    PLEASE READ Hey I used to have panic attacks regularly ! 3/4 a week and I used to be thinking about them all the time , I came across one random video that assured me I would never have one again if I did this trick and if for some reason I did I had to do the trick again and that would be it gone for life …. I was sceptical ! So apperntly because every time you have a panic attack you panic haha like you wash your face with cold water you run out for fresh air you call someone to you phone the docs you run and tell your loved one, well all these things teach your body that when your about to have a panic attack something bad is happening your going to die so you go into the fight or flight which I’m sure you have heard and the trigger for these could be a random jolt in your stomach Vegas nerve or even just by any small trigger like a tingle or a pain or nothing at all it’s just happens for no reason , and way so here is the trick !!!! I want you to next time you feel a panc attack coming on or as soon as it starts no matter where you are sit down close your eyes and imaging your sitting in a chair in the sea with Wellington boots on filled with concrete so you can’t move , I want you to imagine that each wave of the water comes completely over your head is a wave of panic so the panic attack is the waves in the sea and you can feel them wave over. You and you can’t move don’t talk don’t speak sit there and suffer almost I know that sounds harsh and it will probably be the worst 5-20minutes of your life Literally it was for me. ,(or if they last longer sit for as long as they last doing this method they should be shorter with this method ) by doing this you instantly rewrite your brain into realising that you don’t need to have the same response when things happen in your body and that you are not dying you are safe , I promise you that this works and not only that I promise you anxiety does not last forever I succeed with it for two years at worst couldn’t leave the house and I’m 31 and everything going for me in life but that made no difference it held me back ! Soon as I got rid of the pannic attacks I then focused on my anxiety believe it ot not I done Cbt therapy hypnotherapy just two sessions cost me £80 for each one I’m not sure if it was hypnotherapy that works but it was like mindfulness meditation basically and that does work and I also done cbt therapy from my doctor was a online thing , I’m now anxiety and panic attack free . Wish you and any one who reads this the best ! It does get better and will get better the old you will be back in no time , “And in time this too shall pass”.
    My names like robinson I’m a real person I live in Scotland , I’m not botherd if people who know me read this for the first time and realise it’s me as alot of my friends didn’t know I was suffering but now I just want to share this to help other this really did work so spread the world help other I never stoped searching online for all these tricks methods and even came across a lot of people wanting you to pay them it’s sick follow these steps and you can be anxiety free
    I did this twice the pretending to be in the sea thing and I’ve not had a panic attack for two years now !! And like I said I was getting them on the regular for no reason !
    And I know people will say there is no way I can do that sit still and fell that I’m claustrophobic or I just can’t ! But you can ! And if you can do it , it will work you’ll. be sweating the lot feeling like shit but also you will feel some relief once you get though the excesrsize
    (Also just for note I had health anxiety went though the whole being at the docs with my heard and done a million tapes and ecg ect being at the docs all the time for everything and I’ve over come that side of it too so it downs pass !)

This one talked me down before the video was even over and I can't thank you enough for that. I was able to sit up and eat something which in turn also helps me. I'm currently eating and after each bite I remind myself to relax whatever has tensed back up, and I take the next bite. i was on 37.5mg paroxetine. was self hypontised i think to have panic and anxiety 24*7 along with believeing my irrational beliefs like ill fall off aplane or the earth. the fact is that if you are aware that you are in panic and have extereme anxiety, your true self is pristine and untouched. nothing can touch it. out of what i now see as basic exercises on mindfullness and self talk and dialogue, i reversed that and even went off medication. you can, and will do it too eventually.

    Hi, I've been really scared and anxious lately as I had this burning sensation on my upper abdomen and sometimes on my chest as well. It made it difficult for me to breathe sometimes, I went to hospital and they said it was gastritis which is a stomach problem. 2 days later I went to hospital again because I was having aching and sharp pains around my chest, sometimes it would be on the left, sometimes on the right and sometimes on the centre. I also noticed my heart beating and can feel and am aware of it more (palpitations) and it made me more anxious. When I went to hospital for the second time they did two ECGs and chest xray and said that I have no problems. But still I have doubts for some reason and always feel anxious and scared that there's a problem with me. Sometimes the aching feeling can go to my back, shoulders and arm and I always think that it's a heart problem or something. This only happened because I got gastritis and it's caused me to become very anxious and scared. I'm only 15 as well 😢

I felt so good and finally didn't have to worry about this crap anymore. But this definitely was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in terms of physical and mental health. Nothing could convince me and I constantly thought I was gonna actually get a heart attack for sure which made me so scared because all of these panic and anxiety symptoms link very well to heart attacks and both seem so similar. First off, check at your doctor if your health is good. If that is the case, then you are not dying. You can not die from a panic attack. Ive had them for over 15 yrs and nothing happens except the horrible feeling. Which is shit enough on its own i know. Start reading about them. Especially books by Dr Claire Weekes, her book 'Self help for your nerves' made me cry because she really knows what she is talking about. But it also gives hope. Also read books by Dr Joe Dispenza, Esther & Jerry Hicks, Eckhart Tolle etc. You got this❤

      Remember: the panic attack is coming, "climbing" higher and higher, until it reaches a plateau. It might be scary at first, but that's when the panick attack starts to "go down" and become weaker and weaker. If you are aware of this "movement", you can overcome it. It's only a "scare crow", nothing else. Believe me!❤

      I'm so sorry it's that severe at times! I've been there. Sometimes a cold shower, though really uncomfortable, gives me a super intense feeling that somewhat helps me snap out of it.

    The help that your channel has given me recently is absolutely unbelievable! Can’t thank you enough, but these last few days I’ve found absolutely crippling with panic and anxiety and my tablets I’m trying everything and can’t seem to keep my mind focused on anything, is there anyway of messaging you? It would be greatly appreciated! Even if not a reply would be great! Thank you Martin!

      Hi Callum. Unfortunately I am no longer able to offer one on one counselling. Instead I just try to help people who are struggling with anxiety through my videos. However there are lots of good counsellors/therapists out there who like me have trained in CBT. Most countries/states have a register of therapists.

    Sucks when your doctors don't wanna help you and pharmacy refuse to refill your meds etc you gotta resort to alternative methods such as this. :( Been struggling with sleepless nights lately for the past week and it sucks. Hate insomnia and panic disorder. :(

    Just wondering if this is hypnotherapy to stop panic attacks from happening altogether? Thanks xx

    • @TheAnxietyAttic
      @TheAnxietyAttic  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hypnosis is one tool that can be used in the treatment of panic attacks. The effect of hypnosis varies from person to person. Some people are highly suggestable and will benefit more from hypnosis but most people gain some level of benefit. I have seen people stop panic attacks with hypnotherapy alone. However when it comes to panic attacks research shows that the most effective treatment is CBT. But CBT exercises can be quite hard so some people quit. Combining CBT with hypnosis can make them easier. Studies also show that hypnosis can enhance the effects of CBT. This is why on my channel I make videos that teach CBT and hypnosis. The suggestions used in this hypnosis reinforce what you learn in my CBT series for panic attacks. (link here ruclips.net/video/21fp9HLBqqI/видео.html). Basically I try to provide all the tools to help people stop their panic attacks which is quite possible.

      On my channel I provide a number of different tools for anxiety disorders. Although for some people hypnosis has a big effect, for most a combination of CBT and hypnosis is the most effective approach. The hypnosis should be used during the systematic desensitisation phase of CBT to make the tasks easier. Here is a link to the most comprehensive video I have on CBT for panic disorder ruclips.net/video/4IPMbY-5g6w/видео.html
