Yeah, when you have a top 10 about big spoilers, always put them in the thumbnail so people can be spoil before they open the video or even being spoiled for a game they are playing right now.
Exactly. Haven’t finished FF16 because of school, work, & a moving process that had me put the game on standby. Now they spoiled in the thumbnail a character I least expect would get killed off and was growing attached to. Worst part is I realized that I’m not even subscribed to this channel?!
@@user-wu1ke8th9iA huge part of the hype for FF7 Rebirth was/is the question of whether that specific plot twist would remain or if the fate of that character would be changed. So announcing in the thumbnail that this particular character apparently dies is at least as idiotic as announcing in the thumbnail that *spoiler* from FF16 dies - if not arguably more so.
Her theme always brings me back to that moment and my eyes tear up. Okay, they don't always tear up, but you get my point. When I first played FF7, I knew about it and I knew that it was coming... That didn't soften the blow, at all.
That's nothing compared to what happened to spoilers If you haven't beaten ff16 plz do not check my comment how ultima brutally killed Joshua did alien chest buster style in ff16 forcing Clive to join him. What’s even sadder than aerith demise is that Joshua says his final words to Clive before dying in his arms and after ultimalius fight we see many flashbacks of Clive and Joshua 30 year journey ranging from childhood to There teenage years and now seeing clive saw his brother die a second time and failed to be his shield.
Spoilers: I feel like Joshua needed to be on the list instead of Clive,or maybe even Cid. Joshua’s death with the flashbacks and music to me was more impactful than Clive’s,and I believe Clive is still alive at the end of the game, but it’s really up for interpretation and purposely left ambiguous.
Noctis death is definitely the most saddest to me. He's been raised as a pig for slaughter, a fate he can't avoid, unable to live a normal life with his friends or the love of his life. Everyone knew that, it's horrible that they lived carrying the awareness that Noctis couldn't escape that cruel fate. His talk about his emotions about his imminent death at the end of the game is terribly heartbreaking.
Clives death isn't confirmed and or denied as the ending is purposely left ambiguous. With that being said, the overall ending and final side quests make it clear that Clive survived.

Oddly enough, while Cid can be saved in FFVI, you are better off not doing so. Thematically speaking that is. Nothing quite sinks in the feelings of hopelessness and despair, like Celes watching her new family die and then attempting suicide. It really drives home that the world is ruined and all hope is lost.
Still to this day Zack death hits me like a hurricane and then rebirth had to redo aerith death and be shown in another timeliness she's alive? That made me tear up again and anger me during the jenova and sephiroth fights.

Aerith's death for me is unquestionably the most heartbreaking, not just in Final Fantasy but in every game or franchise I've ever seen. Also, after they made Jessie's story more in-depth in the FFVII Remake, I confess that it also hurt much worse than in the original game.
Nice! I'm waiting for FFXVI to be released on PC since last year. I definitely wanted the spoiler about Cid dying just by watching the fucking thumbnail as I scrolled through my recommendations. Thank you so fucking much! :)

The thumbnail they could have easily gotten away with was of Aerith, since her death has been famous for decades. However, they just had to spoil another newer Final Fantasy, as well. Not cool.
5:50 People need to see the fruition of this story before saying Barrett is a stereotype. He perpetuated a stereotype to hide his vulnerability and trauma, to be a leader and save the world. I will never forgive the pain of this scene 😢
It’s a real shame they screwed over Aerith’s death in Rebirth cause said remake’s second part’s ending just left me immensely confused what with inserting in multiple timelines and universes of her. Make up your freakin mind, Square!
I know the list is subjective and all, but no mention of either: Minwu, Richard or Josef from FF2 seems odd. Then to miss out Aria who was the first character to have her own theme is even more so. Even Tellah from FF4 is worth a mention as all he wanted to do was avenge his daughter and then in death he acts as a guide to Gordon. This list just seems to focus on FF7, and yes, Aerith does deserve to be on the list as her death is iconic, to overlook the earlier entires in their series is bizarre.
