No doubt Tim’s bass is crazy. Do you know if Zack writes all the lyrics and who writes the music?? They split royalties equally so I can’t find a breakdown of writing credits. The last Audioslave album almost didn’t get made because Chris want more writing royalties because he wrote more of the songs. But the socialist commy pinkos didn’t budge and Chris gave in. Any writing info would be great.
Those four humans onstage together unleash a sonic force of nature when they play. I've seen dozens of bands live, even Motorhead, nobody comes close to rage for total spiritual commitment to their performance. There is a video of them playing to a crowd of less than 100 at a music store and they brought the same level of intensity as they do in front of 10,000.
I was in a live of ratm concert back in 2000 in Athens. At 21:00 began the concert, at 21:30 were 2 police cars and a Coffeeshop in flames!! Although, he concert was amazing!
I was 7 when I went to my first Rage show. One of the most horrifying/greatest things I’ve ever seen. My dad and I were right outside the pit and saw a fight breakout next to us every song. But I couldn’t take my eyes off of the stage to witness greatness.
It’s kind of sad that Zack De La Rocha never had that type of energy, anger and intensity on stage ever again in RATM’s later years when his voice got more lower as shown during the periods of “Evil Empire” and “Battle of Los Angeles.”
Please please react to Bruce Springsteen & Tom Morello covering London Calling (by the Clash) &/or Ghost of Tom Joad. 2 of the best live perfomrances I ever saw & in my opinion the best guitar solos.
@@moodfm5673 rage has.. they used to be about taking the power back from the government and not forcing people to do things they don't want to do.. now they advocate being submissive to the government and just follow along like a good little sheep.. a lot of artists are the complete opposite what they were nowadays because "woke"
You say preforming... They're definitely not performering. They're the real deal. I dont believe they set out to entertain the masses unlike the younger generation you're probably apart of. I could be wrong. Just my opinion
The bass player was playing with a broken foot - it is in a boot.. Their energy is amazing. There is a video of that whole concert. Check it out.
Zack is not “performing” he believes every word and he’s pissed off!!!! His passion for social justice, equality, etc etc embodies his whole person
To Morello is a legend. However i think Brad Wilk and Tim C get overlooked and they are great as well. One of the best bands ever.
Tom Morello makes squeaky noises, those 2 turn it into music

Rage concerts in the 90s were off the hook. Mosh pits were ridiculous. then again, late 80s and early 90s produced ridiculously amazing music

I was there. It was in Holland. It was mindblowing.
I never heard sounds of a guitar and also of a bass before. Scrachting like a DJ. That's really amazing.
You got to check out Bullet in the Head by these guys at the same performance. Believe it or not it’s crazy too!
One of my favorite Rage songs
Bullet in the head same gig. Pink pop. Makes that song look like a nursery ryme.

Age will do that to you. Don’t have the same energy at 30 you do at 21
I don't think his voice got lower during that era. Listen to him at the Tibetan freedom concert in 99. His voice was still high.
Ah yes that was the 90s. I had a blast
Where are my Rage Against the Machine Brothers and Sisters ? Keep Strong .
At the end..Look at this graph 😂
Rage against the Machine/Prophets of Rage....damn,how i miss these Moshpits !!!!
