As a fellow health RUclipsr, I just wanted to commend you on this insightful video, Dr. Berg! The connection between vitamin D and autoimmune diseases, particularly in relation to hair loss, is often overlooked in discussions about hair health.
It's fascinating how many people are unaware that hair follicles are living structures and that their health is influenced by various nutrients. Your emphasis on the importance of the right blood tests to identify deficiencies is crucial. Many individuals may not realize that conditions like alopecia can be linked to nutrient imbalances, and your video sheds light on this important aspect.
Additionally, I appreciate your mention of magnesium's role in enzyme function related to hair health. It’s a reminder that a holistic approach to nutrition can significantly impact our overall well-being, including hair growth.
For anyone watching, I encourage you to not only consider the tests mentioned but also to consult with a healthcare professional to interpret results accurately. Thank you for sharing this valuable information, and I look forward to more content that empowers viewers to take charge of their health!

Interesting video and a lot of good points are brought up. There's no doubt a vitamin D3 deficiency could be the cause of many symptoms and disorders like hair loss...among many, many other causes (like shampoo with high levels of sulfates and parabens or fluoride in the water). When recommending or starting a magnesium supplement regiment, one should check into what type of or combination of magnesium you should take. There is something like 6 or 7 different types of magnesium and it's important to know which one does what and how with some types not being recommended at all.

I'd be careful that's an insane amount of D3. It's a synthetic hormone called cholecalciferol and it can cause hypercalcemia. It's actually used as rat poison and kills rats by means of hypercalcemia. I know someone who was hospitalized for taking over 10k IU.

Depending on which magnesium supplement you are taking, you might not absorb most of it, glycinate has the highest absorption rate (around 80%), others are in the single digit percentage wise. Dr Berg has a few videos on magnesium you might want to check out. In this video he recommends at least 20'000 iu vit D daily... a rule of thumb is 100mcg K2 per 10'000 iu vit D. Autoimmune disease might also be helped with more vitamin D. Hope you will get better!

Direct topical application of aloe vera plus copper and zinc and vitamin A and spray occasionally with magnesium oil spray all sold at health food stores or on the internet. Stretching the skin on the head helps with scalp massage. Pumpkin seed oil alternstively consistently. Also, minoxidil.
A niacin flush. Vit D 20,000 plus k2mk7 300 to 600. Liver is best source of biotin + folate = desiccated liver supplements plus eat eggs + steak. A multimineral supplememt + drink mimeral water. Reduce stress. Mega dose Melatonin + Glycine
