This video works. For 2002 Escalade. Dorman part #741-644 driver window. Regulator and motor assembly prices $35-$55 on comp parts. Takes less then an hour to install if your tools are out. Remember to attach the 2 sets of window switch wire sets to check your installation and to adjust the window hold brackets into place.
There are only (2) 8mm screws holding the panel on, then left it up to remove the wire connections. 4- 10mm bolts hold the new assembly in place.
Thanks for the video. .Bill E

Great video & saved us some money on replacement of a window regulator and motor for our 05 Yukon XL. The part cost $99.95 at Autozone for the driver side door and the only real tricky part was getting the window glass into the clip correctly and getting it secured. Thanks for the video, it was very helpful.

Great step by step video. 👍 But you can save a step by not removing the switch box and just hooking back up the plugs from the inside of the door panel. I had enough room to where I only disconnected the plug from the motor, but did not have to disconnect the plugs from the switch. I guess it depends on how long your wires are.

FOR '03 TAHOE! First, this was a HUGELY helpful video. Especially the tip about putting the tape on the OUTSIDE of the window to avoid messing up the tint--I wouldn't have thought of that. Thanks! Here are some intricacies for the '03 Tahoe. First, there are no tab screws (using the T-20 socket). There are only the two screws (door handle and manual lock)--after those are removed, it lifts out. I would also recommend that you do this in warm weather or a heated garage. There were several times where I'm guessing I would have broken the plastic had it been cold. I also strongly recommend you use your smart phone to take pics each step of the way. I found it helpful to remove the wire harnesses from the 'holders'; that gave extra length to work with. For me, putting the panel back on was the hardest part of the whole fix. Hope this helps. Thanks SO MUCH for posting the original video!

Now I found your clip after half way doing my Yukon Denali XL 2003. Very similar to min only the driver door outer aspect 20Hexa does not exist in Denali. Also the inner clip at same level doesn't exit. I had followed the 2007 and above or 2002 or below instructions so as expected, broke the door look/window/mirror switch module's screw that I believe is a common novice doing, if you only try to prey form outside, not knowing that there is a screw in inner aspect that has to be opened only after removal of panel. Not sure why GM was this stupid to do it that way... Anyhow great job and you are really fast in doing entire job in such a short period. Great thanks for sharing.

Thanks. I used the first few minutes just to learn how to remove the door panel in order to replace the armrest. Removing the panel was easy, but reattaching the wiring harnesses to the underside of the (electric window) switch bezel took a several minutes due to the limited amount of room I had between the door frame and the partially removed panel. The wiring harnesses are short in length. Another couple inches would have made a big difference.
