- Some clips of my 08 350z and my exhaust set ups. when I was on the market for a tomei I never really found good videos with this exhaust so I thought maybe this will help people in the market for an exhaust on their Z

I'm buying a 350z soon and the first thing i was going to do is new exhaust, i was always against going to a single exit as i think the duel exit is one of the best features of the 350z, BUT...making it sound like this maaaay sway me towards this exhaust especially or the price.

I live in an apartment so after work even with my stock exhaust I drive real slow
and does the silencer help lower the sound a lot for cold starts in the morning ?
Smudgy Skillz the tomei by itself is not so loud, you can definitely keep it quiet when you need to. Once you get test pipes on the other hand, can get quite loud, but you can still manage to keep it quiet especially if you choose resonated test pipes such as motordyne art pipes. And yes the silencer will definitely help! 👍

How loud would you say this exhaust is still loud with high flow cats?
the exhaust is loud but controllable, as in it can be quiet when you need it to be, but if you go with unresonated test pipes (straight pipes eliminating the cat) it will be pretty loud
Does Tomei add hp to ur car or you need a y pipe and test pipe to go along with it my Z a 06
Cure Lex it adds power but test pipes is gonna give you the most power out of all 3

Ronnie Jr I mean you can slide it here and there, but to drift you either need to weld it or get an lsd, I’m actually gonna upgrade to an lsd soon as well!

Did it get a lot louder with the art pipes compared to stock cats? I have a tomei catback atm on my 2008 350z and would like to add some power but I find it already loud enough as it is atm 😅
It got louder, but not extremely louder, just gave it a better tone, more power, and more pops 🔥 you won’t regret it !

startup sounds pretty good, but when its revving not as much. noise is too raspy and high pitched in my opinion. i like the deeper noise you hear in the startup

I personally got it from a local shop bro, but if not I would probably go with Z1 I heard they're a good website to get aftermarket parts for vq!
Just know, with Z1 you gotta pay extra for shipping and tax

Good sound but slow car
I wouldn't really count it as slow, 2007's are 0-60 in 5.4 seconds for bone stock. You could easily drop that down in the high 4's with a $1,200 Tomei single turbo. It's not slow but yet again not fast. It's a good mix for a daily commuter
