Rebirth is one of the best games I've ever played in my life. Anyone who hasn't played it needs to do so. They put so much effort and love into this game.
Tell me you don’t play many games without telling me you don’t play many games. Rebirth is good, but as good as a good Ubisoft game after the main story is over.
Sorry, I refuse. I wish anyone enjoying it all the best and I can see it being a good or even great game, but I will never accept it sealing the concept of an FF7 remake's fate.
I find it laughable that we’re seemingly gonna get the entire FF7 Remake trilogy before KH4, or at least in the same span of time it’s taking to get just ONE Kingdom Hearts game.
I hope they make part 3 even more different than the first 2 games because theorizing and seeing the changes is what made the remake trilogy really interesting
People keep saying this but the evidence doesn’t reflect reality. It also doesn’t make sense because they’re being worked on by two different teams- so the development of part 3 has no bearing on kh4 and vice versa.
Considering REBIRTH to 100% is about 200 hours and have it made in 3 years is insane. I hope part 3 is another 200 hour game. I hope they do same thing with the Buster Sword where it has a unique ability making it usable no matter how far in the game you are or what mode. Giving reprieve to the Buster Sword was the best idea ever. But the Ultimate Weapons are what I am wondering about. Will they be the most powerful? In the prior games the last weapon wasn’t the most powerful in fact far from it. They just had the most materia slots initially
I was a bit scared there wouldnt be enough stuff for them to put in Part 3, but after thinking about it - there is definitely enough content left. Besides the obvious stuff like north crater, rocket town (cids story), Mideel, submarine, return to Midgar and Wutai, they also opened the story for Deepground and all that stuff. I am still confused about why we did not see any Deepground stuff in Rebirth except for that small Yuffie flashback scene. About the "Advent Children as a game" thing -> Isn't Ever Crisis supposed to do that already? Including stuff from Before Crisis and Dirge of Cerberus too. But seeing how slow it is, it probably will take about the same time as KH Union X
@@kg888it was in Yuffie’s flashback when they went to the temple, my biggest question is Advent Children. It obviously has to update to fit the current narrative since Advent Children is cannon to the OG timeline.
I'm a hardcore fan who played the original ff7 more than a dozen times. And I don't want it to stay the same as the original game. Every time there was a new rumor to prevent Aerith from dying I played the game again and again. All that talk about changing destiny would make no sense if they backpeddaled and ended it the way the original ended, just to not upset a few people who can't be pleased either way. There is probably only one way to stop nostalgia people from going mad, and that would be to allow for multiple endings. Or at least 2, the original ending where Aerith dies and one where she gets to survive and have a happy end with Zack and her friends. And if they could somehow also add a "turnbased-ATB mode", that would probably shut up most critics. Me on the other hand I have always dreamed about improvements and knew that the old game was just limited by the console. Remake and especially Rebirth so far have surpassed my own expectations. There are some minor things that could be improved, like the foliage, but overall, it was the best gaming experience I had. I played every single FF game and many other Square games, Rebirth is for me hands down by far the best of them all. I'm not blinded by nostalgia like other fans, who will rate the first game they played as a child higher. Keep the improvements coming.
God THANK YOU. And you're spot on with that "a few people who can't be pleased either way", even if the Remake trilogy was exactly 1-to-1 (even more than Rebirth was), they would still find some reason to bitch at it because Square could never capture the image of the original FF7 that they have in their heads because it's tinted by nostalgia goggles. And even though they didn't end it the way the original ended, they still gave us a half-assed Aerith death-but-not-really just because it would make these people livid if she were to survive
Yes all that talk about destiny xd and aerith still can't enjoy her adventures with cloud and her friends again in the third game ( her mother and her ancestors all have a bad fate at least let her live and have a new family ) ..then no I don't think I'll enjoy the game without her although I love other characters she is the most important one in the team for me, so two endings will be better for everyone.
I think what they will do is give us a glimpse of what would happen if she survived. However, we will ultimately learn that the planet's survival necessitates her death. I think that is the perfect middle ground.
@@joshz2491 I do not see that as the perfect middle ground. That's no middle ground. Not at all. The middle ground would be to have alternative endings. They started this remake trilogy as a sequel with the theme of changing destiny. If they don't change her fate, or at least don't give the possibility to change her fate, then all that was meaningless and would just mean they bend over backwards for a loud obnoxious minority. Zack telling Cloud to save her, only to have her die again is no good. Having a character die doesn't make a story better. You just lose that character and Aerith is a great character to have in your party. So I definitely do want her to come back to the party. If you want her to stay dead, go play the original. This is supposed to be a sequel and should be treated as such.

I would have rather waited for a all 3 parts to be put into one game but then you're talking like a 10 year plus production schedule before we even get a demo. The production time cut down between releases is merely due to reusing animation and various other assets and models that already existed and just bringing them over to the next part. I'd say it saves tons of time not having to build your main cast from the ground up like most sequels do. I could have waited though.
Will they release some kind of complied edition? Or will they likely stay 3 separate games? They will due for a part 1 remaster by the time part 3 comes out.
Rebirth had me in a chokehold early this year and I have yet to find anything close it's level to fill the void. Division 1 has my full faith. They're gonna knock it out the park with part 3.
Jared the 30-year cook for FF7 is looking good. Is remake part 3 comes out in 1997 that would be the 30th anniversary I highly recommend watching all of Maximilian doods "that kind of makes sense". Add my game of the year of 2024 is ff7 rebirth & 2ed is Metaphor.
i have a feeling what they mean is, the death and loss of Aerith in the OG was too much, that you even feel that on AC i think for P3 he is gonna have a ending of all endings and make cloud actually be happy instead of chasing a ghost.
Not complaining about the minigames per se, minus the crunches one. Hated that one with a passion and I thought that the pull ups were bad. I'm hoping that they don't include it again but I wouldn't be surprised. My only true gripe with the minigames was that there were so many. Cut out a few and we're golden. Still, despite my gripes the whole game is amazing and one of my absolute favourites! Might be time for a replay after going through the SAO games
Getting the platinum wasn't so much difficult as it was tedious and annoying. I found myself giving up on the platinum at the very end because I just didn't care anymore.. That is a problem.

@Ali28656 actually no. The whole reason KH became so big is because of its popularity. Next, Square themselves stated you wouldn't have to wait that long for the next main title. Well that is now a lie in a practical sense. Next, they are about to drop 3 full games and haven't made a mention of KH4 after like years of just one trailer.
@SShaBazzz oh Right KH was Square's franchise that saved them in 1987 & put them & JRPG's on the map in 1997 & still keeps the company alive with an MMO i totally forgot makes me wonder why they don't use it more
I have to agree with hamaguchi some of the mini games and the platinum were way too difficult. You have to consider that not every player has the skill and reflexes needed especially older players like myself. I'll be 61 next year and have not been able to complete the Platinum . My fingers simply can't mash the buttons fast enough for the sit up challenge or shoot the targets in the Pirates rampage You have to find the right balance that caters to the majority of players as much as possible.
Even though I didn't like 13 all that much, what the team did for the remake series is just incredible and I would love to see them do a numbered FF game. , I hope they don't go back to turn based combat, I want them to further improve the FF7R combat, it's one of the best combat systems, like add cancelations like cancel an attack with an attack or a guard or a dodge this would make the combat feel more fluid and much better than it already is.
I genuinely bought a PS5 exclusively in waiting for Rebirth. I was not disappointed in the game in the slightest. The chocobo races are my absolute favorite! I love the volume of challenges the game has to offer. Part 3 needs to hit big to meet how well Rebirth went off.
If hamaguchi asked me what one game should be worked on after the third game? I would have told him that a remake of kingdom hearts 1 or kingdom hearts 4 or any kingdom hearts related project
Im ok with minigames as long as they dont make them required for platinum or make them have rewards that unlock other stuff. Just have them give materia that are rare but can be found or baught elsewhere so they remain optional. They could give us a thousand minigames and as long as none of it is required for obtaining specific items or platinum then im fine. I would be fine with an item u get that doesnt do anything but show off that you beat the minigame though. Kinda like the proofs in kh. Just a glorified trophy for your inventory.
Youre supposed to work for that platinum. Keep minigames as trophies. You dont want to do it? Too bad no trophy for you. All your other points are nice though. Keep it optional storywise.
Im just responding to all the comments in general, I like the mingames in Rebirth and many of the other games I've played and have the platinum for rebirth myself, the reason I dont want it to be required for platinum is so I can still have all my minigames and more without all of Twitter crying like babies and causing square to stop giving me cool minigames. I will still play them regardless of if it's required or not. Maybe not if there are 1000 different ones like in my extreme example but over time I'm sure I'd eventually play most of them.
Are they going to patch it so it can be played seamlessly? Is Tifa going to get her true outfit? Are they going to overfill it with dungeons and gauntletts?? Damn people complaining about minigames and difficulty. Too bad they were heard... I wanted the biggest single-player game ever made and the ability to play as Tifa and Vincent...
Aauauggggg did u know I still have not played rebirth even though I preordered a copy and got the game the day it came out, only because I had barely enough time to finish FF7 Remake for the first time the day before. But by then in my excitement i accidentally burnt myself out with the series so I put that on hold, but now im replaying the remake on hard mode (on chapter 9) so at this rate I fear I will never get to play rebirth…. At least it means I’ll be entertained for awhile lmao. I want my first platinum trophy to be FF7 Remake so bad. At least it gives me time to wait while the third comes out/wait for KH4 Great video by the way, thank you for sharing!
Sorry, but the non explanation of Zack and weak story drops the ball for rebirth HEAVILY. The combat is the only thing carrying the game, got a headache once I completed the story.
I loved the game but i was definitely one of the people who wasnt a big fan of all those mini games some were great some were a pain, especially since to make hard mode less tedious you had to master all these mini games to get the rewards that are exclusive to the mini games. I hope part 3 gets sources and materia rebirth but i aint holding my breath at this point though lol

I didnt enjoy any of them because I only cared about the battle system. And it relates to the platinum trophy because I wouldn't mind so much if the trophy was related to only the difficulty of battles, but having it tie to so many dumb minigames I couldn't care less of make it unbearable to finish
Mini games were 🔥. Harked back to the original you probably are a modern gamer which begs the question. Don’t know how yall ready for that but annoyed by mini games in 7 rebirth like bruh make it make sense 🤦🏾♂️
I kinda find hilarious to see so many people surprised by this when it's always been pretty obvious that, for SquareSoft/Enix, FF games have always been much more important than KH ones. It's even quite understandable, after all Final Fantasy is their Never-ending saga, the game that made them great on a global level and the one on which all the historical big shots of the company worked like Sakaguchi or Uematsu who, instead, never worked on KH (and listen, I love Yoko Shimomura like all of you. .. but she was always Square's "backup" composer, the one who made the games not important enough to be given to Uematsu). Hell as absurd as it may seem to us non-Japanese I wouldn't be surprised if, given its popularity in Japan, Dragon Quest is considered, by Square, as important as KH if not even more.
The game is riddled with fun mini games that were well received......yet some people want to complain about having the extra content..... You complain when the game doesnt have enough content, then complain when it has "too much" content....ffs some people cant be made happy and they wont ever find happiness in games, so move on.
Honestly minigames was fine as is, just make all the story relevant ones optional for the people who want just story content. Minigames served nice to destress during a pretty mute/dark story
With rebirth not selling nearly as well as Square hoped it would I’m a little surprised they seem all hands on deck with the third game and not giving their other IPs some love.
If I want to play all FF7 content at the moment, what is the best purchase option? Is it the twin pack?
i have a feeling what they mean is, the death and loss of Aerith in the OG was too much, that you even feel that on AC i think for P3 he is gonna have a ending of all endings and make cloud actually be happy instead of chasing a ghost.
I loved Remake and Rebirth. 100% both games
someone on reddit said that the CEO of square enix said that cloud dumps tifa in part 3.
If there are any piano games, I'm going to cry

so exited for part 3 :)
Wow, if youre a KH fan, you should feel extremely angery right now.
@@SShaBazzz 💀
Getting angry at Square for priortazing they'r most popular franchise over You're Favorite is childish and laughable
My fingers simply can't mash the buttons fast enough for the sit up challenge or shoot the targets in the Pirates rampage
You have to find the right balance that caters to the majority of players as much as possible.
I loved this game so much. I hope so badly that they bring back Queen’s Blood in Part 3
I would love advent children as a game it be so cool
I genuinely bought a PS5 exclusively in waiting for Rebirth. I was not disappointed in the game in the slightest. The chocobo races are my absolute favorite! I love the volume of challenges the game has to offer. Part 3 needs to hit big to meet how well Rebirth went off.
Part 3 will be released n the Birthday of FF in 2027! 😉❤️ 30 Years Celebration
If hamaguchi asked me what one game should be worked on after the third game? I would have told him that a remake of kingdom hearts 1 or kingdom hearts 4 or any kingdom hearts related project
hi TheGamersJoint
I wish to see more of Reeve and Cait Sith.
A platinum trophy is supposed to have you do everything, I hate it when games don't.
@@XenoSamurai bro wants an easy platinum to add to his profile and thought we wouldn't notice.
I'm gonna give this a thumbs down as minigames are basically the fulcrum of FFVII. Requirement to master them only makes sense for Platinum trophy.
People complaining about minigames you know you don't have to play it you understand it's optional these people
I wish I was some top level hacker so I could hack into their systems and read the plot, that’s how badly I’m in need of part 3
At least it gives me time to wait while the third comes out/wait for KH4
Great video by the way, thank you for sharing!
Sorry, but the non explanation of Zack and weak story drops the ball for rebirth HEAVILY. The combat is the only thing carrying the game, got a headache once I completed the story.
cant wait for remake part finale to release
I loved the game but i was definitely one of the people who wasnt a big fan of all those mini games some were great some were a pain, especially since to make hard mode less tedious you had to master all these mini games to get the rewards that are exclusive to the mini games. I hope part 3 gets sources and materia rebirth but i aint holding my breath at this point though lol
FF7:Remake
FF7:Rebirth
FF7:Refantazioer
Are they switching to Unreal 5 for the next game?
But shen is rebirth coming to PC?
Do you know anything about PC release of Part 2?
commenting to see if someone knows
because I'm too lazy to google it
@@Brentonius_III Okay smartass, you google it and let me know what you find. And no, it's not November, 24th 2024, google's automatic answer. Besides that being F**KING YESTERDAY, it references a BS reddit post.
@@Brentonius_III Since YT has deleted both of my responses to you, I will just say such a search does not yield any useful results.
@@wavion2 damn :/
why is it deleting responses?
@@Brentonius_III YT is heavy-handed with censorship these days. But this time it was my fault. I thought you were mocking me for asking instead of googling, so my replies were a bit spicy. So, sorry about that, even if you didn't see them.
I hope they have WAY less mini games in part 3. If I wanted to play endless mini games. I'd buy Mario party, not a big budget JRPG.
I liked them ending I feel like her and zac will be in part 3 in some way, I think we will get some sort of quick preview trailer in summer/autumn next year with coming soon then 2026 another trailer coming 2027
What’s worse is that we don’t have a ps5 support for KH3
For what?
I’m so hyped
Cannot wait for FF7 part 3. Not too big on the kh series anymore because its gone down hill after 2. However, they have been cooking with remake trilogy so heres to the completion of remake and a remake to 8 and 9 as well.
Bugger, I suspected there'd be Rebirth spoilers in the voice over here but I was hoping not
This games awesome starting they deserve the goty award this game and elden ring ❤
Hopefully thats means ffxiii series will get some attention after that because its my favourite ff i still love ffviiR and aerith and cloud but i hope people can play ffxiii games on PS4 and ps5 too ✨
Had some plot spoiled in this video, but that's on me. I clicked on a video for part 3 and rebirth remains installed but not played yet on my ps5
I still need to buy the first one😅😅... Well this is good...
I loved beating people 52-0 in Queens Blood. So I do hope it returns. 😂
I swear if part 3 somehow releases before KH4 I'm gonna be livid
EDIT: after getting to the end of the video, I'm one of the people who complain about the minigames.
How tf you hate rebirth mini games but like the bs in kh to get secret endings??? 🤨 kingdom hearts has literal dog 💩 mini games sections with some beijg wayyy too much. Don’t know how yall ready for that but annoyed by mini games in 7 rebirth like bruh make it make sense 🤦🏾♂️
"Livid?" Really? lol. It must be nice to have this as the biggest obstacle in your life.
@@marcmata5574lol it's just words exaggerated for emphasis
@@ghostofhallownest5300nah KH minigames also suck
Barrets shooting game i struggled with 🫤 I'd imagine it would be infinitely easier on PC with a mouse
well see how this ends up
I kinda find hilarious to see so many people surprised by this when it's always been pretty obvious that, for SquareSoft/Enix, FF games have always been much more important than KH ones.
I hope we get a to see genesis in part 3.
Probably very unpopular opinion, but FF7 Remake is unsalvageable at this point.
They've burned too many bridges.
They had ONE job and they failed.
Oh I would love for them to make a game out of Advent Children wow
Honestly minigames was fine as is, just make all the story relevant ones optional for the people who want just story content. Minigames served nice to destress during a pretty mute/dark story
With rebirth not selling nearly as well as Square hoped it would I’m a little surprised they seem all hands on deck with the third game and not giving their other IPs some love. Like obviously I’m biased I want Kingdom Hearts but even past that, Sqaure gotta be doing better at building their properties up more than they are doing at the moment
