I'm 69 and have worked out at the gym five days/week for my entire adult life. But now that I have arthritis in my spine and hips I've had to change my approach to cardio. This low-impact session is fantastic for me. It doesn't cause me pain or injure me, and depending on how I feel each session I can speed up or slow down. Thank you so very much. I’m grateful for this channel because I’m a really obese 27-year old and haven’t been exercising for the past couple of years, so joining a gym/ going to a trainer feels wry intimidating. Going through these exercises helps me work up a sweat without becoming completely out for the count, and I’m hopeful that I can gently build up my stamina this way in order to prepare for more rigorous exercise in the (near) future. I’ve prepared a couple of playlists for myself, each containing your warm-up > one workout > cool-down videos so that it’s just a matter of me putting a playlist on and following it for my day’s routine. One video idea: you could speak on what sort of exercise schedule can be followed during the week (e.g. cardio on Monday, core exercises on Tuesday etc.) and suggest a corresponding video for each day. It could be an interesting playlist idea as well! I’m aware of your 7-day playlist, but this was more from the perspective of arranging your already-existing video library into some sort of order that can be followed day-after-day. I for sure could use that order to begin with! Thanks once again for this video, and looking forward to more content from you!

This is my favorite walking video and I start my day with it without fail. I like the variety of steps with measured time. I love the banter between the two of you so much and the thoughtful way you guide your Mom in her steps. At times, while following your directions, I almost feel like we are in actual same space and like you can watch my own activity. That is such a personal touch. I am so grateful to have found you. I am the same age as your Mom so I don't feel like I am age clumsy when I see her have a little trouble at times keeping up. I just love both of you. I would love it if you could make a session including rhythmical music to keep the steps to music and to have the length of the walk to get to 1 mile walk. Of course, if you do not make this for special request, your tapes are best of what I have found on line for people my age.

I have been working out with your videos for two weeks now. I went for a three mile walk 2 days ago with only stopping 3 times. I usually have to stop several more times because of pain. I wish I had started sooner but can't change that. Any way I will continue working out with video's especially since changing weather keeps me indoors. I have walked for exercise for decades. These exercises will help me keep on taking walks. Thanks so much.

I am 63 and grotesquely out of shape which is of great concern to my family and myself. Your videos have brought so much to my life and I can’t thank you enough for making them. They are perfect for seniors and beginners. This 30 minute workout is my favorite and then the cool down video. I can’t keep up yet, but I will eventually, then my goal is to add 1lb weights until I can do the exercises correctly and keep up, then go to 2lb and so on and so forth. I tend to go all out and end up with an injury so liked that I stayed within my recommended heart rate and my body feels good and like it worked. Excellent intermediate workout with good info from you April as we go along: how different muscle groups are being worked on. Aware as I am of various ‘out of alignments’ in my body I just monitor what I can comfortably do . Thank you both. I’ve said about your other workouts, as many other of your followers are saying your affectionate and fun relationship together is wonderful. I love this series of videos. It improves coordination, balance, strength also in the upper body. My step counter tells me that I moved 6287 steps during this 30 minutes workout.

Thank you, April & Mom, for emphasizing that it is OK to move at our own pace. I've quit so many exercise attempts because I felt inadequate as I was unable to keep up with the group. Knowing it is OK to pause the video and rest a few extra minutes before continuing has helped me stick to an exercise routine. I found you all in October and have averaged 5 sessions a week since then. I've experienced a tremendous growth in stamina, strength, and stability. Thank you for these videos. (I've also lost 30 lbs - Yay!)

I'm 69 and have worked out at the gym five days/week for my entire adult life. But now that I have arthritis in my spine and hips I've had to change my approach to cardio. This low-impact session is fantastic for me. It doesn't cause me pain or injure me, and depending on how I feel each session I can speed up or slow down. Thank you so very much. I’m grateful for this channel because I’m a really obese 27-year old and haven’t been exercising for the past couple of years, so joining a gym/ going to a trainer feels wry intimidating. Going through these exercises helps me work up a sweat without becoming completely out for the count, and I’m hopeful that I can gently build up my stamina this way in order to prepare for more rigorous exercise in the (near) future.
I’ve prepared a couple of playlists for myself, each containing your warm-up > one workout > cool-down videos so that it’s just a matter of me putting a playlist on and following it for my day’s routine.
One video idea: you could speak on what sort of exercise schedule can be followed during the week (e.g. cardio on Monday, core exercises on Tuesday etc.) and suggest a corresponding video for each day. It could be an interesting playlist idea as well! I’m aware of your 7-day playlist, but this was more from the perspective of arranging your already-existing video library into some sort of order that can be followed day-after-day. I for sure could use that order to begin with!

This is my favorite walking video and I start my day with it without fail. I like the variety of steps with measured time. I love the banter between the two of you so much and the thoughtful way you guide your Mom in her steps. At times, while following your directions, I almost feel like we are in actual same space and like you can watch my own activity. That is such a personal touch. I am so grateful to have found you. I am the same age as your Mom so I don't feel like I am age clumsy when I see her have a little trouble at times keeping up. I just love both of you.
I would love it if you could make a session including rhythmical music to keep the steps to music and to have the length of the walk to get to 1 mile walk. Of course, if you do not make this for special request, your tapes are best of what I have found on line for people my age.

I have been working out with your videos for two weeks now. I went for a three mile walk 2 days ago with only stopping 3 times. I usually have to stop several more times because of pain. I wish I had started sooner but can't change that. Any way I will continue working out with video's especially since changing weather keeps me indoors. I have walked for exercise for decades. These exercises will help me keep on taking walks. Thanks so much.

I am 63 and grotesquely out of shape which is of great concern to my family and myself. Your videos have brought so much to my life and I can’t thank you enough for making them. They are perfect for seniors and beginners. This 30 minute workout is my favorite and then the cool down video. I can’t keep up yet, but I will eventually, then my goal is to add 1lb weights until I can do the exercises correctly and keep up, then go to 2lb and so on and so forth. Thank you, April & Mom, for emphasizing that it is OK to move at our own pace. I've quit so many exercise attempts because I felt inadequate as I was unable to keep up with the group. Knowing it is OK to pause the video and rest a few extra minutes before continuing has helped me stick to an exercise routine. I found you all in October and have averaged 5 sessions a week since then. I've experienced a tremendous growth in stamina, strength, and stability. Thank you for these videos. I'm 71 and have been working out consistently for the last 10 years; but got injured and couldn't exercise for a few weeks. When I started looking for gentler workouts, I found you!
