In Rebrith, while climbing to the Niblehiem reactor, Yuffie asked Cloud if he would join Wutai. She then says the whole group could join the “Yuffie Recon Patrol” or YRPs. Another call back to Final Fantasy X-2, since YRP in that game means Yuna, Rikku, and Paine.
It's the dance Aerith performs in chapter 13 that gets me, it looks like the one Yuna from FFX performs when she does sendings and I was screaming when I saw it
There’s a callback to Crisis Core when taking Yuffie to the sky wheel in the gold saucer. She’ll mention that she once met a SOLDIER and she wanted to prove herself by showing her best moves. She then says he eventually said “Ya got me!” And that she bought it at first but he was just playing along for a dumb kid. This references on a side quest in Crisis Core chapter 3 I think when obtaining the Chocobo summon, Zack will run into the person who’s been sending him spam, The Treasure Princess, that being a younger Yuffie where the events Yuffie explained to Cloud play out.
@@matthewhibbard9807 He was not even born when the Shinra family lived there. Maybe when Hojo, Lucrecia and Vincent were there but not to be on that portrait
I've been thinking a lot about the potential title for the third game in the Final Fantasy VII trilogy, and "Resurrection" seems to make the most sense for several reasons: 1. **Hall of Resurrection**: The term "Resurrection" has already been used in the Hall of Resurrection, setting a thematic precedent. 2. **Nomura's Naming Theme**: Nomura has stated that the name "Rebirth" was chosen to evoke themes of starting anew. Following this pattern, "Resurrection" fits perfectly for the third game, as it continues the theme of renewal and revival. 3. **Progression of Power**: If you consider the progression from remaking something, to rebirth, and then to resurrection, each term becomes more powerful. Remaking something is a lesser feat compared to giving birth to something, which involves creating life. Resurrection, however, is the ultimate feat-bringing something back to life, which has never been achieved. This aligns with the trilogy's goal of escalating the stakes and achievements with each installment. Given these points, "Resurrection" seems like the most fitting and powerful title for the final game in the trilogy.
Kitase revealed a tentative first draft for the finale. Remnants or Revival may be the title. I originally thought Resurrection too. I like Revival. Remnants makes me a bit nervous, though.
@@Locustskies If they go with Revival, then they definitely listening to Max Dood's every word to a blueprint. But I still think it will be Resurrection given the theme, and at the end of the day, it seems like it's Normura who is in charge of naming the games after all. He was the one who thought of the name for part one and part two.
@@dennissepulveda6118 I like Max and all but I don’t know if he has that much insight and persuasion on the Devs. They are uniquely brilliant. Nojima is a God in my eyes. I’m a fan of his novels- his writing. Either way, Resurrection, Revival… gives me hope that it won’t be the same OG outcome.
An easter egg that I’ve found (in crisis core), is that there is a craftsman in the sector five slums that you can talk to as Zack. While talking to him, he mentions that he is collecting materials to make a bar in the sector seven slums, and he asks Zack what he thinks it should be called. I don’t know all the answers but I know that one is seventh heaven, and another of the lucky turtle, referencing the bar mentioned in intergrade.
Never played Dirge of Cerberus so Nero was new to me when I encountered him. But his looks, abilities and mannerisms (on top of all of the easter eggs between FF7 and 10) were giving me serious Anima vibes. I really felt like it was a direct call back to that aeon which was definitely the coolest one at least for me.
They never said it'll end with the events of advent children, they've said that the story "links up with" advent children. VERY different. I think this means AC has already happened in the original game's timeline, and now the "Omni" versions of Sephiroth and Aerith have already experienced the events of AC.
@12:27 you say that the only thing you get from the Pride and Joy fight is the trophy...when you get an accessory that gives you a full limit break every battle? Did you even play these games as this is like the 3rd thing you got wrong
One of the clearest connections in FF7: Rebirth to FFX that I haven’t heard anyone talk about is when Aerith dances with her staff to calm the lifestream in the temple dungeon. The way she interacts with the lifestream is near identical how Yuna and other summoners in FFX perform “the sending” to send spirits back to the Farplane so they don’t become “fiends”. This also connects to an earlier part in Rebirth when a character (I can’t remember who) explains the difference between the wild deer running around the open map vs the enemies you encounter, calling them “fiends”. Also, the planet’s Weapons in rebirth look near identical to Sin in FFX and NOTHING like the weapons in OG FF7. It felt like the developers were trying to make the connection between the games unmistakable.
Doomguy references: 1. Rabbit portraits in the inns 2. Daisies in Aerith's inn rooms, next to her reunion flowers in the ending 3. Aerith holding her hands like "rip and tear" when saying "rip em off" to Corneo 4. RED RUNES in the black materia chamber, which Cloud puts in his GIANT SWORD. Crucible reference. 5. 3/3/2020 - Remake original release date, 3/20/2020 - Doom Eternal release date 6. Oda foreshadowing #5 in Shonen Jump on 3/19/18, saying he played Animal Crossing 7. Jack Garland Welcome to the return of OUR LORD.
Which I really do like the fact that they are confirming that advent children is cannon which is really nice. that's why I have any easier time. Believing that sephirov is manipulating time-line.
If you visit the site where you fought Dyne, you’ll see his grave and Barret will automatically walk up to it regardless of if he’s an active party member or not.
For the callback poses, i will say that Cloud's pose isn't more faithful than Zack's pose which is surprising. When you compare it with Zack you can see that Zack's pose is more faithful to Cloud's pose in the original game
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was one hell of a long grind to 100% Platinum. I had to spend 300 hours doing it! Remake was easier except Hard Mode which I found significantly easier in Rebirth.
People should really do a thorough research before making a video to save face, Yes its a mistake we are humans but man that could've been easily avoided if you actually played the game
Sucks when you have a script written by a non ff7 player given to a speaker for a video. Makes the speaker look dumb as hell when it wasnt their fault.
Elfe is not in rebirth and even if she would appear she would probably not fight because she lost her powers in before crisis and lives a peaceful life with her dad now...?
red 13 is a baby behemoth you can kinda tell when ya see seto as they have the same mohawk hair and freyed fire tail, yeah they look like small behemoths and they said 48 is a teenager which means gets bigger.... or should.
Hm, how very interesting, I wonder what we could expect from Part 3? Speaking of which, the Future will still be intact? What was the point of Changing Fate then? Also, does that mean we won’t be seeing Weiss and Nero in Part 3?
I’m afraid to see what they turn the weapon fights into. Cause they are either gonna be way more difficult or way easier compared to the original. And the reception to either or is going to be divisive
Which weapons are you talking about? Because depending on how high level you were, Diamond and Ultimate Weapon are pretty easy fights. Emerald and Ruby on the other hand … obviously a different story. But I think they’ve proved with Pride & Joy in Remake, and subsequently Gilgamesh in Rebirth, that they can handle the hard-hard battles.
Random Guy: “Why do you look like that?” Nero: “Because I am handsome.” Random Guy: “Seriously? I mean is that supposed to be a mask, or...ah, forget it.”
I doubt they'll do it cuz they're desaturating all the best moments. But it'd be cool if they kept the slap fight in FF7R3. Like have it start with slaps then as they get angrier actually start fighting. But I betcha they'll just do some dramatic camera cuts and start fighting instead.
Did you know? If you walk inside a secret room that can only be discovered in Chapter 9 of the Remake, you’ll be hypnotized into literally praising Aeriths every move and also shitting on everyone who doesn’t like her
Yuffie ffx2 YRP reference in nibel Aerith dances like Yuna tifa wakes up in the flow of life like tidus wakes up in ffx chocobo race play chocobo metal rock in ffxiii 2
So they're pretty much just ruining any chance for part 3 to actually change anything then? If AC is still canon, then events are just going to play out exactly the same way in the end.
‘Game journalists’ need to actually play the games they cover so they don’t make fools of themselves. Even if you didn’t know the difference between the Highwind and Tiny Bronco, they’re literally in the video clips you showed so how can you make that mistake? Dumb
They explain Red's voice change literally within the first minute of this video. Also that happens halfway through Rebirth once you reach Cosmo Canyon. Before that, Red sounds exactly the same as he does in Remake.
Mojo, my guy(s), spoiler warning next time. If you had blown the Red XIII voice swap scene for me I would have been so upset thinking I was coming here for a few simple Easter Eggs connecting these new games to the OG '97 FF7.

Yuffie also hums the victory theme in Rebirth in addition to Barret. As well, she sings her own variant of the chocobo theme, too!
and Cait Sith sings it in meows.
I'm on a chocobo you're on a chocobo 😂😂😂😂😂 I had that stuck in my head for weeks after hearing it

Not surprising considering that his initial concept for Sora in KH was as a lion-like child with a chainsaw blade.
