@@MF-rw3rb for the most parts, right. Crank windows are a clear exception though! XD
@@LRM12o8 I dunno. I don't really find power windows to be any more convenient than winders. They would be if you like to have all of your windows down, I suppose, but if you're driving an estate (or station wagon as yankees would call them) having all your windows down creates a horrible pressure thing due to the cavern in the back in every car I have driven, so I don't like it.

Electrician here. Really good part on the electrics side, however you could have also mentioned that if you really *need* to replace a fuse and don't have the fitting one, you could also always use a smaller size one and hope that it doesn't blow. The fuses are there to protect the components and the cable tree, and nothing else. So, if it pops at a smaller current, it really doesn't damage your car. Also it would've been cool of you to show replacement of the moisture barrier using parts that you can get at a regular hardware store. Other than that, I love your videos. Keep it up.
I love how Chris *always* shows us the whole process and doesn't skip over a bunch of things like alot of other youtubers

I have been waiting a month and a half
Tip: When you gonna cut a bolt to size, take one or two nuts and put them all the way up on your bolt before sawing the remainder off. Then when you're done cutting, you remove these temporary nuts again and that will straighten out any part of the thread that got damaged while sawing, so your final nut will go on smooth.
Thanks for the tip!

Protip for anyone with a B6 A4 with window issues. At 04:22 Chris shows the plastic covered wires going to the door. On the B6 the wires like to crack at that specific place. That is most likely the reason your windows dont work. I have soldered countless door looms at that exact place, works like a charm every time. If you have checked those wires and they look fine, its most likely the window switch who is the culprit. Hope this helps!

Before cutting a bolt, screw a nut all the way in. Once you're done cutting, remove the nut, so it will remodel the f-ed up threads.
Then you're sure to be able to screw this bolt without problem.

Hey Chris I absolutely love your vids but could you PLEASE make a video of what happens if you floor cars and what it does to the engine PLEASE!!!!! 🤩
Yeah that would be good 😊
Another great video. I had the same problem with my old Chevy Beauville van. It looked identical to your motor. I had no drill or replacement motor, so I chiselled the rivets off and took apart the motor. The brushes were good but there was dirt and corrosion, so I cleaned everything and scraped out the grooves of the armature with a broken utility knife blade. After finding nuts and bolts and putting it all back together, and trying it, I was surprised by fast it moved. Better than the passenger side. I'm fairly certain that you could've fixed your motor too🙂
Perfect timing Chris! My 1999 civic si’s driver side regulator Motor just went out. Your tutorial will help a lot. Thanks 🙏 ❤️
