You know what? I think FFVII remake on PS2 might've been amazing, considering square enix have good reputation on that era. They're also good at making games on a limited hardware capabilities.
Hearing about the cancellation of Final Fantasy XI R still hurts me to this day. I was so looking forward to a one player mode of FFXI moreso for the majority of the (real) fanbase to play FFXI and experience it's great story and gameplay even if it was on the crappy mobile. I am hopeful Square will restart the project or give it to somebody like Gembox or something. And also losing FF versus will always find me at a what if thing to me as all we had to drool over were those sweet CGI scenes. I am kinda secretly hopeful of a Square Enix leak so we can get that Final Fantasy 4 for the famicom and any other treats they been hiding away. What they did to FF15 is inexcusable. That game will always remain incomplete. The m0r0ns at the top should of finished completing the game no matter what. They got the sales they wanted the least these fools could do was reward the people for buying the game. But since it was ran by one of the worse CEO in Square Enix history it's sad that this is how things went. I'm kinda glad that the 3D version of FF6 never happened but I am sad that a 3D version of FF5 was never realized because those guys just got tired of working on old stuff which I can understand I mean FF4 3D was superb even the English translation and voice acting were top notch. I just wish they did FF5 3D before quitting because I only want a remake of FF6 given the FF7 trilogy treatment. Also as much as I love the pixel remasters I wish they had included the extra stuff just to make it the definitive version and the scalpers can go to hell knowing such a version exists but nope just waste the work the developers did who worked on those extra's. They could of given an option for players who wanted them or those who wanted to keep it classic.
@Peannlui Hopefully it doesn't end up cancelled like the XI Remake or Vs XIII or whatever else isn't VII. Let me clarify, I do LOVE FFVII. I just love the rest of the franchise too.
From a business point of view, the FF13 Project with the three games is a horrible idea because you are in essence creating 3 AAA games with a similar "JRPG" feel and expect the fanbase to buy into each one. While yes the likes of FF X-2 worked the difference here is that they were different games and more of an afterthought rather than a fully fleshed idea from conception. It's always interesting to see just how human it all is though, that regardless of how popular an IP may be or successful a company they can make absent-minded mistakes that cost them a lot. Like even Spirits Within, I do ponder what their logic was releasing a "final fantasy" that had none of the charm of a final fantasy it is very strange however we can probably say that their failed foray into the movie industry is what lead them to be able to create the amazing cinematics we see today with he series. Granted this also becomes their downfall because they've allowed themselves to fall into the hole of "needing" to be this company that is always on top of technology, which cost a lot of money, one can only hope that if they do have an FF17 in the works that they potentially have the courage to dial back the graphics and just create a memorable experience with an engaging narrative rather than having to worry about needing to be the best AAA graphical game out there.

The only good thing and I hope it never changes. I hope we never get a western Final Fantasy.
You can totally tell they were trying to remake FF 7 and the others for the ps2 cause FFX, and the spin-offs , like dirge of cerberus and crisis core really have lots of those games, also explains why the FF 7 and 8 characters appear in kingdom hearts,
Also ff8 tech Demo for ps2
You know what? I think FFVII remake on PS2 might've been amazing, considering square enix have good reputation on that era. They're also good at making games on a limited hardware capabilities.
ffx2 disagrees
Just imagine if we were currently getting remakes of VII, VIII, and IX. But no, instead, we're getting VII three times. 😮💨
FF9 is getting an anime, so thats something?
@Peannlui Hopefully it doesn't end up cancelled like the XI Remake or Vs XIII or whatever else isn't VII. Let me clarify, I do LOVE FFVII. I just love the rest of the franchise too.
Fastest I've ever been on a ff video lmao
I just accesed your engagement metrics in the system and yes, this is the fastest
I actually would have loved ffvii , viii & ix remake on ps2
Episode Torgal?
W video ffunion
Let's NOT talk about the Fabula Nova Lies.
I wanted to see Class Zero fight Organization XIII.
Final fantasy Xiii versus, is why i buy FF XV day one... Again day one release
The FF XV 2013 or 2014 trailer where kh 3 got first announcement is really why i buy this game.
The journey and gameplay is fine, until somehow i feel somethings feel too different than trailer. Then after that...
I feel scammed
I had such high hopes for Fabula Nova Crystalis...and They butchered them all.
has 'Final Fantasy Origin 2: From Chaos with Love' been cancelled??
Great Lore of FF junkyard. Thanks for the video bud.👍
