A day in the life of a refugee camp was the best part of this video. Thank you for shedding light on the situation.
Thanks for this amazing video making me rediscover my country
I love how you weave personal stories, culture and history into the food/eating experience. Everything is intertwined! Thank you from Tasmania, Australia 🇦🇺 ❤
Lebanon is just stunning!
Actually now should be a great time to visit Lebanon. Your money would go a long way.
Why Abir deserves more. She unbelievable! A perfect artist. I started following here after your video.
Your best ever yet.
I adore You Sonny... You bring so much happiness to Families all over the World! This is not Just a food channel, what you show a Lot of people is Culture and Cultures that struggle. You should call your channel "The Best ever Culture Documentary Channel" . I Love Your Work and of course Your Teams Work!!!! Thank You!!!
I loved this video, it has information about Lebanon that I did not know before. Thank you for this distinguished effort. I wish peace to Lebanon and all the countries of the Middle East.❤❤❤
This is why i love this show. Raw and unfiltered and he shows life in extreme settings unlike the news we hear and watch daily, life there is different. Thanks Sonny.
Omg! Lebanon looks like a dessert and food heaven. 😋😋😋🤌🏾
Not Lebanese, but can confirm Lebanese food is the BEST CUISINE in the world. Especially the meat dishes.
Ya jahash.
This is so eye opening. Thanks for sharing this!
The fact that he can remember what country he ate something before months or years apart is amazing.
I love the culture of Lebanese the food and the people, the place❤❤❤ From Philippines🇵🇭 I hope the war will stop and the people of Lebanese can start and leave in Peace and Harmony❤
As an African guy I am so happy to learn about Lebanon, my goodness, what a people!
Let me start off by saying that *Abir* is the definition of “Making something beautiful grow, out of nothing” she is so gorgeous inside and out! I love her *GOOD VIBEZ* attitude towards life, especially being from a country where *GOOD VIBEZ* are not really a thing due to their economic/conflict status that has been growing even worse lately since the *Palestinian Crisis* #Freepalestine 🇵🇸
I agree. She defines and exudes beauty 😍
I love her reaction at 1:14:19 … She is a chef, why looks scared😂😂
Lebanon is such a beautiful country. I'm so sorry for what's happening with the economic crisis and the Israëli invasion of south Lebanon. God bless you guys ❤️
Israel withdrew from ALL Lebanese land back in year 2000.
@@goodywardhunt3605 you dumb they bombed Lebanon with white phosphore just this morning
@@goodywardhunt3605don’t u think that what they did has consequences? And btw there were still targeting south Lebanese area. Even rn. So just because they ,,went back” (which they didn’t do by their own) it doesn’t mean that there’s no damage that they’ve done
@@Zeinab183 Learn some history. They went after the PLO that was attacking from there and they had support of Christians from South Lebanon. The Lebanese people are to blame for the mess in their country with their civil wars, corrupt governments and letting syria and iran meddle with their affairs. Now the terrorists of hezbollah have been in controlling the country for many years. You talk about consequences? Wait a few months for the consequences of attacking Israel for over 7 months straight. Also, @BestEverFoodReviewShow your Levant map is missing a country. You also don't mention your terrorist hosts in the video.
The way I was on the edge of my seat as a South African...This was so interesting because the history is interesting and I think we can relate as South Africans about their resilience but they keep pushing everyday. Unique culture.
Your journey through the Middle Eastern culinary landscape is absolutely mind-blowing!
West asia
LEBANESE. Don't say ME like it's all one big blob. We're all different.
I'm from Greece and didn't know Lebanon had half the population be Christians! Wonderful documentary, enjoyed it a lot
It is where part of the Bible was written (in the city of Byblos, now Jbeil). You can find in the caves of the mountains, artefacts of the early Christians, like clay oil lamps. Most of the Christians are Antioch Orthodox, Melkite Catholic or Maronite.
It is, mostly maronites however shiites through hezbollah have been harrasing them (and other islamists)
@@jpespinosa4539 no they havent
@@jpespinosa4539I’m not Shia but shia Muslims are closer to Christians in a way, they dress just like Christians and celebrate Christmas too
I love lebanese food. Once i lived in Kuwait where lebanese cuisine is very polular and i tried many. Yow will find lebanese restaurant in every corner of the town.
Love how beautifully they present their food.
And now I want to visit Lebanon, just so I can experience all of this.
you can't because of the instability in lebanon, hezbollah and israeli hamas war
@@Xamufam Seems Sonny made it out alive LOL
@@peterpan31000 this is months old videos
@@peterpan31000Sonny also often has his own security detail/government escort in certain places
You are welcome anytime ❣️🇱🇧
In the Late 90's when I was in the US Army I dated a woman that was a first generation Lebanese/Greek and the food was fantastic. Her and her family were fantastic and the hospitality was bar none!
*1:34:16** ---------- THE LEGEND! ANYTIME. ANYWHERE. FOREVER!*
I can’t wait to visit this beautiful country and its people.. 🇦🇫 🇱🇧
This was an excellent showing of the diverse food from Lebanon. Thanks.
This episode made me so happy. I'm not sure what it was but watching this as a Lebanese made me nostalgic and just so happy to see such kind people. Then political situation keeps hiding beautiful humans like these and making you forget the heart behind it all!
I loved this journey, I especially loved you going to Tripoli. Such an underrated city that hosts Muslims & Christians, great food, unbelievably hospitable genuine people! Many thanks for taking us through this journey. Lebanese food is larger than life, you know what they say, you can feel the history of a place from its food!

I have a friend living in Lebanon. I didn't know life is so tough there for him. I truly wish him all the best in life.
This is a good example of how to do great food reviews in different countries. The foods of Lebanon leaves your mouth watering, wanting to jump through the screen and tuck into what appears to be delicious, cultural dishes!!!
my first time to watch Sonny while crying, really hope everything is improving for everyone.

The refugee situation is heartbreaking, I can't believe no one does something to help these people, itt was great that you included this in the show .
