This is probably the clearest repair instruction I have ever viewed. Your production -- clarity, narration, lighting, volume and editing -- are the best. You totally knocked it over the fence. Thank you so much!
Confirm it goes up and down before putting the panel back on. Great video, sir
Best video on this job out there, thanks!

Great demo on the repair, best one out there!
Best video I've seen on this subject. Great work
This video was excellent. He did a very nice step by step procedure while showing good video/pics. I also liked how he showed the broken pieces laid out AND the new assembly. This helped me because I had ordered a separate OEM regulator and a separate OEM motor and the position of the motor bracket was important (on top or below the frame). I also liked how the clips fell off the switch housing and he shows you to reposition them before assembly. (My clips were loose also so I crimped them with a pliers and then installed for a rock solid assembly). Note: My door panel had this tiny squeak when opening the door or just putting pressure on the panel so I put a small piece of anti squeak tape on the area and now its like new - no noise! Great video!
Thank you very much🙂 so glad to be able to help..and great job on ur repair👍

Hello. My motor sounds like is still working and the class is up, do we still change the whole set up new? Thanks
I noticed that when ordering the OEM version, it speaks of having a GM professional needing to program the new regulator. Any idea what that's about?
Nice
You should always put some white lithium grease on the sliders before installing
Great video! Where do you buy the motors for the lowest cost. I have a 2004 cadillac ext and the passenger window stopped working. How long did this take you to install? I want to make sure i dont get ripped off by the mechanic. Thanks!
Thank you🙂 Well i usually order from Amazon or rock auto for lowest prices..i compare em both..normally takes about 2 hours
I’ve replaced the motor/actuator and circuit breaker for right side doors. Front passenger window still stuck all the way down. Rear passenger window motor clicks when I hit the switch, but won’t go down. Any ideas?
Hey man mines was doing this same thing try getting another power switch 👍🏽
👏👏👏👍
I followed along with this and ended up breaking parts of my window and lock panel. My Avalanche actually had it screwed in, so I busted it trying to pry it off. Which is different to what he shows. So definitely be careful if you try to pry that part. It might not be attached the same way even though it looks the same.
Also, for the most part, you shouldn't actually have to take the switches panel off at all. You should be able to get to everything with that still attached. -- Just a tip that might help
Where do I buy window holders?
U can find em at auto parts stores like oreillys..autozone if not they can get it for u..the one i got is lisle 63900
@@backyardchevy328 thanks
Excellent video - thank you for providing this for us do-it-yourselfers. Now let's see if I can do as good a job as you did. I also had this problem described below - ended up breaking parts of my window and lock panel. My Avalanche actually had it screwed in, so I busted it trying to pry it off. I will let you know how I repair it. I found this video with one approach: ruclips.net/video/yNa5jDKyBV4/видео.html
