Excellent workout! My cardiologist last year gave me a goal of 40 minutes of exercise. Some days I can only do half and other days like today, I can accomplish the full routine -- with modifications! Thanks for your commitment to health!

Thank you April and Aiko. This was a great workout. I missed my buddy Misho. I wish I hadn't donated my ankle weights years ago. Aiko you are a beast. Everytime April asks if you need water you say "No I'm good." and you were using ankle weights. 40 minutes is the perfect amount of time not too short and not too long. I prefer being in a chair. I can be barefoot which is more comfortable on my Arthritis even wearing custom made arch supports standing.

On days when we aren't up to doing anything too challenging, there are plenty of options to choose from to keep us moving. Thanks for your videos. I am 65 & had a hip injury more than 5 years ago & hadn't found any exercises that helped. Stopped my physiotherapy as they were not helping & causing more pain. Started your chair yoga 2 weeks ago, gradually adding the warm up & cool down plus most of the 5 mins workout. Now I can manage this 40 min workout; all sitting down. Feel really good to do at my pace especially for my left leg. My challenge is to try the other standing workout. Having your mum with you motivated me.I feel stronger & look forward daily to do these workout. So glad that I can alternate the videos daily. Thank you both.

I had a knee replacement in March, 2022 and determined to even at my age of 68..to get moving…since I’ve been very restricted. I just found your channel, videos and wanted to say how much I enjoy them. I really like the whole body workout ones..you make the time pass quickly with your banter! ❤it! Robin & I have been doing this workout for awhile. We love it! For the 1st time I put on my ankle weights for the 1st two segments. Not sure I should have but I'm amazed that these moves really worked my back leg muscles. Wow!! Not bad for a 69 year old! 😄

I did this one again today for Day 2 of the 7-Day Intermediate Workout Challenge. I used 5-pound weights this time and managed pretty well with them. Still wobbling a bit on the super slow march, but I was able to straighten myself out without holding onto anything this time. I also mixed up the order this time and did the strength exercises right after the warm-up and then went back to the cardio, adding a couple of extra stretches of my own to the final cooldown. Looking forward to Day 3! 🙂 (Jan. 8, 2024)

I've been having trouble getting myself going in the morning lately, but I started my day with this workout as soon as I was able to get up, and it felt good. This was my first time trying it, and I hadn't watched it in a long time, so I stuck to the original order instead of doing the strengthening portions first this time. Some of the cardio moves seemed to be good for leg strength too, which was a bonus for me. I always need to hold onto something when I'm doing any kind of leg extensions, but I tried to balance with my arms out during the "super slow march." I wobbled a little and needed to reach for the chair back a couple of times, but I managed without support for most of that exercise.🙂 April and Aiko, I hope you have both been enjoying this holiday season, and I'm wishing you and Mochi and your whole family a very happy, healthy New Year and much good health, happiness, and success in 2024 and far beyond! 🥳🎉💖 I'm looking forward to seeing what you will come up with for us in the new year and am hoping for another New Year's challenge.😘💞

Really nice workout! I was a bit sore from yesterday, but I am no longer sore! I have to admit that my balance has a lot room for improving. I had to hold onto a chair for that part of the workout. But I still work up a sweat, so I count that as a win! Thank you, April and Aiko!

Great overall workout that is well-paced for senior folks. Realized thru' the balancing xercises, that the left week is slightly weaker than the right - so got to work on that side a little more. These 40 minutes are truly beneficial for us to engage in. Thank you! Thumbs up as always.

Thank you for this video. I am grieving the loss of my brother who God has called home on Sunday 2/20/22. This workout helped me focus on selfcare and feel a sense of accomplishment. This day started dreary and sad. I am taking time to unpack mentally, allowing myself to go through the emotions. Your workout gave me an inner peace I can not fully express. Thank you April and Aiko. This was a great workout. I missed my buddy Misho. I wish I hadn't donated my ankle weights years ago. Aiko you are a beast. Everytime April asks if you need water you say "No I'm good." and you were using ankle weights. 40 minutes is the perfect amount of time not too short and not too long. I prefer being in a chair. I can be barefoot which is more comfortable on my Arthritis even wearing custom made arch supports standing.

Thanks for your videos. I am 65 & had a hip injury more than 5 years ago & hadn't found any exercises that helped. Stopped my physiotherapy as they were not helping & causing more pain. Started your chair yoga 2 weeks ago, gradually adding the warm up & cool down plus most of the 5 mins workout. Now I can manage this 40 min workout; all sitting down. Feel really good to do at my pace especially for my left leg. My challenge is to try the other standing workout. Having your mum with you motivated me.I feel stronger & look forward daily to do these workout. So glad that I can alternate the videos daily. Thank you both.

I had a knee replacement in March, 2022 and determined to even at my age of 68..to get moving…since I’ve been very restricted. Robin & I have been doing this workout for awhile. We love it! For the 1st time I put on my ankle weights for the 1st two segments. Not sure I should have but I'm amazed that these moves really worked my back leg muscles. Wow!! Not bad for a 69 year old! 😄

I did this one again today for Day 2 of the 7-Day Intermediate Workout Challenge. I used 5-pound weights this time and managed pretty well with them. Still wobbling a bit on the super slow march, but I was able to straighten myself out without holding onto anything this time. I also mixed up the order this time and did the strength exercises right after the warm-up and then went back to the cardio, adding a couple of extra stretches of my own to the final cooldown. Looking forward to Day 3! 🙂 (Jan. 8, 2024)

I've been having trouble getting myself going in the morning lately, but I started my day with this workout as soon as I was able to get up, and it felt good. This was my first time trying it, and I hadn't watched it in a long time, so I stuck to the original order instead of doing the strengthening portions first this time. Some of the cardio moves seemed to be good for leg strength too, which was a bonus for me. I always need to hold onto something when I'm doing any kind of leg extensions, but I tried to balance with my arms out during the "super slow march." I wobbled a little and needed to reach for the chair back a couple of times, but I managed without support for most of that exercise.🙂

Really nice workout! I was a bit sore from yesterday, but I am no longer sore! I have to admit that my balance has a lot room for improving. I had to hold onto a chair for that part of the workout. But I still work up a sweat, so I count that as a win! Thank you, April and Aiko!

Great overall workout that is well-paced for senior folks. Realized thru' the balancing xercises, that the left week is slightly weaker than the right - so got to work on that side a little more. These 40 minutes are truly beneficial for us to engage in. Thank you! Thumbs up as always.
