scalp and overall hair health… maybe But Issue is, if your cause of hairlosss/miniaturisation is due to DHT and your genetic disposition.. you could knuckle your head till it turns into dough and that won’t cure/stop it.
DHT in balding scalps is localised due to chronic inflammation. If you can release some of the tension, and in turn inflammation, DHT levels will naturally fall as a result. It's not like people with AGA have unique, magical DHT glands and receptors that people with full heads of hair don't. The locally elevated DHT level is simply a biproduct and not an initial cause in the process.
@@19jacobob93yes DHT may, just as it can cause itch, flaking and sebum in some, but does not always, nor does it always cause inflammation. If there is inflammation, then there are other more effective ways in treating the ailment. If it is simply DHT being the culprit of hairloss, then as I mentioned, it’s not as simple as kneading your scalp
@eeiko321 DHT is not a cause of inflammation. Your body actually uses it as an anti-inflammatory device, hence the accumulation of DHT in balding scalps. Given that DHT builds up in affected areas tells us that something inflammatory is happening there to start with. I'd personally rather tackle the cause of the inflammation than the biproduct. DHT worsens balding as it can indirectly upregulate the formation of fibrosis/scar tissue, which leads to miniaturisation, and is why reducing DHT often helps with the progression of the condition. This does not mean it is the primary cause.
Since I have been doing the massages I have noticed a significant increase in hair loss when showering. Is this a kind of shedding? Is this normal and will it go away? Has anyone had similar experiences?
It means that it's any other cause of hair fall , apply bhringraj oil twice a week , eat 10 curry leaves a day take a good sleep , exercise daily if you can otherwise massage your scalp daily. Hope so you see results it worked for me .
it means that the weaker hairs are falling out which makes room for new hairs to grow, this hairloss is supposed to happen and the hair results might take a few months to show up if you are consistent. Be careful though dont massage your scalp to hard and intensely or it causes hair breakage
Before you come to any conclusions… see a doctor first. Ailments can cause hair loss/thjnning… and then there genetic hairloss… which there’s no cure whether you vibrate or massage to kingdom come.
Does only hand massage work? without using any minoxidil or chemicals? I am 21 years old and I have good amount of hair on other parts my head but much less hair in my the mid scalp and crown area So will massaging work without any chemicals?
If you have aggressive hair loss, you'll most likely need an aggressive hair loss stack. Which would include a DHT blocker (finasteride) but make sure you talk to your doctor.
@@Hairguard it hurts the same way when you have a tight ponytail and then you let your hair down after a long day but only sometimes. I also think i have a sensitive scalp
Yes but obviously give it time until the transplanted hairs are fully grown out before putting any pressure on them. You wouldn't want to dislodge them
Certainly finasteride helps a lot of men. But basically we see results from finasteride curtail after about 12 months. So the hair loss will be stable but not regrowing. If you want further growth then look at the other mechanisms of hair loss. That's where the Growband can prove very useful.
@Hairguard well use your growband and we are gonna see if it has any effects on blocking dht ,use it without finasteride and it will be useless, and if u need regrowth go for dutasteride with minoxidil strongest combo in this era.

Yes blocking DHT will help significantly. Like the study that showed botox + finasteride was incredibly effective.

i have question because i'm massaging my scalp everyday but sometimes when i go harder the next day my scalp kinda hurts is it bad?
It depends how much it hurts. And that also means you need to give it longer to recover. I'd slowly work my way up. Don't overdo it.
