I'm sure all of this is in the owner's manual. But, if it's a novel, like our '06 Civic Hybrid had, it takes real dedication finding and learning all the features and settings. Thanks for sorting through some of that.

Omg it's such a relief having the option to turn the remote window control off. I can't count how many times I accidentally activated that and got to my 2020 Civic thinking someone broke in.

Man that’s great. Had an old accord that I accidentally rolled those windows down on at night during a bad rain storm, it ruined the leather seats. It’s about time Honda!!
@@justinrose6763 i don’t see it, side by side the TLX and Accord look nothing alike I’ve seen and driven both 2021 Accord and 2022 TLX and they interiors are nothing alike and exteriors look nothing alike. If you had said this 2022 Civic looks like a VW Jetta I could agree with you. The MDX and Mazda CX-9 look similar because the side profiles but the MDX is larger and interior looks nothing like a Mazda

Here's something else you may not know Honda has removed electric seats, the second USB port, the fog lights and worst of all they even removed the xm/serius from every trim level but the Touring on The Civic.

I just got the 2022 Civic Touring, and my steering wheel doesn’t have the home button. Any other way to access these settings? I can’t seem to find any other way to access them and I would be super disappointed if the highest trim doesn’t have these features..
Been leasing Civics since 2003. The 2022 handles curves better than any Civic I had. The Idle stop is most annoying so I bought IdleStopper to turn that off automatically
for the vast majority of people driving on public roads, handling is way more important than horsepower. im getting the touring and it has 180 and that is more than enough.

Just bought the 22 civic sport. It's missing a few options on the settings that you have shown. Like walk away auto lock and lockout prevention and the remote Windows down. Also the unit on the dash looks a little different than most 22 civic sports that I have seen. Is it possible that the original owner special ordered this 22 civic sport with these options excluded?

Too bad dealers have turned into thieves. Asked a local dealer about ordering a new Civic hatchback with the 6 speed manual. He said no problem but it'll be $3K over MSRP if you want one. What crooks, loyal customers won't forget this crap.
Check out someone with more inventory like Carvana, Vroom, Carmax, etc. May not be brand new, but you can probably find what you want at a decent price!

Safe for driving in the rain, or during winter up north? They are only 0.78" wider than the 16s. What's your take on 18s for safety? I want the black, low profile rims, but I'm worried about losing control.
I have 18" wheels on my 2019 Civic. I can say for sure rain, no problem. I don't have snow/ice in my area so I can't speak on that, but the more important factor is the tire you have, and width for traction, so just be sure to have winter tires if applicable in your area. As long as you're not driving aggressively and have traction control, you should be fine!
@@inc1t3Ful Thank you! I went for the (Canadian) EX model, which has 215/55r16 wheels. I may buy a separate set next summer, or once my all-seasons run out. We get a ridiculous amount of snow here, so I have a proper pair of winter tires to throw on the existing rims.

Very informative video! These are some of the features a salesman should be educating his buyers about. When we purchased our 2014 Odyssey…I had popped open the fuel door while looking over the cars features…then realized the sliding door on that side would not operate…Honda was smart enough to have this feature but the salesman was unaware that it was there. Smart feature in general especially if kids try and exit vehicle when refueling.
my salesman kept insisting he show me how to set up my radio and iphone to the car, cause the last honda i had was a 14 civic. so he gets in the passanger side (im in drivers seat), and he moreless takes over not allowing me to touch and he had NO clue on how to change things. i had to speak up, he was so overly aggressive, and said "so u DONT know. let ME do it." and i picked up how right away. these guys think they know everything about every car and it makes me so upset, they just get it a car YOU bought and start changing settings. personally, i LOOK FWD to adjusting my radio stations and esp the bass, treble, etc.

When you pop that panel off to get to the trunk release Honda recommends you cover the key with a cloth they don't scratch the plastic
