The 350z has aged very well. I love my 350. I'll park it for a few weeks, and when I decide to go for a drive, that car makes me smile. Love that car!!

dB levels are good to know and hard to find. Important for certain Motorsports events and gives a better gauge on how loud the exhausts are since videos don’t really do justice.
The Injen exhaust has a low bass note. Much deeper tone. Problem is that deep tone causes terrible drone and vibration between 2-3k rpms. That’s right at highway cruise speeds sucks on long trips. Tomei sounds fantastic but it’s ear bleeding loud! I owned both exhausts on catless cars
HKS hi-power produces the classic JDM racing sounds while not being very loud (and the Silent version is even quieter), and not like fart cannon like most newer brands produces.
i have an invida gemini full cat back exhaust on my 350z with Kinetix Racing test pipes and i think it has the perfect sound between quiet and loud. not as loud as a tomei but not to quiet with the nvida exhaust alone
I had a hard time with Exhaust decision at first, ended up going with Top Speed Pro1. Cat back. It's a G35xS & also has AFE air filters & Z1 tubes. It's exactly what I wanted out of my exhaust. Nice low idle, & great sound at top end, but not the typical trumpet sound you get with straight pipes in the middle range. I've had a lot of compliments on it. I can't wait to get the car running again. (Oil Filter Coolant line had a pinhole in it & drained the coolant completely.)
I don't know much about exhausts, but I saw a video with a Megan Racing catback exhaust on a 2007 350z HR. I love the sound. So far, that's what I want for my 2006 350z Roadster.
i have a full tomei header back exhaust (expect motordyne art pipes) with the tomei dual exit and it sounds alright. Not worth it though lol My tomei single sounded pretty mental with the same setup tho. i’d say that one was worth it more than the dual exit (cost wise).

I have a tomei and it’s Definitely the best. The sound is crazy good u got to hear it in person It turns heads it’s light weight and its Durable with that Titanium. I Literally ran over a dead deer not a Scratch on my Exhaust when that happen.

Compared to motordyne 2nd best exhaust on the 370z it’s a lot cheaper. And 5. it has a Unique sound that you won’t hear on video’s only in person and that’s because it’s Titanium.
I never really liked how the Tomei Expreme sound... especially on Subarus, they sound like cheap exhaust to me. I wouldn't care if it is used for racing because the weight reduction over stock is significant, but for street definitely not.

Get the ISR dual exit if you want it to remain kinda quiet. It’s around 550.00. The long tube headers are kinda not working in your favor if you want quiet unfortunately. The way I like to do VQ exhausts is to resonate every section. Resonated test pipe, resonated mid pipe and muffler(s) on the back. Unfortunately since you have long tubes you can’t resonate your test pipe because your header eliminates that. But you will still get a good tone with the ISR dual exit
Does anyone know how to get the Agency Power exhaust? The link he linked doesn’t work and CZP says they’re discontinued/out of stock. Idk why this dude would recommend a discontinued exhaust.
Unless you’re running headers, test pipes, or a full 3” y-pipe, all to a straight-through exhaust or mufflers, you won’t lose THAT much low end power. It’s very negligible imo, even under heavy traffic creeping.

Best car I ever owned. Fun to drive, very good looks, easy to mod. Lost mines in 2018, plan on getting one again soon

Not really known but, Soho’s Motorsports single exit exhaust sounds like a Deeper toned Tomei and they won best sound back when they competed.

I have a z1 motors single exit straight piped exhaust for 700 bucks and its a little trumpety at high rpm but still has a deep rumble

Tomei does NOT eliminate rasp. Loud, extremely raspy and obnoxious. Light, yes. Invidia is a top 5? Negative.
