Neewer is like Smallrig's clone but in a better way (not build quaility). They fix alot of issue on Smallrig's product, added their own feature and sell their product at cheaper price.
Smallrig could just make the top part of their rig to be a nato rail, but i think they chose not to do it on purpose, even their V-mount plate kit, at the bottom is just a square part with screw hole, the Neewer's "clone" fixed that by made it an arca swiss plate.

I've gone fully into the F38 and F22 system. It's amazing. It's honestly game changing. The speed at which I can build or tear down an entire rig is ridiculous. It makes running and gunning a breeze.

Please do a review of the Sirui cage for this camera! I need a cage but i have a manfrotto tripod so the arca swiss plate is useless unless I buy an adapter. The Sirui comes with an adapter but I can't tell if it works with my tripod. it looks too small

I went with the Neweer and the small rig top handle. My big reason was the DJI MIc 2 Sony adapter will not work with the small rig cage at all. Unfortunately none of the cages allow you to use the adapter with the top handle easily (but with the neweer I can rig it so the small rig nato rail extension will allow me to get them to both work together

Can you make a comparation video between the Sony ZV e 10 and the a6700 in 4k 24 HLG3 graded and 8bit and after that in 10.bit to see the difference?

The F22 system looks fantastic. I've been using the F38 adapters for a while. But sadly as you said being one of the those already invested in a myriad of rig accessories the F22 is not a practical upgrade . Great video. Very helpful!

The advantage of the little swinging gate in the smallring cage is that if you’re not using a separate, ‘outboard’ handle, it gives you a full ‘pinky grip’ around the bottom.

A very superficial review. Sorry. After watching this review, I concluded that the lack of a screwdriver magnet is indeed a major downside. One contact point ultimately pushed me away from Falcam. However!... In reality, a screwdriver is not constantly needed, as the non-removable Arca Swiss-compatible plate makes the screwdriver irrelevant because there’s nothing to unscrew. It will only be necessary if you decide to remove the cage itself. Secondly, the review didn’t mention the biggest drawback of the Neewer cage (which I bought after your review)... The Neewer cage blocks the installation of a flash or a sync unit in the hot shoe. That’s a real problem! As a result, I had to order a Falcam cage in addition to the Neewer cage I had already purchased. Please be more professional when creating such content. Check the equipment you review more thoroughly. The cages are not expensive, so the financial loss is minor but unpleasant. Such mistakes definitely don't attract new subscribers. And yes, to avoid any biased opinions, I actually liked the Neewer cage a lot. If I didn’t need to install a flash, I wouldn’t have discovered this problem and would have been 100% satisfied with the cage. But...

Hey, I appreciate the feedback. Personally I have never used nor had the desire to use on camera clashes or sync units, especially when cages usually are designed for video rather than photo, and flashes are not typical to use in video work. it simply didnt cross my mind as it never impacted me directly. Reviews are challenging to cover every detail especially details that do not impact the reviewer directly (very new to this style of video work, still a small channel.) But I do appreciate the response pointing these things out.

@@thomasjmcclure Thank you for your response. My "claim" is valid at least because we are talking about a cage for camera designed for hybrid use.

@@cyvidal10 there is so much more variety with nato, tons of different handles, monitor mounts etc. that’s the main downside to falcam because they only have a couple options

@@thomasjmcclure You don't have to choose btw. Falcam makes Nato rails that QR onto F22. They also have Arri pin adapters. Best of both worlds.
