Hey guys! So I am witnessing the amount of support that ive been gaining from this video recently! First off. THANK YOU! Secondly, Im not sure where to go at this point.. While ive been gaing a good amount of views from these reactions lately, ive been uploading videos of gaming recently. Which leads me to a conundrum. Should i continue uploding these reactions while doing gaming??? or.... idk. wth. But regardless i want your opinion on the matter. Thanks to you for taking your time out to watch a couple of my videos. It means so much to me given where i am in life. God Bless.
NEPHU. Does need to be mumbled in auto tune?
Post a reaction video of Rage Against The Machine Rollin' Down Rodeo if you want to hear one of their best.
NEPHU. Music reactions are a big trend now I would focus mainly on music reactions but that dosent mean you can’t upload gaming videos on the side
Music reactions bruh. More views no doubt.
Yo, from their first show they killed it.
Zach and RATM drop more knowledge in one verse, than a mumble rapper in his whole career.
That’s so true!
Everyone in the crowd looks identical because it's 93, everyones on that grunge look
Also, the pixels help a lot.
and the mud they are all covered with!
And at pinkpop in the netherlands
@Modimous Prime, I saw them in '92 @ an outdoor venue. Everyone one of us did look the same, myself included lol.
Rage ain’t grunge!
"It's a crowd of hair!"
That was 1993, honey.
You try to knock someone out in the pit, you be leaving in pieces. You'll be hamburger meat.
Just not done, and you buy the beer if you draw blood, or you did in my day.
I've actually seen it happen. Bad idea. There was blood everywhere.
very true, had a friend get knocked out at a disturbed gig, free drinks all night. accidents happen.
Go to a wutang concert and yell that wutang is weak you’ll get your...well...put it this way. I dare you to go to a Wutang show and diss them, the security won’t have your back.
Why would anyone do that? I was talking about the pit, not being an ass...if you aren't into something that's cool, but you have no need to ruin it for others.
Zach was one of the best activists out there. He used his platform to bring awareness to things I never would have known about otherwise. Modern day artists need to take note. I think mainstream music is too controlled now, you don't hear lyrics like this anymore.
Yo he's not dead yet, and he's still ragin look him up
@Jessica Crammer, yes, he was indeed. He is one of the most powerful activists around by delivering messages that people don't want to hear about or take notice of. "If ignorance is bliss, then knock the smile off my face". That is one of my favorite quotes ever. So, much said in one sentence. Most modern day artists don't know this sentiment, even though all they have to do is turn on the TV. This world needs to listen to Zach! He knows what the he's talking about. ✌❤
I was there! It was at a festival in the Netherlands, and this concert actually registered on the scale of richter as a mild earthquake. 60.000 people can shake the earth
Please react to Rage Against The Machine - Bulls On Parade live
I've reacted to that master piece since 1997 when i was in seventh grade
Rage against the machine was sent by the gods to warn the white elites
The singe, Zak de laroca is Latino. After he said all that he could say about government corruption, police brutality, wars without reason, racial dischord, and media lies, he just walked away from music. If you can't be down with this band who fought so hard for the rights of minorities across the globe, shame one you! Aannnd, if that beat don't rock ass off, stop this page, home, cause you don't like music.
"Why does everyone in the crowd look the same?"
somehow i feel i wouldnt be allowed to ask that at a rap show
I would I would be like why does everyone have tats on the faces lol.
He b a bit racial
All whites look alike
All blacks look alike
All Asians look alike
There I said it . .. did it really hurt that bad
What have you been living under a rock. I'm 48 years old. Grew up with this but I also grew up with Dr Dre and Alice in Chains. You seem a bit ignorant or even a little racist. Expand your horizons brother, all races have something artistic to offer. This is more than rap out there. From Jazz to R&B to rock to metal and so on. Just saying look further than your environment.
who would even go to a "hip hop" show in these times ? nonsense and no stage presence
Rage was very political read tbeir lyrics itll make u appreciate them more
I envy anyone who is just now discovering rage for the first time. If you’re a hip hop fan you’ll absolutely dig it. I could watch people hear it for the first time all day.
Dang!I forgot how good Rage is. True musicians. Thanks for the video.
You are missing half the music with one earplug. STEREO....
React to "know your enemy"
THE best song imo
best rage riff EVER!
Good call.
Woodstock 1999 "know your enemy" live is ridiculous.
The best concert I’ve ever been to. They are electric. The 90s were amazing 💚💚💚
Punch someone out ? Ok and then get curbed stomped by 20 thousand Doc Martens !
I recently discovered this song, and the whole band, they're great.
Julio cesar Chairez welcome then
Wow! Someone's been living under a rock
Welcome to the family! RAtM was so far ahead of its time. Zach can spit bars, and Morello is a guitar god.
rage against the machine take the power back
Dillon Hernandez yes!
FUCK YES.
Best bass riff ever
Hes not rasta!!!! Fckn revolutionary! We were about something in the 90's.
He is chicano
He also has African, Jewish, Irish and German blood. Don't just pick one. Norte Americano, mutt. Not just chicano. All races revolutionize.
"Why everybody look the same? They all got long hair."
The 90's was a weird time man.
Yes. Really fucking weird.
Zach de la Rocha (lead singer) is Mexican 🤘🏽
You should listen to their Album “battle for Los Angeles”. Songs Testify, sleep now with the fire, Maria
RATM is a band that sings against political and social corruption. They are quite good
The reaction when hes saw the guitar skills tho. Lmao
Lol the lead singer is a Mexican and the guitarist is black
"It was just a crowd of hair bro.."
I died 😂😂🤣😂🤣
You react to rock or metal and metal heads are definitely gonna be watchin to see what youre about lol thats why im here i can tell you that. He aint lying, you'll get more subs that's for sure
Cause Timmy C kills it on the bass
Love to see young guys catch the old flame of Rage...still relevant today. Get it
Listen to the words! His other songs. You should know this band. Yep, we punched the shit out of each other in the pit...but were the first to help each other.
Another good song to react to by Rage against the machine -
People of the sun 👍👍
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
You just herd legends
I feel like everyone in the band is fantastic at their thing, but Brad Wilk just KILLS drumming. As a drummer myself, his pocket is absolutely insane.
Concerts were more turnt up back then because NO CELL PHONES to distract people...#realtalk
React to
Rage against the machine-
Bulls on Parade
Nice that you opens your ears to this, been a metalhead since early 80s but also listen to some rap (lately:).. Its all about the drive
Ima sub cause of this vid homie, keep widening your music knowledge
Yep real Instruments real talent not samples and beats
wake up by rage against the machine.
MORE RAGE!!!
He said “ I don’t know why “ rock concerts are so hyped. I don’t know why any one would say that...
Michael Castro ok
I was lucky that I got to see them live twice, once in 96 & again in 98. Even in an era that was filled with great live bands at the top of their game, they always stood out for their originality, passion, amazing musicianship & energy on stage. I had several black marks the day after, but it was all worth it.
I love your reactions! This band is for real, All those people jumping into each other is called a mosh pit.
I think this concert was in 1993.. Subscribed.♥️
Thanks! I actually did another rage reaction. Killing in the name is the song. Try checking that out as well :) thanks for subbing 😎
Nicki, Bieber, The Megos, and all the other mumble rappers and their shit fans...THIS IS MUSIC. Rage 4 EVER 🤘
Lmao ur mans said its a crowd of hair...lmao that shit had me dying for like 10 mins str8
Metal has this little known secret called, A Mosh Pit.
That is why there is so much energy in Metal.
Sir, this band as you have mentioned.. never listened too.. I would highly and I mean highly recommend listening too.
All of their music speaks of many things rap once was created to do. However, rap music nowadays speaks primarily of materialism (most, not all) compared to music like KRS One, Dead Prez, Public Enemy and much more in which this band can relate.
Respect though for checking out an amazing band!
Rage is a trip. Lots of backstory and they rock. Music brings us together. Sub'd.
Thanks for playing that i subbed
Dude rock has been around for a long time! It’s always high powered and loud and bad ass!
Id you understand this band's ideas then you are on the right track but what do I know. I'm just a grocery clerk.
Then you know exactly what RATM is saying actually... :)
Rage Against The Machine - Sleep now in the fire
Fun fact, lead guitarist went to Harvard & perfected his craft while still in school. Got a normal job after graduating but soon after said fuck that and joined rage 🤟
This band was ahead of its time from Los Angeles,CA what people don’t know is their background guitarist Tom Morello African American his grandfather was Jomo Kenyatta first elected Kenyan President. Also lead singer is Mexican American father was an artist, muralist part of the 4 chicanos to have a exhibition LACMA
tome morello the guitarist is in guitar hero
Rage Against - Know Your Enemy
Pantera - Walk
Rah Beats. WALK has my vote
The lead singer “Zach De La Rocha” is one of the most charismatic frontmen ever. Nobody can sound angry like him.
1:40 It's because rock and metal concerts tend to be less of a fashion show in the audience. Nobody's trying to act cool and chill, nobody's worried about keeping their Yeezies fresh.
Half asleep zombie who knows nothing about music reacts to a bunch of talented musicians, bringing the funk, bringing the blues rock riffs, bringing the metal and a rapper with vocal dexterity, verbal ferocity and a message.
but, he knows guitar hero tho!!?! He wants to broaden his horizons, ya know? Lol I'm not even sure how I stumbled onto this dude, worst one so far!
I blame the fine brothers. Kids react to, old people react to... It's lucrative right now. Black guys listening to metal. I I get it. White people are curious, they want to know if black people will be converted if they are exposed to what they regard as better music. They wonder why black people don't seem to like rock music, and especially rock music with funk, rap or hip hop elements. But man is it painful to watch sometimes, The sheer laziness and cynical opportunism of these videos. Lazy guys who don't know anything about music attempting to describe music.
YES.. That is what pissed me off really...I do have one guy I subbed a while back...but you hit it straight, when you said " the sheer laziness ans cynical opportunism" and this cat right here is the epitomy of that sentence! As a music lover far and wide, you have no idea how my heart hurt when this cat mentioned guitar hero...Are kids not getting ANY musical exposure other than THAT!?
look at my past videos. lol
You ain't lying....
He's Mexican!
Rage Against the Machine is the most culturally important band from the last 25 years.
This is in the Netherlands, it's a three day event held on a national holiday and it's called pinkpop. It's still happening every year. Check it out.
Do Rage Against the Machine - Bombtrack, Know Your Enemy, or Take the Power Back
Nothing like the sound quality of one earbud. Is that a American flag dress he is wearing?
Margin Walker ya I wouldn’t watch a
Movie with an eye patch on. It’s obvious he doesn’t know any better. He’s literally getting half of the song. I don’t understand how he can enjoy music like that. But if he wants to be stupid, it’s his channel.
If you wanna know where Rage Against the Machine got their groove from, check out a band called "Urban dance Squad" who basically pioneered what Rage became known for.
Check out their songs "Fast lane", "Grand black citizen" and "Demagogue"
I was dying when he said everyone in the crowd looked the same lmao
react to Tool - 46 & 2 please
Yo u got a new sub, you should react to People of the Sun by Rage Against the Machine. It has more of a Hip-Hop feel to it. It’s all amazing
KHABIB 2k ya that’s a great song.
Evil Empire was more Hip Hop/ Gangsta Rap influence.
Rage is dope. They blend hip hop and metal. Singer is Mexican the guitarist is black and white. They played a lot with Public Enemy, Wu-Tang and Cypress Hill back in the day.
This is awesome. Was this song requested by Marcus Smart from the Boston Celtics? I don't see any comments that anyone got that. As a huge Rage fan and Celtics fan that makes me love Smart even more. Dope song choice also. The whole Rage debut album is fire.
You realize that black people invented rock music right?
it would offend me if it was the other way around. but if so thats cool
NEPHU. Yeah rock originated from a mix of jazz, blues and swing, which were all genres started by African Americans. Rock developed in the very late 40s and early 50s exclusively by blacks. White people didn't come into the picture until the mid 50s, and kinda took over the genre unfortunately. This lead most African American musicians to other genres, such as funk for example, which itself actually morphed into hip hop in the late 70s. Anyway you should check out some more rock sometime, but as a fan of hip hop myself as well, I like your channel nonetheless (:
i do agree how ever the metal genre which is a subgenre of rock but heavier was created by white people bands like Led Zepplin and Black Sabbath. but there are dope as hell metal bands that are fronted by african metal bands like the era of Howard Jones in Kilswitch Engage and his new band Light The Torch and the full african american bands like Living Colour. another great african american fronted metal bands are Straight Line Stitch, Sevendust and then in the punk rock scene you got Bad Brains. i feel music is so diverse that it brings people together. i think it should be. there is so much division and hatred between the african american and white communities that music is a place of healing for both. i have alot of friends that are african american that i love and will defend till the day i die and would love to go to metal concerts with
MezmerPlague 👍well said man
@@oMarcus2Ko the other way around? rock music inventing black people?
Smoke some weed and put on Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Listen to it from the first song to the last song don't stop it and don't skip songs. Its more than music its an experience.
More like acid haha
Arm the Homeless, he's said in an interview is his favorite. That instrument is called Tom Morello.
Dawg, the singer is a proud Native American from Mexico, their whole influence was hip hop and punk rock, the two last “fuck the system” types of music.
The guitarist Tom morello as well is a serious freedom fighter, they really really important in this generation. Truly revolutionary
Get schooled son.
Kudos for opening your horizons! I like to do that too. I grew up with Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple etc. From rhythm & blues to rock & roll and beyond. But I still dig classical music, jazz and well anything that sounds good. *Genre* is a swear word for me!
I give you props for just having an open mind.
More Rage Against the Machine!!!
Please more Rage!!
Guitarist is actually half Kenyan half white. His father was Kenya's first ambassador to the UN. The frontman is half Mexican half white.
Epic band. Do Bulls on Parade next.
"Why does everyone in the crowd look the same" hahaha
Look at a rap gig and tell me everyone doesn't look the same. Use a little more intelligence on your casts brotha. " why do they all look the same" guess thats what i get for watching.
you are entitled to your own opinion. thanks for watching :)
And so are you. Im just pointing out that before you mock or categorize people think first of what your saying. Of course they all looked the same. They were all young white people of a specific generation. When viewed from a distance they undeniably looked they the same. As would black, asian, mexican ect... youths. Try being a little more open minded and concentrate on the music not the people playing or attending. Otherwise liked your take. Keep em coming. Peace✌
Lol. Wtf! Most people go to a live show to listen to the music. Not to see or be seen. Your comment made zero sense. Why go to a live show? Lets here it, why do you go to a live show? Im on the edge of my seat.
How many rage gigs have you been to buddy? Ive seen them 10 plus times. And unlike you i was there for the music. Im not wasting my time dealing with a guy who claims to be something hes not and never will be. Nice puppy
No Way. Lol figured most people wouldnt take me so literally. I thought making a parody using his mindset would shed light on how other people might view what he said. Your comment made me laugh though. Peace brotha.
react to Urban dance squad
Lead singer is Mexican and the guitarist is Biracial. Legendary group man
Remember this is not 2019 its times before cell phones. Those were better times
Killing in the name is their best song.
Most known? Definetely. The best? Far from it.
Maritn Cortez Agree. Maybe because of stage in my life when I first heard it
Killing in the Name is their most popular song. Not their best.
nah... bulls on parade.... raw
I’d go with Township Rebellion personally because it’s so unique in the sense that it changes direction like 3 times. Killing In the Name doesn’t showcase Zack’s lyrics at all.
Dont react anymore to ratm. Its over your head. Stick with Drake and the weekend :)
Julz Jam ...shutup
One of the best rappers that ever lived.
The scream from 5:59-6:01 was so fucking hard.
all white group... i guess the bassist is white? wtf does it matter what their ethnicity is anyway
He didn't say it mattered
You notice ever since that densely curry dude covered bulls on parade all these black people doing reaction videos on ratm?
Don't forget my dude.RATM was Woke before it was "cool"
It's cool to see people discover Rage Against the Machine for the first time, but growing up from like age 13 with this, it's crazy to see how many people don't just hear them inevitably at some point. shit am I already that old?
Loved them back in the days still love them now.
At that time he was 20 something, he was on a stage with tons of people facing, in the meantime you’re on the sofa and watching bro 😂
mmmm, not a great reaction. Open your mind young man, understand who and what you were listening to. You only scratched the surface.
Haha I just graduated high school when they filmed this! Lmao
I feel bad for people who never had the experience to see Rage in concert live in the 90s. Nothing like a Rage concert!
Listen to everything man. Every type of music has something different to appreciate.
This is RATM at Pinkpop 1993 in the Netherlands if I am not mistaken. AND I WAS THERE up front in the pit, will never forget this gig!!!
Check the Urban Dance Squad, they played right before RATM on that day. They inspired RATM to their way of music they even thank them on the back of their album. There is footage of that gig on RUclips to. Search Urban Dance Squad, Pinkpop you'll find it.
Great video man
Zack del rocha lead singer of rage collabed with KRS-one and they did a tour with public enemy! The message is all in the same lane!
You don't have to be into rock to like Rage against the Machine you have to be into the message.
💯
Your on the rite path opening up to different. I'd party from Dmx, and then Rage 30 mins later. Gives you everybodies perspective, only to realize we all have the same perspective, just expressing it thru different styles
