    I have a Chanel lambskin square pearl bag and a Chanel handbag but my lambskin square petal bag I have worn 2 times and I am very careful but somehow still has small scratches on the leather and the gold on the clasp. I don’t know what happened but I paid over $3,000 for it a few years ago and I am upset that it already has scratches. No one notices now but I notice the price I paid for it. I’m saving up to buy another kislux bag now that I won’t be paying full price anymore.

    I need help, I currently use A6300 with 20mm & 56mm prime lenses and planning on upgrading but I have a very limited budget and here's my options. 1. Buy the A6700 brand new for $1260 then sell my current gears and buy the sigma 18-50 f2.8 for $485 2. Buy the A7iii or A7C brand new for $1226 then sell my current gear and buy the sigma 28-70 f2.8 for $622 I do photo coverage for small events like kiddie party and such but right now I am having trouble focusing with my A6300 specially in low light situation. I want to go for the A7iii because its full frame and looks more comfortable to shoot photos with but I am considering the A6700 because its newer and has faster auto focus and because its back illuminated sensor many reviews says that its good in low light.

But I don't want to spend that much money right now and the kislux always gets me the bag I want and it's just as good as the LV and one of my favorites. Durability

    Hi, Thomas, thanks for the information. I can see there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes when you make your videos. Imo, you would have been justified in publicly outing the company that violated the contract. What would happen if you had included the company name in this video? Could they sue you? Or did you not mention their name to avoid burning a bridge? Or just based on principle, eg. to be kind and move on? I'm asking out of curiosity because I'd probably want say who the company was, but maybe that's a bad idea.

    • @thomasjmcclure

      The only reason I don’t put them is if there are other creators who have them as a sponsor recently,I would hate for them to be put in a weird position. That plus I’m happy enough to just move on without stirring up extra drama

    doing youtube as a hobby for around 11 years I think "Not doing the review because you don't like the product" is the most cowardly way to go. I broke off contact with fellow youtubers when I learned they were doing this, it's cowardly, not fair towards the viewers, it's kinda immoral and imo simply not ok. You kinda owe it to your trusting audience to also tell them when somehting isn't good instead you're going the easy route avoiding potential trouble with the brand and backlash from viewers who thing different than you. The viewers kinda should have the right to know if you don't like something just as much as something you like. Sorry but withing the first minute of this video you lost all credibility to me since I'll now never know what you're NOT telling the viewers, this is just as bad as giving a positive review to a weak product. Nothing against sponsors if it's obvious but at this point it doesn't matter, the trust between the reviewers and viewers is broken once and for all. Peace out and keep doing it as long as you don't have any guilty feelings..... About the part that a brand just sends you something and doesn't ask for anything bla bla, sure they don't, they would risk way too much by doing so but it's not even necessary and we both know why. If it's not favorable they are obvioulsy not gonna say anything, on the surface, but let's see how often you can do this before they are not gonna send you anything anymore.... yeah right

    • @thomasjmcclure
      @thomasjmcclure 3 дня назад

      I appreciate the comment, but the way that I make videos is typically more of a showcase of what products can do, outlining their shortcomings or flaws etc. what I was saying is not if I receive a bad product (I’ve made a video about a lens that I told people not to buy) I’m talking about products that don’t excite me, that I personally don’t care to use or feel like it’s worth recommending to my viewers. This channel is largely about encouraging new/beginner photographers to get excited about going out and shooting, so I aim to keep my focus in a more positive light than just bashing some peoples products, there’s plenty of other channels out there doing that. You may call that cowardly, it’s just how I prefer to make my content. I’m not avoiding the drama or fallout with a brand, as that really doesn’t hold much sway on me personally. Seeing as I never mentioned the details of which videos I chose not to make, it’s pretty strong to label me as immoral and cowardly in my view, but to each their own. Hope you have a great day man

DONT LET A COMPANY BRIBE YOU FOR A GOOD REVIEW! ive had companies try to offer me extra products in exchange for a good review. stay honest with the reviews. really good episode fam. great topic to talk about!

    Thanks for the comparison. I looked at most of the cages available for the a6700. I have the cage made by Sirui. Probably the best. Three points of contact; bottom 1/4/-20 and the two strap eyelets. 3/8 ARRI connections on top and sides. If it only had a 45 degree canted cold shoe like the SmallRig cage, it would be perfect. The canted cold shoe allows a shotgun mic to be out of the way of a top handle.

    416 still sounds better and a bit more brighter. But for the price and convinience, the Comica seems like fantastic value. I think the other comparison worth doing would be the VM40 vs some of those wireless mini mics (like the DJI Mic 2, Mini, Lark etc.)

    Smallrig just released a new Cage for a6700, a HawkLock, would you compare it with the F38? No one I'm YT has compared both ecosystems

      If I can get my hands on them then yeah sure! Probably not something I can sink my own money into at the moment for a video though

    I just got a new lens for wide shots on the sony ZVE10. I love the look but I'm now interested in a Pocket camera like that one when I don't feel like taking a backpack with me.

      We have a little getaway coming up soon, and I really don’t wanna lug around camera gear, I find that’s where this thing is perfect! Plus I wanna see if it’s possible to get a “cinematic” sequence using it lol

    Do think the osmo pocket 3 could be used to get cinematic shots that are "hard" to achieve? Say inside a car, or a bike POV shot or getting the camera in small places. Would I be able to match one image taken from the pocket 3 with one taken from the zve10?

      You can get great shots with it for sure! But it’s definitely limited, but yeah I think Cam Mackie has done some cool stuff with it rigged to a car recently

    is zve10 ii or even the 1st one better than sony a6400? for shortfilms, rigging and stuff? Great vid btw!

      @thomasjmcclure 14 дней назад

      The image of the a6400 and the zve10 are very similar as far as I’m aware, except the a6400 has ibis and a view finder, the zve10 has the newer color science and better autofocus (i think that’s the main difference) The zve10ii is a whole different sensor and has a lot more features and benifits. Mainly 10bit video, 4k60, new menus, better colors, larger battery etc. But they may not be the kind of upgrades you’d need based on the price difference. Depends on what you need

      @@thomasjmcclureSony a6400 does not have IBIS. I would pick up the ZV-E10II if mechanical shutter is not needed. a6400 is thought very option and has better build quality compared to ZV line up cameras.

      @@thomasjmcclure the a6400 doesn’t have ibis, it’s only on a6600 and a6700 The other big difference between the a6400 and the zv series is the user experience (a6400 has a more « professional » layout)

    Good video, the little piece on the bottom of the pocket 3 isn’t the battery extender, that’s the piece to add on that adds another usb-c port and a 1/4 thread, the battery extender is a bit larger and you should have that with the combo kit

    • @looney2be
      @looney2be 10 дней назад

      For combo i think they have battery extender and the 1/4 thread thing.
