When I sold Nissans, I spent my first month just getting in a car and familiarizing myself with all the features; kinda upsetting that folks with half my intellect and questionable hygiene and odious personal habits sold more than me, although I had a couple people with Muranos pull into our dealership in a panic and say they're about to run out of gas and couldn't figure out how to get the gas cover lid open (one lady tried to pry it open with a key, scratching the paint). I’m considering highly leaving the Honda family. I have a 2020 Civic and I’m so bored with the car. The lack of technology use is just kind of blah. I want some features to start my car with my phone or lock and unlock the doors. you know as well as anyone that sometimes when you do the walk away lock you’ll always get that multiple beeps that something ain’t right. So someone didn’t slam hard enough or something ridiculous. Be nice to just lock and move on or get those alerts if someone else gets in the car and thinks it’s locked and you can lock it from your device. The new 22 lacking HD radio and XM really disappointed me as I live in an area where cell service isn’t the best so the satellite connection is best for me when driving compared to the app for reliability. While the Touring has it the expense of hitting a touring just for that is insane. I can’t find a car that seems to be recommended enough outside the civic yet the new civic is a bore. My 2020 seems more high tech than the 2022, yet the redo is bland, lifeless and static looking esp on the inside. Is there a reason I shouldn’t count the new 22 out? Is there a vehicle that comes close to beating it that would be recommended?

Thanks for the tips brother. This is amazingly useful. I thought I recognized the lot and as soon as I saw the license plate I knew! I just bought a 2022 Civic Sport Touring from there! One question I'd have for you is how the remote start works, I can get the engine started remotely, but once I get in the car as soon as I touch the shifter event with the brakes pressed the engine shuts off and I have to press the start button. Feels like it defeats the purpose of remote start? I must be doing something wrong lol.
When you get in the car. Push the break then hit the start button (even though the engine is running) your dash lights will come up and your car will not shut off.
I think it’s just a feature to “warm up” or “cool off” your car. When it’s 100 degrees outside and I use the push start from the remote, the AC usually is running. And when it’s cold outside, I think it’s used to warm up the engine, before jumping in the car and taking off 😂 although I will say I tend to forget often about pushing the start button inside the vehicle and I just gotta restart 😂😂
This all stuff my dealer asked me if I wanted on or didn't want on prior to taking delivery of the car. My sales rep had a paper with essentially all these tips and asked how i would want the car setup. And while I was finalizing finance paperwork, she went out and updated all the settings.

I was on my way out of town to a dealership about 60 mi away. The local boys had nothing. But I stop just to make sure. One of the sales reps told me they had the exact car in the back but we're waiting on a relay switch for the AC. I ask him if it could be swapped with one from another car. Why no delayed power (retained power) for the radio, windows, etc. on the Civic?
If you do not open the door you do have delayed power to the windows.

Does anybody know how much air pressure goes in tires the door says 32 to 33 but the tires say 51 psi
you should always follow the door measures. not the tire

I was on my way out of town to a dealership about 60 mi away. The local boys had nothing. But I stop just to make sure. One of the sales reps told me they had the exact car in the back but we're waiting on a relay switch for the AC. I ask him if it could be swapped with one from another car. He ask the manager and I got the car that day. Saved me 120 miles of driving. But how does a brand new car show up with a missing switch.
