Dr. Berg, it might be time to put together a supplementation guide for your line of products. I’ve noticed that many of them contain overlapping list of supplements, so if one was to combine a few them for their daily routine (for example Hair Formula + Trace Minerals + D3K2), they would exceed recommended daily dose. I’d love to see your recommended 7 day supplement schedule, maybe in combination with suggested meals. This could be a series of multiple guides, depending on what health issue is being targeted.

This is a great video. There are so many things I relate to in this. Lack of red meat in my diet over the last few years, balding, stress, anemia.. I think I need to go on the carnivore diet for a while. Thank you yet again Dr Berg!
@@samhamlett2769 Helped me. Didn't go full carnivore as I do include some fruit, garlic and sauerkraut. But that is all. Rest is good quality red meat and many eggs. Feel great overall, 8 months in. For the balding I have been doing daily specific head massages that you can find examples on youtube for. It has certainly made a difference. Personally, I was not interested in any of the drugs/chemicals that are often used. I just think the financial cost and also potential health-related costs are not worth it. Obv with those drugs you will likely keep ur hair thick until you stop using them, whereas going the natural route perhaps you will only be able to delay the hair loss process long term. So it depends what u want. For me I'm happy to eat healthier, do some head massages and just not stress about it and see what happens.
Leaving it here as it may help someone. My hair fall, which I was told by a doctor was androgenetic, stopped when I started on melatonin (3mg) and GABA (1000mg). I was using Minox, of course, but wasn't having much success. I took these for others reasons and notice that in 3 days it fell way less until it almost stopped. I stooped taking them just to see what would be the result. The hair fell in greater quantity again. Maybe it will work for someone else.
Legumes, such as lentils, beans, and peas, are a good source of lysine. For example, one cup of cooked lentils provides about 1.1 grams of lysine. Nuts and seeds, such as almonds, peanuts, cashews, and pumpkin seeds, are also good sources of lysine. For example, one ounce of roasted almonds provides about 1.4 grams of lysine.
The problem is as Dr berg explains that these foods have lectins which interfere with absorption of nutrients Soaking and sprouting both reduce lectins
Takeaways: 1. Hair is a protein nothing but type of collagen. Protein is nothing but bunch of amino acids. 2. Lysine: is one of the important of amino acids. It mainly present in animal protein not on Plant protein, Grain protein. Eggs , red meat is better. Plant and Grain proteins have Phytates ehich block other factors. 3. Iron also important for blood. Anemia is also one factor for hair loss. Lysine also helps in Iron absorption. Iron related to red foods like red meat. 4. Gut health is important. If you cant digest or absorb Lysine. Gut microbes makes amino acids. So take probiotic foods. 5. DHT inhibitors ( stoppers) . Zinc, lysine, pumpkin seeds oil, green tea extract. 6. Lysine helps in many things stress, heart, diabetics , insulin resistance etc.. 7. Chronic stress - autoimmune diseases, Hair loss etc.. since Cortisol hormone is a catabolic hormone. It breaks things down. Our body not designed for cortisol for long period of time. 8. B complex - Nutritional yeast. OVERALL, LYSINE AND RED MEAT( CARNIVORE OR KETO) diet fixes many things like diabetes, gut health, inflammation and finally HAIR LOSS.
@@Drberg DOC BERG IN ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWED , YOU SAID RED MEAT INCREASES DHT.....plz clear the doubt if we should eat red meat or not and even google also says

@@lakishalewis6571Do not try it. Carnivore is extreme weight loss diet and no one healthy should be doing it for more than 3 weeks. The people promoting it either have serious illnesses which a form of fasting can help or simply have an eating disorder and this is the only way they can stay slim. Carnivore is only useful for the obese and the diabetics and those who as I said have a serious chronic disease. Carnivore is VERY dangerous for women of reproductive capacity and athletes whose performance it will lower.

Dr. Berg's videos are always informative and cool as an iceberg. Yes, all 4.9K of them dating back 14 years ago. Thank you doctor for all you do for the entire world.
The only thing that is missing in your videos is metric units that are understandable by the whole world, not just a few countries. This channel is so close to perfection.
I'm on more carnivore foods. Take collagen peptides, whey protein, bone broths, take zinc , use rosemary oil and Ketoconazole shampoo and even tho I think I slowed it down over few yrs I believe genetics + hormones eventually are takin over. Thinning on top I noticed low 30s and now near 40 it's slightly worse. Very strange for me as in teens 20s having thick hair barbers having to thin it saying ul never go bald. Unfortunately our health service don't care to test for things as its deemed cosmetic. I swear if this happened to 90% of women in 20s to 50s they would be a cure by now. Yet we make jokes about it to men. 🤷♂️
Diet and rosemary oil does nothing for hair loss. (Diet may help if one is deficient, which is rare) but genetics is the main reason. Get on Finastride ASAP. minoxidil may help a bit.
All my hair has grown back !!! I have been eating primarily meat. Occasional lettuce. I was diagnosed with alopecia and had multiple bald spots Sugar carb gone. Furthermore all my knee elbow pains are gone. My toe nail fungus is 80 percent improvement.
I use a cocktail of castor oil-coconut oil and rose water for my hair, my hair is thicker and barely falls. Also eating lentils, veg, eggs, herbal teas and to top it up, head massages work great for hair follicles.
ooh! i've got a large tub of Lysine powder! Not that i have anything wrong with my hair, but its been stuck in my cupboard for about a year. Will have to use it up lol. It's an amino acid.
Usually..the hair loss pattern is often typical to areas where higher hormones secrete..especially areas habitated by demodex parasite which proliferate around these high hormone secretions.
My best friend is on the carnivore diet and she's feeling great however I'm a vegetarian after talking to her and you Dr Berg I've decided to eat red meats and and protein foods and Thank you Dr. Berg!, now I know how to make my hair grow❤
I was going vegetarian/vegan & my body literally went to crap. Ended with all sorts of health problems…diagnosed with Salivary Gland Cancer, gut issues, blood sugar problems… I started experimenting (before keto & carnivore were popular) with different things & got better with mostly fat & animal products. Now, I able to eat more variety but still keep my carbs in check.
Just found a bald spot on my head at the barber yesterday. This last 5 months have been hell and I had a string of panic attacks and a potential heart attack. All is well now, but I'm trying to regrow my hair. Thank you for the timely video Dr. Berg. 👍
My long and thick hair was suddenly thin, dry and short in the neck, about 5 or 7 cm up, from ear to ear and did not grow. After many months of this I saw Berg's video about hair and Apple Vineagar, and then I rememebered that I had poured it on my neck, head upside down, to put it into the hair. It had also been very dry before, and I used DE to make it better again and now it is normal again, but not in the neck. It has grown a little bit. Now I use only marseille soap to wash it and the brush never smells bad. I have the best wooden brush from Koh-I-Noor in Italy. I put the soap in water first, then rub it on the hair. I will never again buy schampoo or balsam. My hair is slowly getting better.
@@lorenamcgovern The time I poured it on my head, it touched the skin in my neck and burnt my hair follicles, just as Dr. Berg explains in a video. I did not notice when my hair went short exactly and did not understand why the neck hair was not long as before, all short and frizzy. I always had thick, shiny, very straight and long copper red hair. Some years before that it was very dry. At first I thought it was my age. I eat healthy biodynamic foods. After the incident with the hair follicles in the neck, I understood that it was dry earlier because I had used apple cider vinegar in water, maybe 2 dl in 7 dl water, and my hair was so dry I could hardly not comb it. I used Diatomaceous Earth and it got good again. The follicles in my neck have not improved much. I did this pure vinegar thing in January 2000. I will never again use apple vinegar, schampoo or balsam. I listened to Eric Berg videos about hair and there is good info there that I can not explain here, would take me ages. I use now only marseille soap, and it is the only type of soap that ought to be made. They ruin our health with all kinds of chemicals, bleach in toilet paper, chemicals in viscose tissue, teflon, metals etc. I use only natural things. To repair my neck hair I'd have to do oil therapies, which I have no time for now. I love the marseille soap I get cheaply in Arabic shops, made in Turkey or Syria, it is the same thing. Just listen to all his hair videos and you will know more. Marseille soap is the best. I put my soap in water first for a few minutes or a whole day, or even just 30 seconds, don't matter and rub it on the hair. At first the hair feels strange when wet, then it is good. I suspect they put something into the schampoos so you will not notice its damaging effect, and this goes away when you use marseille soap. also the brush I use now never smells. The schampoo is probably toxic and kills the good bacteria that protect the scalp. I don't understand why else the hair can smell bad with it after not having washed the hair for some days but not now when I use marseille soap. It never smells and my brush never smells. This is easy to test oneself.
The activation of the hair follicles also reflects the hair growth observed in the lactoferrin-treated area. In addition, increased subcutaneous fat and increased thickness of skin was observed in the lactoferrin-treated area as compared with the control area of the same mice
Only time Dr. Berg didn't help me. Been doing these for two years and I'm still a cue ball. I'm convinced I have major DHT. Dad was bald too so I think that's my issue. Only Rogaine had worked in the past but hated the itchiness from it.

It doesnt matter what you do or what you eat..they said decades ago if you want to keep your hair eat lots of eggs and take lots of saw palmetto and I've done so religiously since 1991 and I'm completely bald!..My older brother on the other hand did none of that and his hair is as thick as a womans. Its genetics pure and simple and it seems like the first borns get all the good genetics as my buddy is also the second born and has an older brother and hes as bald as me and his older brother also has thick hair with not a trace of baldness! Thank you!!
You’re absolutely right, all those plant based foods you mentioned have lysine, if one has impeccable health and digestion. Unfortunately for some of us,the anti- nutrient content of plants, and things like low stomach acid and gut disbiosis , eating animal based proteins are more easily up taken by the majority . I’ll only take 1gram at a time and usually not everyday. Also I wonder if doctor Berg could look into health benefits of Venison or deer meat. Is it as good as beef nutritionally?
It tends to be less fatty but certainly would provide many nutrients from eating wild foods, when my spouse processes our deer meat, we add bacon pieces to the grinding for burger and stew chunks to add fat and flavor But deer meat is definitely good for you

Can you please give more details on how you did this? My hair as well as my teen daughters thinned drastically about 2-3months after we had Covid. Did you buy or make the tinctures? If so where? If not where did you buy the burdock & horsetail and how did you make (ingredients may be key?) How often did you do the scalp massages? Thank-You!!
Hi. From Australia 🇦🇺. Can u please explain how tinctures work n how does one get them? Is horsetail n burdock supplements or oils? Sounds really great if it worked...thanks in advance 😊
This has worked wonders for my hair growth: 1mg finasteride daily, regaine foam applied twice daily to scalp, 10mg of collagen peptides daily and 800mcg of Biotin daily. Above all, a clean diet.

Red meat really energize me much more than white meat. I can easily go for OMAD with red meat, but will get hungry easily with white meat (and carbs of course).

Are those products Dr.Berg sells made in China or USA?
I listed something similar before reading your post. I agree with your suggestion 100%

This is a great video. There are so many things I relate to in this. Lack of red meat in my diet over the last few years, balding, stress, anemia.. I think I need to go on the carnivore diet for a while. Thank you yet again Dr Berg!
how did the diet go? did it help at all? thanks in advance
I am so so so grateful of your knowledge.
We are lucky to have you here. Thanks for kindness to human.❤❤❤
The problem is as Dr berg explains that these foods have lectins which interfere with absorption of nutrients
Soaking and sprouting both reduce lectins
Still red meat is best source. 10oz beef steak contain 10 mg lysine. Iron, Zinc and many others essential Amino Acids .
Takeaways:
OVERALL,
LYSINE AND RED MEAT( CARNIVORE OR KETO) diet fixes many things like diabetes, gut health, inflammation and finally HAIR LOSS.

Nice to hear. How long are you doing the carnivore diet now and how much hair did you loose in the first place? I assume you’re a male, right?
I use a cocktail of castor oil-coconut oil and rose water for my hair, my hair is thicker and barely falls. Also eating lentils, veg, eggs, herbal teas and to top it up, head massages work great for hair follicles.
ooh! i've got a large tub of Lysine powder! Not that i have anything wrong with my hair, but its been stuck in my cupboard for about a year. Will have to use it up lol. It's an amino acid.
Usually..the hair loss pattern is often typical to areas where higher hormones secrete..especially areas habitated by demodex parasite which proliferate around these high hormone secretions.
interesting

Just found a bald spot on my head at the barber yesterday. This last 5 months have been hell and I had a string of panic attacks and a potential heart attack. All is well now, but I'm trying to regrow my hair. Thank you for the timely video Dr. Berg. 👍
No problem. Wishing you good health.
Are you saying that you poured apple cider vinegar on your hair, and that's what made it dry?

Thank you Dr. Berg! I really needed this video! Im losing alot of hair everyday! ❤

Tofu: A great source of lysine,
Tempeh: A good source of lysine,
Quinoa: Contains all essential amino acids,
Chia seeds: Contain all nine essential amino acids,

Seeds: A good source of lysine
Please advise on these and why these might not be good sources of much needed Lysine.

But deer meat is definitely good for you
