It doesn't matter what you put on the 350Z. The VQ has such a beautiful sound anyway that anything will sound good paired with that engine.

C Man The single look compliments the car really well IMO, at first I didn’t like when I got a single on my z but then it grew on me and I love it.

C Man honestly companies don’t “engineer” shit when t comes to exhausts. They find a goal to make a stylish exhaust that’s different. It’s not hard.
I made a tiome 3 to 5” single for $40... You just bend a pipe to run with your exhaust tunnels on the chassis, make some hangers and find out what sound you want and make either a big or small can. It’s not hard it took me a week to “design” what I wanted lol
And I’m a no body with a welder and a Z..

The z1 Motorsports m-spec single exhaust gives the classic 350z sound I love it
I got the Invidia N1, 550$. It’s loud but not obnoxiously loud, deeper than agency power.

i bought one off ebay called circuit werks and it looks great sounds awesome and with short headers and cat back gave me 252 rwhp and 248 torque then got her tunned to 280 but the guy brought it Down to 270 said it ran best like this ,it a 3005 de not the rev up

These are way over 500. Don’t cheap out on some spec D exhaust or something like that they all sound like Ass. Your best bet is to go to harbor freight buy a cheap welder cut the muffler off and weld on a pipe with a resonated tip. Will have the stock tone and will be loud enough. DO NOT REMOVE THE RESONATORS
