    I thought i was the only one that had this problem lol. Couldnt find anyone else reporting this issue. Own my civic for 2 years pretty much when it first got released and i was confused af where to jack. Never had this inconvenience with my older civic and subaru. definitely dont like working on the new civic just for this reason but other than that fairly easy to work on. Thanks for the video!

    Changed my oil this weekend for the first time on my 2024 Civic Sport. First time ever I couldn't figure out how to jack up a car! I called a buddy with a civic and he told me to just go buy some ramps! Thanks for the video! I usually buy Toyota, hope I have better luck in the future working on this car! lol

    Dude, this saved me right as was going to install a PRL front pipe and N1 exhaust on my ‘24 Civic Si. Thank you for showing both front and rear!

    Wondering how the jackstand pads have held up? These look like Harbor Freight pads? I very much appreciate your videos and the vast amount of sharing you do, thank you!

      Jackstand pads have held up great, I think I’ve been using them for almost 10 years now

    I've been going from the side, from behind the front wheel, to get to the center point, with my Fit.

    I don't have the long reach Daytona. Can this be done without the long reach? Great vids as always!

    • @NAUS2K
      @NAUS2K  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes as long as you can get the front tires up on some ramps or wood to start, so you can get a shorter jack all the way under to the front center jack point as shown

    I use two jacks to lift up the front of the car and to put it on jack stands, one of the jacks isn't even a long reach one. I lifted my car to change my oil and filter at 925 miles.

      With the jacks on both front pinch welds, where do you place the jack stands? Subframe tow hooks? Everywhere else is plastic under tray

    • @abraham3981
      @abraham3981 9 месяцев назад +1

      @NAUS2K I use one jack (the regular non long reach) to lift by either pinch weld high enough to make space for the long reach jack to get all the way the subframe lifting point then I raise the long reach jack high enough to free the regular jack and at this point remove the regular jack and place both jackstands at the pinch welds then remove the long reach jack after lowering the car to the jack stands.

    great vid as usual! quick random question boss, do you happen to know if a 9th gen civic lowering springs work on an 8th gen civic?? with few "modification" rubber grommet swaps work?

      I am not sure brother, I have very little experience with the 9thgen

    Thanks for the tutorial. Just wondering, were you looking to do service on the car? Is there a reason to jack up the car on all fours with such low mileage?

      Was going to undercoat some key areas like control arms and what not with blaster surface shield. Hoever did not end up doing it this day because I found a valve cover leak which I put up a separate video on

    can you not use the car jack the car came with to lift high enough to put the jack stands under?

    • @NAUS2K
      @NAUS2K  6 дней назад

      The little jack that came with the car is only intended to be used in emergencies and only to be used on the pinch welds to change a tire. Since I put the jack stands on thr pinch welds you can’t jack there

    Hi..can you please tell me how can I put up the rear window wiper. I mean, when I wash the car and I'm washing the rear window and dry it.
    You know, for the front wipers there is a procedure and I could do it but for the rear window, I couldn't
    So the rear wiper it should stay up just like in winter when you want to protect the wipers and not geting frosen during the night.
    Thank you

    Great info as allways,but I guess if you use the second handle that comes in the box with the daytona floor jack you could reach easily

    • @NAUS2K
      @NAUS2K  9 месяцев назад

      That only affects where your hand is when jacking it up, the jack would still be under the car just as far.

    Hey bud, what ramp are those (and lift height)? and is the lift enough to change oil? Im looking for a set of ramps for my 11th gen Si.
    I think the ground clearance is the same for hatch and si?

    • @NAUS2K
      @NAUS2K  4 месяца назад +2

      Yes the ride height on this car and the Si is almost identical. These are plain rhino ramps from advance auto parts

      Is there enough space for an oil change with just the ramps?

    Pita to just jack up a car

    • @abraham3981
      @abraham3981 9 месяцев назад

      If you have two jacks not really just jack up the car with one jack on the side lifting point and once it is high enough, just place the other jack towards the center one and lift to free the one on the side and then you can proceed to place the jack stands on both sides.
