This show is the best in the business... even when Wildes and Brou are out, we have excellent role players like Greg Jennings and Eric Mangini to help keep cooking W's Nick is also making a very good MVP case this year
Steph Curry is greatness was his MVP and here's how! When it counted most, Steph was clutch! Steph forced everyine to be a spectator with Curry's skillset! Steph surpassed the totality of LeBron James in ponits; which speaks to how much he was needed! They do not win the Gold without Steph Curry! Period! I'm sure Tatum and Edwards could have gotten 14pts and 4 turnovers, but LeBron LeBron was determined, but no one will remembet LeBron James MVP; history will not record it, meaning, remember it; it was not epic enough! Every Olympic from this point on will show Steph Curry launching 3's from everywhere, and over multiple defenders, and numerous of times! Steph Curry's play was so magnificent; which is his MVP!!! 60 ponits and 17 3's... in two games, for the win and the GOLD! No one else on the planet could have done it! It's the stuff dreams are made of...!! France will remember Steph Curry forever, because in real time, they witnessed Steph decimate and 20 million! And Steph command the attention of the entire WORLD and stadium as they cheered for him also! I don't even remember seeing LeBron James or KD, but to pass him the ball, and they step back watched! Everyone was watching Steph! the world was busy watching Curry with bated breath and anticipation, will he make the next 3, and everyone knew it would be a 3 point shot. France doubled Steph Curry, not James, and it didn't matter; much like the Boston series Steph was just as magnificent games 4 and 6. He carried the Warriors, and since before his first chip in 15. Remember what Steph Curry said, 'Don't worry about me', What will history remember?? I don't remember in 1978 who won MVP, but I do remember Dr J dunking, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Skyhook. Like everyone will remember Steph shooting skills! Every shooter will be compared to him for a long time; and every basketball player and kid that balls around the world we'll try to duplicate Steph Curry skillset! That is his MVP! That is his legacy! And it's been his legacy since he was chasing the 3 point record in record time!

Game 3 against Puerto Rico, Bam led the team to the win. Playoff game 4 against Brazil, Booker led the team. All the four games were on average >20 points blowout. And Lebron stat padded without even leading in any of those. Game 5 against Serbia & Gold Medal game against France, Steph led team USA to the Wins and Steph has the highest +/- throughout the Olympic.
About Lebron in those first 4 games. If you removed Lebron and just put Haliburton and White to run the offense, we still win those first 4 games. Those were blowouts that we would have won almost no matter what. We don't win either of the medal rounds without Steph going all-time great. Those were close games. We needed wildes brou here for this
USA goes into Paris, kicks they feet up and yells BRING ME A SANDWICH!!!
Steph turned Night Fury on France and started blasting them from all angles.
The Olympic Gold Round is a Bigger Stage than the NBA Finals
Nope
It’s a greater spectacle at this point
Booker and AD needs to be acknowledged as well
I agree with nick. Although I feel steph deserved mvp because he showed up for the most important games. But nobody should be upset or yelling that steph didn't win
"You guys did an incredible job analyzing the game! I'm in SF so I am used to Steph in action. But what really gave me goosebumps in real time was watching the greatest of the generation get him the ball and the bench going haywire even a too early night night (nuit nuit) how the team came together to get Chef the shots. Pretty incredible....One moment that stood out was the second or third three Steph made. Booker drove in, could’ve easily gone for a layup, but instead made an incredible pass out to Steph. When Steph nailed that three, Booker was flexing like he just dunked. (I wonder what Klay was thinking lol)
LeBron was an absolute force throughout the Olympics. You two captured that perfectly. I remember turning to my wife, who was wearing a #30 jersey, while I had on my 'Everybody Loves Draymond' shirt, and I said, 'LeBron is the key to it all and was MVP.' She responded with, 'They don’t give MVPs at the Olympics.' But the way LeBron did whatever it took-his rebounds, his layups, like he was 25 again-was just amazing. And I’m saying this as someone who’s not even a fan, but a rival!
Anyway, you guys were spot on with your analysis. By the way, I've watched the last 2:54 about ten times. It was like watching the Avengers assemble!" on my iphone walking dog excuse typos

These thoughts r mine
KD wasn’t the best on Golden State 😂
Golden state was 23-17 without Steph during the KD era compared to Steph’s 27-4 record.
Other coaches game plan was to stop Steph, and let KD get his. Media been hatin on Steph, he should have 3 finals mvp.
They wanna rewrite history
Big facts
The people who just accept the Iggy finals MVP are the most delusional people in sports history
KD was the best. stop being delusional.
Something these media guys always try to say isn’t true. Steph was the gravity freeing up KD
This is Steph’s icon moment. There is only a handful of guys who are iconic and now he joins them(Jordan, bron, iverson, Kobe)
The last 2 mins that was set up by Durant and Curry. Steve Kerr is very smart, he knows Durant and Curry used to play at the Golden State, thats why only Durant knows how to set up for Curry to hits those 3pts. Steve Kerr is very smart, he wait until the last 2 mins then he let Durant and Curry dancing for the gold.
Co-MVP's would have been fitting
Curry 24 points 8 three pointers,on wining gold on 8/10/24 Kobe looking down ❤

Love seeing Greg Jennings on here. Inspirational
Somebody gotta say it! no wildes and no Chris I expected less. Greg and nick did a really good job playing off each other today!!!
USA would not even have been in the Gold Medal game without Steph's performance vs Serbia.
Exactly. The Olympic MVP should have been split between Curry & Lebron. Without Curry in the last 2 games they are playing for the Bronze.
Where would they be if they depended on Curry before those games?
They wouldn’t even have made the medal round without LeBron
@@Martillo81015 please explain yourself. The first two games were blowouts. Explain how team usa doesnt win without his production??
Honestly it depends on coach . Team USA could beat team’s multiple ways but Kerr game is built around curry . We won gold in 2020 with popovich and Durant/Tatum without curry and lebron .
This duo doesn’t hit the same energy
I actually think curry could very easily be on the 2028 squad. He'd be less mobile, but he'd still be the ultimate spot up catch and shooter. His game doesn't require as much athleticism
LaBron is 39, Curry would be 40. I don't know. So much of his game revolves around being all over the place. I would still cheer him on dearly.
Curry said himself “1 and done” so I think this is it for him in terms of olympics.
He outruns everyone and almost killed someone trying to guard him in one finals lol athleticism isn't just about jumping and driving
show didn't miss a beat today with greg and coach filling in. hate to say it but nick's da real mvp
Steph is that dude!💯✨
One thing no one has mentioned is the fact that bron guarded joker in the 4th and held him to 6 pts, which was one of the reasons usa was able to come back and beat Serbia
As a french person, I must say that last quarter from Curry had me inspired to be a worse person
😂😂😂😂
Did you kick the cat?
This show is the best in the business... even when Wildes and Brou are out, we have excellent role players like Greg Jennings and Eric Mangini to help keep cooking W's
Nick is also making a very good MVP case this year
Steph Curry is greatness was his MVP and here's how!
AD didnt really get any credit for how consistent he was for them all the way through. defensive beast.
What he have like 6 blocks the Las game ?
Too many shows on break right now.

Steph’s legacy in the NBA cannot be improved by winning against teams like Serbia and France. He won against LeBron and the Celtics - that’s a legacy !
full throated defense of lebron is crazy 😂
Nope, Carter dunking over ole dude is always gonna be the best Olympic moment. Dunking over a 7 ft ish individual in game is crazy.
Agreed. That was the best in-game dunk in bball history. He didn't barely dunk it either. He flushed it, and Weiss's career down the toilet
Nah... That was cool but nothing was on the line. Just a nice moment. Steph was going crazy 😂. Easily the best moment in Olympic history

Thank you for giving Steve Kerr credit because as a coach he was denigrated all throughout

I love when media don't just disagree to disagree in these show.
Curry was great the last 2 games.. the reason why he wasn't named MVP is because he wasn't so good the first 4 games. And that's where Bron was just consistently good throughout the whole tournament.
Bron's performance in the first 4 games didn't really standout to be fair. But I agree that Steph didn't play particularly well in the first 4 games. But he CURRIED the team when it absolutely mattered the most lol. Team USA woulda gone home with the Bronze medal without Steph's performance against Serbia IMO.

Out of the 6 matches Lebron hasn’t led in non of them. This not hate. I will give you the facts. Game 1 against Serbia - KD led the team. Game 2 against South Sudan Anthony Edwards led team USA.
Lebron was tournament MVP but Curry was gold medal game MVP!
Why he looking like Tom green 😂😂
About Lebron in those first 4 games. If you removed Lebron and just put Haliburton and White to run the offense, we still win those first 4 games. Those were blowouts that we would have won almost no matter what.
We don't win either of the medal rounds without Steph going all-time great. Those were close games. We for sure lose to Serbia and France was tough in their home building.
That makes Curry arguably more valuable. Now, you can say Lebron and I'm fine with that. To each their own, but to say it should not have been Steph is beyond stupid.
Lebron stayed in those blowout games stat padding
@@fullmetal1766 I remember when Curry produced the most consistent production in that first finals and the FMVP voters changed the criteria to give it to Iggy. Steph didn't get a single vote.
@@jonrussell739 He slowed down the heroic Lebron James! It is all about narrative. Curry was the MVP, obviously, that series. Iggy did a great job, but it was Steph's team, and if you removed one or the other, see you later Iggy.
