Has it though? I only really ask because there's literally no hint to their romantic involvement in Advent Children. Like I literally never knew they had a thing for each other until I played the remake. I always just assumed Cloud and Aerith would have ended up together if she hadn't been killed by Sephiroth.

@@MrHoll87 Even if you dont achieve high relationship score with Tifa in the OG(which will trigger the famous Under the Highwind scene), in his lifestream scene, it is shown that everything Cloud did, he did it for Tifa. You can try to find a video and rewatch and ponder.
And in Advent Children he did settled down with Tifa and adopted Denzel, but I guess it is not quite like the marriage we understand, they just....live together, these are two very traumatized person leaning on each other for support. But he was having problem getting over his guilt for Aerith, that is why you see their relationship is a bit strained there.
Though I agree, Aerith was out on the attack for Cloud, if she didn't die, the romance could turn out very differently.

No, if she's alive, she'd just be his friend, while he and Tifa didn't have to get thru what they did in AC,, it'd be more easy for them, Aerith is alive didn't affect cloud and tifa's relationship and I have no problem at all if she's alive, it just completely ruin the main story

I literally screamed with joy when Cloud and Tifa kissed! I knew they were always meant to be together but for them to finally share an onscreen kiss was perfect! I can’t wait for the Highwind in part 3!
Tifa e cloud is the deepest and most beautiful, they have known each other since childhood, they had a tragic past that brought them together, they both feel love and affection for each other, they care for each other, and would do anything to protect each other, they fight together and even in difficult times they don't separate, for me the best couple in final fantasy ❤❤❤

Tidus and Yuna’s relationship was the biggest gut punch. You spend most of the game thinking she’s the one that’s going to die at the end while you hold out hope that you can save her only to realize it’s Tidus that is actually already dead and there is no way for them to be together if they want to save the world.
That date with Tifa in the Gold Saucer was everything I've been waiting for for all these years. I was celebrating it like crazy, and my gf was like "Aww, these two are cute"
I been waiting for Cloud to kiss Tifa for a long time, the wait was worth it.
Love Cloud and Tifa!! It's been amazing seeing the 7R trilogy and ToTP flesh out their story even more.

FFX definatly has the best god damn story of all the FF games (maybe XVI gets close in "story") but god damn it is the story in FFX the best.

I like my Final Fantasy nice and depressing.
Clerith fan would never understand that it’s always been Tifa and Cloud! The OG in the end explains Cloud’s true feelings for Tifa.
He wanted to be SOLDIER for Tifa and copied Zack’s impression to look tough in hoping Tifa would noticed but end up attracting Aerith because he reminds her of Zack.
I believe after Rebirth, we will see Tifa help Cloud get better and realize this whole time he was doing the best he can to have her.

Cloti got one optional kiss (didn’t happen in my play through), but multiple canon dates with Clerith happened, as well as them both expressing feelings for each other.
Also, even the 5 year old girl is smart enough to see that Aerith has feelings for Cloud. Zerith was taken behind the barn and shot. Even Zack accepted this.

Cloud and Aerith have canon non optional dates, both expressed feelings for one another, both have Main Themes from the first 2 games that are to each other, and obviously I know you’re not actually going to listen to any of this. Because people like yourself, Silver, Midgar Blues, Sherista, etc etc have been the most toxic little cult to ever exist in any fandom.
You all spend more time trying to diminish or discredit Clerith moments. Rather than just enjoy the one optional scene you all got.

The thing i love the most about the "Squall x Rinoa" relationship, is that Rinoa is the Daughter of Laguna`s first Love (Julia Heartilly), which he had to leave behind in Galbadia, due to him being a Soldier and his last Mission going wrong, which brought him to Raine. Squall is living the love his Father couldnt have.

I can bull*hit on the noctis x lunafraya romance. Their was never anything there. They may have been engaged but it was a publicity wedding set up by their enemies. Also they only met for like a week when they were toddlers and then for 5 minutes before Luna’s death. They were literally the ff version of the internet girlfriend excuse.
I wish someone from XIII made the list. I would have added either Hope and Vanille or Lightning.

Best canon couple
For me is ff9. Now seeing Wakka/ lulu I do see it, but it works for me seeing them grow(a princess that wants adventure, a ladies puppet that wants to help) plus all the comedy. You really see them grow. One of my favorite scenes past the ending is when the female bounty hunter first stops them and he starts flirting, but then she gives him that look. Ff10 is next. Like you don’t really see it or notice it. She wants everything b4 she dies and keeps him around, he is pushed onto her( only so she will keep him as a guardian) then that scene happens, plus the ending.chefs kiss 💋. I haven’t played the other games so I would say Aerith/zack Tina/cloud and ff8 last. It is nice that they are together but it just seems to come out of left field. She likes/ loves another, helps out him because of his squad mates and needs saving where he is the center point to do the saving…everything else is just normal behavior of wanting a reward for being saved a hug a thank you,etc but hey, I am sure ppl can break down how ff9 love doesn’t work and I would watch it but not like it,lol. Zack and aerith is a love that grows over time and blossoms. Tifa / cloud is home town, childhood friend., And savior. And crush, even though I wouldn’t go that far to say myself. But Tifa‘s willingness to save him(mind ) and help him through. It is definitely unmatched.. even to the point, where she will sacrifice herself in order to save him. cloud is like a protector or shadow where Tifa is the true person in love cloud does what she wants and not the other way around. But I really didn’t notice. But did say though out the game what about Tifa a lot, I just don’t remember that point in game. There love/ her love wasn’t cut or dry, or in the face so to speak. I’m telling you… the irony is rich after seeing the death of Aerith no thanks to Sephiroth.
All I see is Cloti’s complaining and getting triggered that Clerith exists. Aerith has already moved on from Zack, and that’s why she calls Cloud her koibito in the canon “OTWTAS” novel.
Cloud and Tifa are the most boring ship in the series. Most of the scenes are optional, and there’s a triangle unlike every other FF game. They don’t do or say anything romantic after the game, aren’t in a relationship, sleep in different rooms and beds, spend most of CoT and ACC at odds of apart, and are still addressed as friends in Dirge 3yrs after the game. If this is what you Cloti’s all look forward to, then that’s just sad.

100%. I feel like with Clouds confusion, the fact that he was channeling some of Zacks personality (along with his memories) are what drew Aerith to him in the first place, but her heart always belongs to Zack.

Ah. They did Final Fantasy 15 dirty. They want too much and got hate. I understand it, this game isn't simply finished. But if you take a closer look on the story, it has real potential. I still love it. BUT Luna was more of a desperate try to get a romantic theme in this game (although, the fanfictions about the 4 guys are CRAZY 😂)

Tidus and Yuna is my favorite, FFX is my 4th favorite Final Fantasy, but Yuna and Tidus are by far my favorite couple.

I cant believe the way you described Zidane and Garnet compared to everyone else lmao the romance and character building that took place within FF9 was second to none. Zidane began as a creepy ladies man joker who Garnet had zero interest in and by the end of the story he was the person she loved, trusted and respected more than anyone else in the world - we the viewer got to watch this gradually build and unfold and it was one of the main themes of the game. I cant believe you compared it to bloody Noctis and Lunafreya yet made out that an optional kiss in a game centered around a LOVE TRIANGLE was more romantic 😭😭😭 watch mojo is so unserious
There are 3 moments that just hit me everytime. Coupled with the music for each = tears everytime.
FF9 Zidane and Garnet - Final Scene where he reveals he's still alive during the play and she runs through the crowd which closes the game in a happily ever.
FF8 - Final Scene seeing Laguna standing over Raine's grave, replaying the memory of him proposing to her. Their story was hinted but perfect. He was an idiot, and she was stubborn but both caring and had more chemistry than any couple in entire franchise.
FF10 - Final Scene - Damn. This one kills me. Tidus's goodbye scene.... Yuna tries to hold Tidus back as he slowly disappears, but just falls straight through him. He holds her, for a final time while The road to Zanarkand by the legend Nobuo Uematsu playing in the background...

I've honestly never met an actual Zifa shipper who likes the dynamic (and not a Clerith shipper who's just trying to get Tifa and Zack out the way by shipping them) who was toxic. They are super wholesome, in my experience.
