My husband was stationed at that Patrol post for many years. He was promoted and works out of a couple different counties now, but I have fond memories of that post.
Awesome finds Wallie! Like your Steelers shirt too btw, as you know I'm also a huge Steelers fan too! Wished they could've won yesterday, got close though with that good comeback towards the end of the game! Anyways bet that was an old Golden Arch Mcdonalds at one time possibly! Also that old Kmart was a great find reminds me of the one that used to be in Macedonia OH back in the 90s that our parents would take me and my brother Ryan to as kids. Got alot of Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, and Sega Genesis games there. Could've been a Big Lots after Kmart closed maybe by the color of the upper facade being painted darker maybe?
Great video. I really like the scene transitions that you (or your editor) did in this video, nice touch. Perhaps they make a cup that you can attach to your camera lens on your phone when you press up against windows? Keep up the great work on this channel.
My family and I used to eat there from time to time, and we grocery shopped at Finast as well. I had friends from high school who worked at that McDonald's. So many memories!
3:57 clear as day door was open you can see the door wedged open and a board over the door right after saying obviously don’t believe we will get in here 🤦🏻♂️😂
There’s a abandoned Mc 😮Donald’s in Newport Arkansas just moved to a shoe box location down the road and next door is a abandoned kfc long John silvers combo
1st. First. Primero. D'abord. Not everybody can be first. Just the best. This right here... legendary status. GOAT. Im tearing up. Ill stop now. Till the next video. Its just who I am.
Back in the day when that store was opened, I think the food there probably was actually food, unlike that stuff they're serving today. I love retro things like that, esp relative to these times we're in now.
This is Saybrook. The Covered Bridge Pizza in Kingsville in the remodeled bridge! It's hard to think that McDonald's closed in 2004. That was a nice Finast that became Tops in Ashtabula and then Busy Beaver which is closed. That is across from the Arby's you filmed!!! 😔
It's very interesting that this permanently closed McDonald's still has an "Available" space sign with a phone number on it. I honestly don't see anything else going in there.
The one i worked at after high school (2001) closed about 2008 i think. West High Ave in New Philadelphia Ohio. building is still standing. Traffic is always so crazy on that road. they have another location near Union Hospital, so they decided to close the West High one. 😛
#wallieb26 I'd really enjoy getting you my show, Spot in Decay, the true story of urbex. It's a direct spinoff of Viceland's Abandoned. I sent you a FB pm
I love how there are cups on a table, almost like they just aat their cups down and left.
Your RUclips Channel is great and so are you, Wallie! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Another great video! WOW! 20 years is a long time! Guess nobody wanted to refurbish it at all! No Big Mac for you today!
Great video as usual.
I love seeing these abandoned time capsules.

Im from Ashtabula I remember used to go in that McDonald's years ago very cool video
Amazing video wallie. Thank you for sharing I enjoyed it

Check out the McDonald’s in Evansville, IN! That one is a time capsule.
Yes sometime please do.
I s33n3d 1t
You gotta be specific there’s to many mc Donald’s in your town
Great video Wallie, it’s looking rundown, surprising that everything is left behind
Great video. I really like the scene transitions that you (or your editor) did in this video, nice touch. Perhaps they make a cup that you can attach to your camera lens on your phone when you press up against windows? Keep up the great work on this channel.
Dang that's old skool!! Nice find!
Great Video Wallie Thanks
Awesome Wall
Very cool! Glad you decided to film it!
I can’t believe McDonald’s used to look like that on the inside I’ve seen the inside old ones that haven’t been updated yet but none looked like that
My family and I used to eat there from time to time, and we grocery shopped at Finast as well. I had friends from high school who worked at that McDonald's. So many memories!
Wow, that's an old one! Of course, when you start looking in the window with the camera, a train seems to be coming by, by the sounds of it.
I like these early uploads
this was a cool mcdonalds find wallie thanks for sharing this for us. :D
For being abandoned 20 years, it doesn't look that bad!
Yeah. I was pretty surprised how decent it still looked inside.
I don't even remember a McDonald's being out there. My aunt used to work at that KMart across the way when I was little. Interesting video!
3:57 clear as day door was open you can see the door wedged open and a board over the door right after saying obviously don’t believe we will get in here 🤦🏻♂️😂
Cool video as usual! ❤️👍🤘
Very busy rail line there. Fascinating that it’s been abandoned for 20 years. Just frozen in time
That McDonald’s was very cool and vintage, thank you for all you do !
Them seats look more comfortable and better than the seats they get now.
That’s insane, 20 years and nothing…
20 years wow... and how expensive.
There’s a abandoned Mc 😮Donald’s in Newport Arkansas just moved to a shoe box location down the road and next door is a abandoned kfc long John silvers combo
if you had a night vision camera you would of seen the inside a lot better but anyway it is a very classic mcdonalds
Also in Columbus is a repainted classic roof McDonald’s
Oh And Have A Big Maclicious DAY
Wow MCDONALD'S 👌 video
Oh this is the McDonald's across the way from the 80s Kmart! That's crazy what happened to it in the 90s!
Awesome Abandoned McDonald's good restaurant but it's closed premiered now can't get nothing out to eat but dang it.
Nice ❤🎉❤🎉❤ i like your videos keep up the great work make more new videos ❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤
This is a step back in time that we all wish we could take.

Nice Wallie!
That is awesome. I drive by that McDonalds all the time. Yes, covered bridge pizza is closed as of I think a couple years ago.
I saw a RUclips video of that before you filmed it
Back in the day when that store was opened, I think the food there probably was actually food, unlike that stuff they're serving today. I love retro things like that, esp relative to these times we're in now.
My husband and I would like to see you do a vlog in the Carolinas or Georgia about the devastation left behind by hurricane Helene.
oh wow that mcdonalds didnt even last a decade
They need to tear it down and put the putt putt golf coarse back up that was there before the McDonalds was built.
What a shame abandoned McDonald's
Yes. That cover bridge pizza IS still open. It is the ONLY one left in the county.
It Might Tear it Old McDonald's Down!!!?
Now I want a Quarter Pounder. Maaannn
Have you been to Jefferson on RT 60, just outside of St Albans, WV? There's quite a few abandoned motels on 60, mostly vintage in architecture too
It's very interesting that this permanently closed McDonald's still has an "Available" space sign with a phone number on it. I honestly don't see anything else going in there.
TEAM WALLIE 😮
Surprise it did not have a pay telephone, Mcdonalds from that era had them on the side of the building.
I love your Steelers shirt. It sucks they lost yesterday to the Colts.
Shame security couldn't let you in for look
Drive by it every day, to and from work. Covered Bridge Pizza is closed too.
Awesome video

If that bell went off there could of been a ghost in there maybe
Still looks decent for being gone 20 years.
Yay a McDonald’s
Next time you find that guy see if he has a key to let you in and do a part 2 of the video
Covered Bridge Pizza is indeed closed. A victim of the pandemic.
20 years, long time to just be sitting there.
Not many abandoned McDonalds
Abandoned blue roof BK w/ play place sitting on a hill in Chesterland OH. Just south of Mentor
Well in Ohio, stop by and let that Nate guy see the B friend.
Wow, it could almost be classified as a historical artifact 😂
You have quite a collection of stickers on the 🐝..
I wonder what they say 🤔👍🏼
Many of them are from places I've traveled to!
@@WallieB26 amazing, 😄 I'd like to do that, I'd start in Reading pa visit some folks then head down to New Orleans. 🏃🚅
