not as much ! But my only problem is is that for my right or left splits I need to work on my bottom getting down like I’m literally right there if I could just push myself down little bit more I could but it hurts so I’m not but gonna keep trying 😀
Today I was finally able to get my right split! After stretching for 1-2 months my entire right leg makes contact with the ground! Now I’m working on getting my left and middle split, good luck to those who are also on the journey of getting more flexible
I’m 13 years old right now, and ever since I was little I’ve always loved ballet. When I saw this movie Leap a few months ago (or ballerina in some countries) I knew that dance is what I wanted to do when I grew up. So for the past two months I’ve been doing these stretches, but I didn’t really see many changes. I was watching this video and I was thinking that I should give up because some people just aren’t flexible, but then you started talking about how you started dancing/stretching when you were 13 and idk but that just really impacted me and inspired me to keep going. Thank you so much❤️❤️❤️
I can relate soooooo much Also we were inspired by the same things in many wayss It's feels good to know that there are people like me on the opposite side of the world too(i am Indian) I am 13 and I just started doing ballet because of the movie leap and I am not flexible but my family and my teacher Supports me and alivia is really helping me out (virtually).
No such thing as some people aren't flexible! Everyone has a different starting point, but everyone can improve, and if you don't have any physical disabilities limiting you then you can go as far as anyone else - just depends how much work you put into it!

@@laylajameel1836 I'm on the 11º day. Scretching is not painful anymore, most of the scretches are pretty easy and just a little uncomfortble sometimes. I don't have my middle split yet, but I think I gonna get it soon.
Why sit for minutes in static, if there is no sense from it? First of all, we need to understand that we are pulling MUSCLES. Yes, the ligamentous apparatus, especially in childhood, is amenable to changes, but then it takes years of muscle work to ensure that the joint remains stable. Further, if we already understand that we are pulling a muscle, we need to realize that only a nerve impulse sets the muscle in motion and it does not matter if it is a contraction or stretching.. And hence the logical conclusion follows➡️ Why sit for minutes in static, if there is no sense from it? It is much more pleasant to move and feel control over the muscles.🙃
ive already had two attempts at stretching everyday, but im back. she says "quitting lasts forever" but not really. remember you always have the ability to try again. ive lost so much flexibility but i am going to try again.
these people were like you at the beginning. nobody is like this girl without any long term practice. it's literally impossible. i can't just wake up in the morning and start dancing break dance while i've never done break dance ever again
People saying "first step: be flexible" 🙄 🙄These are really good stretches & if you put in the work and push through the pain, you WILL see progress. It takes time, keep going! Also make sure you do a good warm up it helps with mobility and pain.
Ada First stretch, you could touch your toes as well. After your streetches go running or run in place. But make sure you stretch your entire body though then do the stretches in the video!
My legs are weird, it’s like everything but my hamstrings are flexible, so I can’t do splits or even lift my leg straight in the air much but I can do everything else. I’m hoping to do this almost every day for a while! If I do I’ll try to remember to post an update eventually
@@Compliations I definitely made progress! I had to stop for a couple months because of a skateboarding injury but I started again a week ago and my flexibility got right back to where I left it off within just a few days so I’m happy about that. My left splits are sooooo cloooose
I feel you, I've been trying for a year and a half. But at the same time I've been close to doing the splits for a year :( Don't know what's wrong with me.
Hi guys! So, I've been doing this routine for a month now and I've seen amazing results doing these stretches every day! I am a dancer and I was injured a few months ago by splitting (it was my right hamstring). After that, I stopped stretching for two months. I waited for my injury to heal for a few weeks because I thought the pain would go away, but unfortunately, I did not go to see a physiotherapist. Nothing really helped me to get my flexibility back. Sometimes I felt like I could not do it because of the pain but I forced myself to do it, knowing that I would regain my flexibility. The weeks passed and I could see the results. I felt really good and proud. I kept pushing myself and a week ago I had my right shared! And today I have both sides! I'm so happy and grateful to Alivia, thanks a lot for really helping me with these quotes 💕
Hey guys! don’t forget to warm up before doing this stretching routine, so your legs won’t hurt so much. I love you and wish you luck! * I’m gonna do this 3 times a week+rest days. I’ll update here on 14th of February Upd. Guysss! I have got my right and left splits! Omg, I can’t believe, only in 1 week. But I will keep doing it to make better effect:) So what about middle split? It’s harder, but getting better with each stretching! I guess after 1-2 weeks I’ll get it. Upd. On 21th February
I did these stretches everyday for 2 weeks, and got both my left and right splits! I'm working with these stretches again to work towards my middle splits. Keep working! Everything is worth it in the end.

One word only: PRACTICE
samneee but i think as long as you can feel a stretch and it hurts a little bit then you will get there
It’s like a split it will hurt but that means you are getting it/stretching
You wont be just like this when ur starting but Eventually as you do this you will get just like this
i did this everyday for 3 months and here is my progress in a nutshell: i couldn’t touch the floor. my legs weren’t straight. it hurt a lot. i couldn’t breathe while doing the stretches. my body was sore. my legs felt pain the following days after doing it and it lasted for weeks. but even with the pain and struggle i still did it every day (with rest days bc those days are very important as well). and now i can do both right and left splits, i can lay on my back, grab my left and right foot, and pull it back all the way, and i’m so close to getting my middle splits.. my point is i can do every stretch in this video almost perfectly. i want whoever reading this to use my progress as their motivation to keep chasing after their goal. if you want to be flexible, why haven’t you started? it’s never too late. make that desire become a reality, i believe in you
Heeey. I wanna ask you something. How old are you and how was your flexibility before doing this?
nehir yılmaz. i’m currently 16 years old. i was naturally more flexible than an average level of flexibility a person but it was never anything too special. so it really was just my dedication and patience that got me to where i am now :)
So many more people need to see this comment like that is dedication!! Even though you felt pain and felt like giving up, you still did the stretches and looked toward your goal! You have definitely gave me the motivation to do this and get flexible! Thank you and you did great! Great work! Please don't ever give up! You can do it!
Hailie Marie that means a lot thank you!! and i rooting for you and hoping you get to your goal🥰
Awwww Emily I’m your age and I’m worried because I’m inflexible af. Glad to know this worked for someone my age
when I was a kid I was very flexible and did all kinds of sports but as I got to my teens I became very depressed and ended up quitting all the things I was doing (gymnastics being one of them) and I ended up just no confidence in myself, I wanted to die, went through years of drug abuse and living on the streets. Fastforward 10 years Im 3 years sober and just had a baby. I still lack confidence in myself, so I find it hard to start exercising because I always compare myself to how I used to be flexible blah blah blah I just get discouraged easily. Anyway this video is just what I needed. it pretty much brought me to tears and were exactly the words I needed to hear for the past few years so THANK YOU 💜
You are so so so strong. You are great. Your very beautiful. You will do it :)

I can confirm that 😇 Were my dancers at?
*Boba Angels* how do you know if you’re over stretching?? i’m not a dancer but i really want to do this routine, is it safe to do it every day
Sorry was camping!
I never knew how to do splits and I still don’t though 😂

day 1: i felt really motivated. some of the stretches i couldnt do but i kept on going and did the ones i could to the best of my ability
day 2: sore from yesterday. i could actually do all of the stretches today. i lost a little bit of motivation because i realized just how much further i need to get before i can even do my right splits. the stretches were harder today but at least i completed them
day 3: did this late at night and it felt great! i saw so much progress and was super motivated
day 4: for some reason the stretches were kinda difficult today. i wasnt very motivated and i felt like i even lost progress
day 5: omg i felt so good today and i can really see progress especially in my right split. super motivated
day 6: sharp stabbing pain when i do stretches on the right. im gonna take a rest day tomorrow and once a week from now on!
day 7: rest day
day 8: the sharp stabbing pain in my right leg is still there, so i go as far down in the stretches as i normally would
day 9: stabbing pain is still there! i think it might be sort of starting to go away but im not sure. idk if i should take another rest day or keep stretching and just see if it goes away because im feeling super unmotivated and like ill never get my splits :(
day 10: the stretches actually felt really good today! the only thing was im STILL feeling that sharp pain in my right leg especially when i do my straddle stretches. it doesnt really affect any of the other stretches so thats good but im a little bit worried. ive noticed a lot of progress in that i can go a lot further in all of the stretches involving leaning or bending over. not much progress with my splits though.
day 11: the sharp pain is pretty much gone! all of the stretches felt amazing today and i saw a lot of progress especially in my right split and middle split. my left side was a bit tight but its ok. im feeling motivated
day 12: ok so i didnt really do the whole stretch routine today since when i got to it it was super late at night and was super tired. i only did up until the straddle but it was still nice to stretch a little.
day 13: everything was so tight today and the stretches were really hard. im assuming this is because i took an almost complete rest day yesterday. since i basically took a rest day yesterday i will not be taking one tomorrow
day 14: two weeks done and i really am not seeing much progress. the stretches were easier than yesterday but still pretty hard. im not feeling very motivated because i dont think im getting anywhere but im going to try to keep going
day 15: rest day (i was super tired)
day 16: omg. yall!! i can see soo much progress in my right split!!!! im about 2 inches above the ground which is really really good considering where i started!!! i have progress pics and you can really see how far ive come. i think that if i really push myself, i can get my right split this week :) super pumped! also seeing a lot of progress in my middle splits, and we're def getting there with the left
Don't worry when I was not much flexible I also felt that I'm never gonna get my splits but now see me I can do my right splits and I'm gonna get my left one so DO . NOT. GIVE. UP.
Btw any update
You shouldn’t feel sharp pain that’s very bad
The sharp pain means you pulled up a tendon which is bad . If this ever happens to you again let your body rest because its dangerous and it sabotages you progress.

And finally i can do half of it,
But i stop because to much pain.
I kept on following her routines on stretching even though she already flexible and make it look easy
And i remember her word saying' " pain is somewhat who make us weak" something like that.
I AM 95 KG AND 165 CM TALL THATS WHY I WANNA U GUYS TO KNOW
PRACTICE MAKE PERFECT SO STOP WHINNING AND DO IT!
ALIVIA I LOVE YOU!!!
Omgosh, congratulations! We weigh the same so this gives me hope that i can also do it! Thank you💕
Being a really thin girl I can say it's also very hard to stretch and hurts a lot too, also considering my legs are too long to reach even though I'm reasonably flexible
guysss for me it's been like 2-3 months and I can TOUCH the ground with my left and right splits!
Huge update: I finally can also reach my right splits! left side, HERE WE COME! good luck to everyone else!

Sure. How do we know j already knew how to do this. Plus, we these leg stretches donkey teach u how to do a contortion handstand, ur exaggerating.
been doing these stretches ALMOST every single day in the past week while still incorporating intense leg days and I can say its been helping so much with recovery and Im seeing a big difference in my flexibility!

Although the max amount of time I would recommend holding a stretch is a minute though, because you don’t want to over stretch anything
You ever just quit dance and lose a lot of your flexibility and regret it :,)
Yes.
yes.
Lexi C i did gymnastics for 6 years off my life, i was always the flexible friend i would walk around in a brige😂 now it hurts to do a cartwheel, I’m trying out for my school sideline cheer soon and the couch it strict about flexibility and form so I’m like oh shit flexibility come back
No. I'm just sad we didn't have enough money for dance classes😭😭
@@-bluehour-6272 same like my family did before but not so much anymore :(
Guys, I honestly have to say that this is the most helpful leg flexibility I’ve come across. I used to do gymnastics and lost my bad leg split and my middle after I quit. Now I’ve nearly gotten my right split and bad leg and I’ve got my oversplit back for my left split. It might not work out for everyone because we are all different but seriously, give this a go. It really helps a lot🙂
Omg for how long?
@@samahragab6201 Like a month or 2? I haven't been stretching for a bit but I've still got it all
This is a great routine for begginers, but for God's sake don't even think of doing an oversplit if you are not guided by an instructor or a professional! It can be really damaging if it's not done properly and you will be able to do it with less risks once you get your splits down to the floor. Also, don't push yourself too much: our body is wise and results will show when you are truly ready! Be patient and consistent. If you are reading this, wish you tons of luck!

Now I want to try again but school starts and I really don't know. What should I do?
I really want a inflexible person to make a stretching routine so I’ll stop comparing my self to her

I am 13 and I just started doing ballet because of the movie leap and I am not flexible but my family and my teacher Supports me and alivia is really helping me out (virtually).
No such thing as some people aren't flexible! Everyone has a different starting point, but everyone can improve, and if you don't have any physical disabilities limiting you then you can go as far as anyone else - just depends how much work you put into it!

And hence the logical conclusion follows➡️
Why sit for minutes in static, if there is no sense from it?
It is much more pleasant to move and feel control over the muscles.🙃
Your voiceover is oddly calming.
