Thank you! My husband has been a rockstar for both of my homebirths! Both labors 12+ hours and he was with me every step of them. Lack of sleep and all. Baby #3 coming in October❤
And wishing you and your kids all the best... And it's true,my hubby helped when contractions came. I needed him to push on my tail bone with a tenis ball for pressure while having back pain during labor.
Currently 38+4 with my second and very much looking forward to my first homebirth. Can’t wait to partner alongside my husband to bring our baby into the world! Thank you for this video 😊
Any advice for a traumatized birth partner? We had an attempted home birth for Baby #1, severe postpartum psychosis for a year afterwards, emergency C-section after a car accident for Baby #2, and a hospitalization for that baby after complications. We are not pregnant yet, but plan on trying in a year or so and I want an HBAC. I always hear the advice geared towards Dads relating to their FIRST baby, suggesting education etc. By my husband is very well-versed in what is SUPPOSED to happen during birth, so we need advice on how to heal his birth trauma before going into another pregnancy that WILL end in HBAC lol
@jessthoma2803 I wish more people acknowledged that partners experience trauma too and it is so important for them to process through that before the next birth. Here are a few things that I think are important: Take a childbirth education class together either and Homebirth specific one or VBAC specific one. Get the facts about HBAC so you both feel confident in that decision. Talk about your previous birth experiences openly with each other, addressing fears, concerns, how you both want to be supported and if you still feel like more work is needed then find a birth trauma-specific therapist. One I love is Krysta Dancy. Hope that helps! -VBA3C Mom and Doula 😊
Hi Bridget! Your videos have been helpful to me when I have given birth naturally 3 times before. My husband and I wanted to try for our 4th baby.. but I got diagnosed with Adenomyosis. I’m not sure if I could get pregnant now or carry out a full term pregnancy, or if my damaged uterus would be able to give birth naturally. Do you know anything about this? How should I go about it? ❤
My husband would never educate himself about labor. He didn’t with my last homebirth, he won’t with this one. I don’t even care if he’s with me or not during giving birth.
Well there's nothing you could do to help Dad. Especially these ! Just because they worked for your husband. Never take birth classes. They are useless Guys the only thing you have to do is be there and support her. These will do absolutely nothing for you. As a father you need none of this. Trust me not her.
Lol what triggered you so bad you went on to watch and comment on several videos including commenting on her looks 😂 "trust me" says some random man projecting his insecurities onto a youtube channel

I'm 38 weeks and two days and so excited to give birth for the 4th time!
I've bet!! I felt the same, and my 4th is 1 month old today....
I would go back to that moment again and give birth ...it's so precious and unique.
And wishing you and your kids all the best...

@@jessthoma2803 have someone else as well with you guys while on labor .. maybe this might ease him a bit ...
I would say don't. There are hospitals now.

That's so sad. I'm sorry.
Why are you having another baby with a guy like that then?
