This is funk, punk, metal, rock, Pop 💪🏼💪🏼 they sold 450,000 copies in one week then went Double platinum.they are one of the greatest protes bands of our generation,s.❤❤❤❤
Try "No Shelter" by RATM Also check out "UnFuck the World" by Prophet's of Rage Or "Like A Stone" a tribute to Chris Cornell. With Serj Tankian of SOAD doing the vocals Only concert I've been to other than friends bands at clubs, was at the Blossom with Cheap Trick, Heart and Journey performing together
Check out "No Shelter" - their label forced them to make a track for the 90's Godzilla soundtrack and so they went off on the entertainment industry. "Maria" is also a great track that might be Zach's best pure poetry.
One of the best rage songs. I always picture a fist just made of steel covered in skin clocking someone. I mean duh, it’s called fist full of steel but for can you imagine getting popped by a fist made of solid steel?!
RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE - ASHES IN THE FALL!! I am a huge RATM fan. I would say this song displays Zach's poetry, and Tom's futuristic guitar work at it's best and most vivid. This is EASILY their best song. I don't say that lightly. EVERY band member is on full display here. Everything was left on the table. It should also be the "social consciousness" theme song for 2020!
Hey from Kentucky always staying lucky! I enjoy your reactions and watching you become a fan of some of the greatest influences of our lifetime. Rage just kills it every time, I was 13 when they were on this tour probably one of my biggest regrets in life was not being born sooner. Top 3 gotta be TOOL because we all know why, largest and loudest show by far, the sound was pristine and no lie the bass is so strong it changed the beating of my heart to the beat of the song. Seeing Lana Del Rey with my daughter would be a close second just because that whole experience meant more than just music to us, getting to have LDR sing songs that we’ve jammed to on rode trips or thru heartbreaks was surreal. And third is Nonpoint, not a well known band but they rock out, Bullet with a Name is their most known track check it out! I was front row with my now ex at their show and in the middle of the song my ex drops his phone, the lead singer stops singing gets off the stage picks up the phone, hands it to my ex and plants a kiss right on his cheek, gets back on stage and continued the show lol Yes you gotta go see some live music, I have been to so many I’ve lost count, all kinds of genres and venues.
top three live performances: 1. Foo Fighters 2. Rage Against The Machine 3. Nine Inch Nails side note: i saw rage in 2007 at rock the bells in NY. ( i started a mosh pit during 'know your enemy") wu tang clan, public enemy, the roots, cypress hill, mos def, murs, immortal technique, epmd, and jedi mind tricks also performed!
I saw The Roots open for Rage in 1997 while I was in high school. I got grounded for being home late but it was the best concert I have been to and was well worth the punishment.
Happy birthday RAH! I was in elementary school when this song came out man. Rage was like nothing else out there at the time. Tom Morello's guitar style is so unique. I've heard him say he was trying to mimic the sound's DJs make when they scratch records. I've been to a lot of concerts that were amazing but the most memorable for me was 5 bands with a freak show in between sets including a woman swallowing swords, penguin boy (a little guy with no arms but hands growing out of his shoulders,) a guy that ate glass, and other crazy stuff. The bands were Bury Your Dead, Suicide Silence, Static-X, Mudvayne, and Black Label Society. I got to meet one of the vocalists from an old band called Green Jelly. He was there selling belt buckles that he makes and other novelty items. We were talking to him for a while before he told us who he was. I also got to meet the members of Bury Your Dead and Suicide Silence. They were signing t shirts. Also Static-X announced that they would be selling wrist bands that had a USB flash drive on them with their part of the concert on it and some extras from back stage and the tour bus for $20. I had to get one! That was the only concert I've ever been to that did that. You asked if it's loud at concerts. It's so loud that you can feel the bass in your chest from far away. I'm curious what you would think of Static-X. If Wayne Static were still alive he would call their genre Evil Disco. It's like metal with an electronic vibe to it. I recommend listening and possible reacting to Static-X Push It.
“Step into the jam and I’ll slam it like shaquille” Always loved that bar from Zack. Saw KRS-ONE last year when he toured the U.K and he is on a completely different level to anyone else. Let the gig feeling I’d been given an education lesson.
Top three concerts for me: Rammstein, NIN with Soundgarden and 30 Seconds to Mars with Taproot and Chevelle. Also back in the day the Family Values tour was good times.
I’ve seen Rage a few times but the best one was here in Wash DC at a small club called The Capitol Ballroom at the time, where Chuck D of Public Enemy opened up and the room fit only a few hundred people. It was insane but the best show ever in 1994. I’m old but keep up the Rage Reactions cause I love that a whole new generation is discovering them!
From Los Angeles. Top 3 concerts I’ve been to, #1Coachella (1st year) with Tool and Rage!, #2 L.A. Rising show with Rage (front row), #Rage at the Hollywood Palladium (front row)! You can’t beat Rage’s energy at their shows. And I’ve seen, KISS, Korn, Metallica, TOOL, System of a Down, Megadeth, Slayer, Guns N Roses, Deftones, Rob Zombie, Godsmack (comes close to one of my favorite shows), Black Sabbath (older Ozzie), Santanta, Ozomatli, and a bunch of others.
Brother, after you take on their music and vibe you should go for the lyrics version, Zach is so underrated as an MC the dude spits PURE TRUTH ON FIRE.
Best concert = May '93, seeing RATM, with Tool opening, closely followed by Feb '93 Alice In Chains touring the Dirt album, and Pantera that same month, all in Scotland on their headline tours. I've lost count of how many bands i've seen but those are probably the top 3.
Dude I love that you've been doing the lyrics at the end of these and putting your own style on 'em. That's awesome man. Out of the ones I don't think you've done yet, try these out: 1. Take The Power Back (funky as hell!) 2. Bombtrack 3. Calm Like A Bomb 4. People of The Sun (I think you might have fun rapping this one) 5. Year of the Boomerang (This one seems like it would be fun to rap too)
1) Originally Portland, OR, but now Idaho 2)Top Rage Song is Ashes in the Fall. It'd be dope to get a react video for that one. After that it's Microphone Fiend, Born of a Broken Man, Calm Like a Bomb, Pistolgrip Pump, Down Rodeo, and Wake Up. Best Concert was Roger Waters performing The Wall. Guitar solo in concert on Comfortably Numb made me hear feedback in my own eardrums 😂
Idaho. My top 5 RATM (currently) Wake Up, Know Your Enemy, Killing in the Name, Bulls on Parade, Down Rodeo. Top 3 Concerts: Metallica, Rolling Stones, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals.
Really? The intro reminded me of 5 Minutes Alone by Pantera. Sydney, Australia. Wake Up. (Underrated song) Best concert: Big Day Out 1996, Sydney. RAtM headlined.
Maggie’s Farm is a cover that RATM KILLED. Highly recommend it. It’s a great song to play when you quit your job lmao. Haven’t got to all your vids, but if you haven’t checked out Slipknot yet, you’re missing an entire section of the metal scene. Their early stuff is going to probably go harder than anything you’ve heard in your life up until this point. “Eyeless” or “Spit It Out” I think would be right up your alley. Keep the (Sic) reactions coming man
Best 3 # 3 Nine Inch Nails - Maple Leaf Gardens, # - 2 Nirvana - Lee's Palace and # 1 93 Lolapalloza and on that bill was Rage Against the Machine, Tool, Alice and Chains, Primus, Fishbone and Dinosaur JR.
My top 3 shows I've been to. - Nine Inch Nails at Woodstock 94-legendary performance. - Rage Against the Machine 1993 opening for Cypress Hill on a small club tour. - Slayer Unholy Alliance Tour 2006. I've seen each of these bands 6-7 times and have never seen a bad performance by any of them.
I'm from West Virginia, I love every rage song and Aerosmith, and the other concerts I've been to you've probably never heard of, but ima gonna see rage next year
Birthday weeks are the best. I feel the music of most bands. My list Always Changes as Well. RAGE Has so many great Banger's!"And Mad Boy Grips The Microphone With A Fistful Of Steel" 🤘😏 Not been able to do the concert thing in a while. But if I could chose 2 That In reality cannot happen. It would be to see Pantera before Dime & Vinne past. That would have been the greatest. Or Chris Cornell. May they RIP and their Legacy live on!
Prophets of Rage in London England. (Members of Rage against the machine, Cypress Hill's BREAL and Chuck D from Public Enemy) seen em 3 times! Insane bro
Top 3: Stevie Ray Vaughan '86; Ministry '89; Johnny Cash '94. I could do a top 3 for every genre and keep changing them every day. I saw so many punk/hardcore band in the early '80s and I don't know where to even start with those gigs …
Queens of the Stone Age 2003 - perth, Western Australia Bass player came out naked for the encore, completely destroyed the set, instruments and got kicked out of the band! Rage against the machine 07 big day out Tool 2009.
Listening to you just improvise and rap Zach's lyrics in your own rhythm was more interesting than any Rage cover I've heard. People try to cover RATM by out-RATM-ing RATM, and that probably won't happen because RATM's sound is so unique. But making a cover your own makes it interesting and brings something new to the song (Like RATM's own covers of tracks like Ghost of Tom Joad and Pistol Grip Pump.) I'd love to hear RATM hip-hop covers just using Zach's lyrics and your own flow, and modern hip-hop beats. Make the cover your own.
Check audioslave with cris cornell R.I.P one of the best rock vocalist seven nation army chris killed it along with tom it is white stripes originally but audioslave did it even better live at hultsfred 2003 performance sounds good as audio banger
Ahhh... GWAR, RAtM and GG Allin .. never got to see those acts in my younger years. ( not that I was a GGA fan, just wanted to see the chaos) - Almost did but Seattle PD shut down the show before it started.
I cant believe i haven't seen a reaction to pantera yet.... at least it aint been suggested by RUclips, but if it's not there..... why, if you ain't done it yet.. domination by Pantera, preferably the live Moscow version, you will not be disappointed... but im disappointed in the comment section for not suggesting Pantera yet..... why??? Goobers
I'm gonna answer your question its gonna have to be five though. I wish I could do more. This would be way too long though Bad religion@ riotfest in Chicago. Aquabats also@ riotfest. Parliament funkadelic ( every show) The supertones( you cant see them now but great.) Sturgil Simpson @bonnaroo 2014
Best shows of bands that are still together would be Korn,Deftones, and Hatebreed. Hey if you want to rep Texas, do some Upon A Burning Body, great song would be Texas Blood Money.
I don't think I've seen you react to the tracks 'Township Rebellion', 'Bombtrack' 'People of the Sun' - I can't choose a top 5 for RATM so good luck..... I'll leave that up to you. From Australia. Sub'd.
My only critism of this video is I somehow doubt there was a "positive sista's in the house" that day in 93'. I all saw was hair bouncing like a Fraggle Rock Re-Run .... but damn I love this version!
I havent seen the Grateful Dead. I live in North Carolina and have seen Radiohead at Bonnaroo and in Norway. I saw TOOL in at Atlanta in Jan 2020 (wheewwww close call and thank god). Those have been the very best ive ever seen
#1 I went to go see George Clinton and P-Funk, but Robert Randolph and the Family Band (the opening act) blew them completely, totally, and thoroughly out of the water. George, I love you, but you and your band should refrain from smoking a pound of Kashmir Kush before a show. #2 James Brown. R.I.P. About eight years before we lost him. There is a fantastic story on top of that show, but this show is greatness, partly inspired by His Royal Funkness' inspiration of seeing four white boys laying down a grove so bad that he told them "fellas, you play the white right off ya". #3 is a close tie, but beside the honorable mention of my first Fishbone show, it would have to be They Might Be Giants getting the entire 800 person venue to form one giant freaking conga line while chanting "Everybody conga, I'm not f**king kiddng" to the beat.
Top 3 I should say Tool for all 3 I love their shows so much, but I'll switch it up and say Tool, Primus/Slayer and Alice in Chains. All worthy of seeing multiple times.
people say RATM is a mix of rock/rap/metal... I would say more of rap/punk to be honest. By 92 metal was dead and punk was being reinvented by bands like Nirvana, etc...

Or
"Like A Stone" a tribute to Chris Cornell. With Serj Tankian of SOAD doing the vocals

What an unbelievably tight live band with a song with that many moving parts and sections
🐐🐐
Check out "No Shelter" - their label forced them to make a track for the 90's Godzilla soundtrack and so they went off on the entertainment industry. "Maria" is also a great track that might be Zach's best pure poetry.
Absolutely agree, two of their best tracks, and not given enough play
Rage Against the machine was the best concert I’ve ever been to. The energy is unbelievable 💚💚💚💚
I bet !! 🔥🔥
True. Saw them at RFK in 2000.
I always say your intro every time I watch your videos man! That’s crazy you pointed that out! 😂 It’s catchy! Happy belated birthday too!
Aye man ! Say man !!

Happy belated birthday bro... Great song!!! Yeah bro go over the lyrics and I would love to react to that as well ..
One of the best rage songs. I always picture a fist just made of steel covered in skin clocking someone.

Best concerts: Pantera in '96 when White Zombie opened for them. Lucero at a tiny club in Houston and Dax Riggs at a dive bar in Baton Rouge.
Best concert = May '93, seeing RATM, with Tool opening, closely followed by Feb '93 Alice In Chains touring the Dirt album, and Pantera that same month, all in Scotland on their headline tours. I've lost count of how many bands i've seen but those are probably the top 3.

People try to cover RATM by out-RATM-ing RATM, and that probably won't happen because RATM's sound is so unique. 🤔 gotta check it out that sounds fire 🔥
@@RAHONLYFAM Also Metallica Battery from 89 is INSANE
At a festival in '94, i saw Cypress Hill and RATM play Cypress Hill's "A to the K" together live, it was amazing
Top three for different reasons. Some were intense, some had amazing production value and some were the whole package but -Pantera, NIN, Korn
My only critism of this video is I somehow doubt there was a "positive sista's in the house" that day in 93'. I all saw was hair bouncing like a Fraggle Rock Re-Run .... but damn I love this version!
Definitely Mic Check. But VietNow is right there too.
Top 3 concerts I’ve ever been to: Tool, Radiohead, The Grateful Dead (back when Jerry Garcia was alive).
I havent seen the Grateful Dead. I live in North Carolina and have seen Radiohead at Bonnaroo and in Norway. I saw TOOL in at Atlanta in Jan 2020 (wheewwww close call and thank god). Those have been the very best ive ever seen
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Man all these sound fire 🔥🔥
In answer to your question Sir my top 3 were - Yes, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Nine Inch Nails.
Cool reaction video.
Top 3 I should say Tool for all 3 I love their shows so much, but I'll switch it up and say Tool, Primus/Slayer and Alice in Chains. All worthy of seeing multiple times.
Top 3 concerts I have been to:
1: Pantera
2: Smashing Pumpkins
3: Nine Inch Nails
🔥🔥
Can I get some SEVENDUST: "Licking cream"? I think you'll dig it.
if you ever do a ratm cover you should do mic check
This is great, but I hope you've now also listened to the album version of this?
Rah big up brah do “without a face too” roll right is hit too
people say RATM is a mix of rock/rap/metal... I would say more of rap/punk to be honest. By 92 metal was dead and punk was being reinvented by bands like Nirvana, etc...
TOWNSHIP REBELLION!
✊🏽
Salute bruh ✊🏿✊🏿
